Bai Xifeng made grilled fish. Then she took out a stear. She wanted to make stead li fish. She was really committed while cooking.

"This is for you. Make do for now." Bai Xifeng placed one big fish in front of Taotie. "Enjoy it slower. Don’t rush it."
Taotie jumped into the fish. ’Delicious.’
Bai Xifeng stead another portion. She cooked the ready one. Hmm... Indeed, delicious. The grilled fish was so delicious.

Right after the man said sothing like that to Bai Xifeng, the five won turned and glared at Bai Xifeng like she was the enemy. If the glare could kill soone, Bai Xifeng might already be dead.
Bai Xifeng raised her eyebrow. She thought to herself. ’Am I having amnesia? I don’t rember getting close with this man.’
"I am slling sothing delicious here. Are you eating sothing?" The man asked.
Bai Xifeng just nodded.
"Why don’t you leave sothing behind?" One of the won asked.
"Why should I leave?" Bai Xifeng asked back.
"In case you encounter us." The woman said.
Bai Xifeng looked at the won like they were idiots. She did not want to stay here any longer. Otherwise, the stupidity would affect her, too.
’Tao-chan, we are leaving. Hurry up.’ Bai Xifeng said.
Taotie jumped onto Bai Xifeng’s shoulder.
"Wow, what is that?" One of the won saw Taotie.
"What? Is this your contracted beast?" Another said. Her tone was amused and mocking.
"Look at its small figure. It is useless in a fight. One chance per life, and you waste the chance for sothing like that."
"Stop saying sothing like that. To have a contracted beast is expensive."
"She probably decided on this beast because of sothing."
Bai Xifeng thought there was no point in staying here anymore. So, she turned around and wanted to leave.
Then, the ground was suddenly shaking. Everyone was looking around.
’It is the beast tide.’ Taotie said while looking afar.
’What is beast tide?’ Bai Xifeng asked.
Taotie looked at Bai Xifeng. The eyes really stated that she genuinely knew nothing about the beast tide.
’The beast tide was the large group of the beasts gathered and stord forward, destroying everything on their path. They seed stronger than usual.’ Taotie explained.
’Why are they gathered? Who controlled them?’ Bai Xifeng asked again.
’I don’t know why. And I don’t think anyone controls the beast tide. It just happened.’ Taotie said.
’You say they are stronger than usual, right? Can you beat them?’ Bai Xifeng asked.
Taotie turned and stared at Bai Xifeng. His stare was like asking the question, ’Are you an idiot?’
’Fine... Fine... Don’t look at like that.’ Bai Xifeng said. ’Well, they are here. Why don’t we go and collect so cores? You can fill your stomach.’
’Hearing that, Taotie was happy. He beca excited. ’Let’s go now.’
Bai Xifeng ignored the group behind her and charged forward.
"Hey, where are you going?" The man shouted, asking Bai Xifeng.
The man ended up chasing Bai Xifeng, forcing the won in the group to also follow the man.
Taotie asked Bai Xifeng to stop.
’Look, it is the beast tide.’ Taotie said.
Bai Xifeng looked at the beast tide. Indeed, terrified but excited.
The group also arrived at the sa place. They were shocked to see the beast tide. They beca more shocked when they saw Bai Xifeng charge toward the beast tide.
"Is she crazy?"
"She seems to want to die."
"Are you stupid or what? She wants to kill the beasts to get their cores. We are still in the test."
"Owh... We should go too."
They rushed to the beast tide. They started fighting with the beasts. However, they witnessed sothing horrible. They saw the small beast that belonged to Bai Xifeng turn into a different form.
"Tao-chan, rember to leave out the head. You can eat the rest." Bai Xifeng shouted.
The beast and the man started fighting. The beast’s way of fighting was brutal. It just grabbed another beast and, using its teeth, ripped the body from the head. It was so brutal that so won ended up throwing up and were not able to kill the beasts.
Hearing Taotie had tossed the heads away, Bai Xifeng rushed to dig the cores out of the heads.
