Now reading: Chapter 234: Demonstration from The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL], a Yaoi novel by Kairie.

Xavier had always been called a white wolf.

The resemblance was, after all, undeniable—the long mane of white hair, the sharpness in his gaze, and the natural air of dominance made for a very close association.

People admired him for it but feared him just the sa, for his presence wasn’t exactly comforting and definitely exuded no warmth.

Yet, only today did he truly feel like one.

A predatory wolf.

For beneath him was Luca, his obedient little chipmunk, who was lying down just as he was told.

His head was cradled by the softest pillows, and his slight fra sunk into the luxurious bed. And yet, this sa look made Luca look so small.

So vulnerable.

This was supposed to be a re-enactnt, and he even got permission for it, but Xavier couldn’t help but feel like a looming beast that preyed on soone so tempting and oh so easy to swallow.

Yep. He needed cleansing.

The recently minted demonstrator thought it would be easier this way, but straddling Luca like this, with his knees on either side of him, he suddenly beca unsure.

Luca, however, was determined.

He was trying to anticipate the "pain" Xavier spoke of earlier—thinking of muscle aches, internal bleeding, or perhaps even so spiritual backlash.

But what the little chipmunk hadn’t accounted for was a different kind of electrocution.

So when Xavier dipped his head, while intertwining their fingers together, the little chipmunk squeezed his eyes shut, bracing for the pain that would never co.

Instead, Luca’s breath caught in his throat as he felt sothing soft against the tips of his fingers.

Lips?

Soft.

Deliberate.

And definitely unexpected.

Xavier’s lips lingered, the slightest suction making the air thick and electric. And Luca’s mind kept on shorting.

The lips road around the sensitive pads of Luca’s fingers, a trail of what was definitely kisses being left here and there, once, twice—before his teeth grazed the little Guide’s knuckles.

Luca could not see. He tried.

But every ti he would try to open his eyes, they would reflexively shut with each ministration.

The sa lips nibbled on him slowly. And Xavier did this playfully and with all the restraint he could muster, even when he looked and felt like a predator toying with his prey.

Luca, for what it’s worth, was not sure what was happening, but whenever Xavier’s breath was caught on his fingers, he’d reflexively inhale.

His breathing would falter, and his lips would part in surprise.

And Xavier noticed all of it.

"Luca," he whispered against the flustered Guide’s hand.

"You need to exhale."

The hardworking demonstrator’s voice was low, and as much as he tried his best to keep it professional, the heat of his breath teased against Luca’s skin.

Luca’s lashes fluttered at this, but he didn’t open his eyes.

More like he couldn’t.

And the absence of sight heightened everything—the coolness of Xavier’s hands, the ghost of his lips, and the deep timbre of his voice.

Every touch seed amplified, and the little chipmunk was unable to deal with it.

The Prince could only watch in fascination as Luca’s fingertips reddened, his skin betraying his subtle reactions.

When the active demonstrator trailed his lips lower—across the trembling palm—the little Guide jerked slightly, his body unsure whether to pull away or lean in.

It was absurd.

The biding wolf wasn’t sure if this was a demonstration or a personal punishnt.

Or maybe it was both. For every passing second, it was becoming painfully clear who was suffering more.

And it wasn’t as if there was much to hold on to, but Xavier’s resolve cracked even further when his lips brushed against the delicate skin of Luca’s wrist.

The thrumming of the pulse beneath him reflected the frantic beating of his heart, and the distraught Prince just grew more relentless.

It was unbearable.

But at the sa ti, the longer he indulged, the harder it beca to pull away.

And yet he couldn’t just take what he wanted.

No.

For Luca, who had curled his other forearm over his eyes as if that simple barrier would protect him from the overwhelming sensations, trusted him.

Trusted Xavier so implicitly that even with his bare shoulders peeking through the large silken collar of his pajamas, smooth and vulnerable, Xavier couldn’t just take a bite.

The little chipmunk was utterly defenseless.

It was cute.

And was a good reminder for Xavier to only engage in what they promised to do.

But then Luca whimpered.

"Hnnng...!"

Xavier’s breath hitched.

The sound was faint. But that was nothing for the Prince, who was most attentive to Luca’s every movent and every sound.

And it ignited sothing primal, his self-restrained teetering dangerously as he instinctively lowered his lips further, trailing across his arm and finally brushing against Luca’s shoulder.

While one Prince was trying to keep it all together, one Guide was twisting beneath the towering body, his back arching slightly but not out of pain.

It was sothing else, but Luca could not make sense of it.

And this was sothing that didn’t escape the watch of the white wolf.

As it was, he was barely holding himself together as he traced along the curve of Luca’s neck.

He was too close and too attuned, for this was far closer than he could normally get.

And so, when Luca gasped softly, Xavier almost did himself in.

This was likely sothing that his little Guide didn’t do, and Xavier was likely being an ass for doing this but—this was impossible to resist.

Luca’s scent was always like this, an active temptation for a struggling destitute. Luca would always be light and crisp when he felt suffocated or alluring when he felt relaxed.

But one thing was for sure: it was always overwhelming.

And by now, he’s thinking it’s probably the energy in Luca, for even when they use the sa soap, his little chipmunk would still have this unique scent.

And this was making him very greedy. Yet he reminded himself of the true purpose of all this.

So, he wasn’t supposed to lose control.

But, as if fate itself enjoyed watching him suffer, Luca squird under him. His breathing was shallow, practically panting, and those hands clutched at the sheets like they were his last anchor.

"X—Xavier..."

The way Luca said his na—soft and trembling—made Xavier freeze.

He lowered his head just beneath Luca’s ear, forcing himself to stay still.

"Yes?" His voice was low, the remnants of restraint evident.

With Xavier suddenly stopping, Luca finally had the chance to peek from beneath his arm.

Watery eyes full of bewildernt greeted the wolf who finally got to look at those hidden golden orbs.

Luca looked so overwheld as he suddenly clutched on to Xavier like he’d just woken from a strange dream.

"I..." He faltered, clearly embarrassed, but Xavier waited patiently.

"I don’t understand," sighed Luca in frustration.

The Prince’s heart lurched.

Was it regret?

Discomfort?

Or had he gone too far?

His mind raced, but before Xavier could speak, Luca continued, voice barely above a whisper.

"How do you breathe?"

Xavier blinked.

"I—I don’t know when to breathe!" Luca lanted, his frustration mounting.

"Every ti I feel tingly, I just...forget!"

There it was.

Xavier nearly collapsed.

He could’ve laughed if his chest hadn’t been so tight.

All this ti, he was admittedly bracing for rejection, for the sight of Luca pushing him away in fear.

And yet, the little chipmunk’s greatest concern was...breathing?

"You..." Xavier’s voice cracked.

"You keep on forgetting to breathe?"

Luca’s flustered nod only made it worse.

"I tried!" The shorter guy buried his face into Xavier’s chest in mortification.

"But my heart was too noisy, and I kept holding it in!"

Xavier’s head dropped, his forehead now resting against Luca’s shoulders as laughter bubbled uncontrollably in his chest.

He was ridiculous.

Absolutely ridiculous.

But more than that, his little chipmunk was incredible.

The prince shifted, cupping the shorty’s burning face in his cool palm.

"Luca," he whispered, his tone much gentler and more relaxed this ti.

"Would you like to teach you how to breathe?"

Luca peeked up at him, his lower lip trembling slightly before nodding.

"Okay," Xavier murmured, brushing his thumb along Luca’s cheek.

"Just follow ."

And it was that earnest nod again, and Xavier prayed, or promised to pray.

He’ll go for cleansing, really.

Just not today.

Please, and thanks.
