Luca thought he couldn’t be that inexperienced anymore.
He had kissed, touched, and surrendered. He’d moaned and writhed and felt what it ant to fall apart in soone’s arms.
But this?
This was sothing else entirely.
His body already knew what was coming. It scread for release, trembling under Xavier’s touch, his thighs aching from clenching too tightly around the prince’s length. But even with his body this sensitive, even with the second orgasm already creeping up from deep inside, Luca didn’t expect what ca next.
He felt it.
First, like a pulse, gentle and quiet.
Then like a stream, thick, refreshing, unmistakable.
Spiritual energy.
His head jerked back in surprise.
Xavier’s hands were still on him, one stroking slowly between his thighs, the other gripping his chest, but his eyes—his eyes were overflowing with intent.
That’s when Luca realized what was happening.
Xavier was releasing his energy.
Letting it wrap around him. Pour into him.
Inviting him in.
Luca shivered, lips parting. "You—what are you—"
"You’ve done more than enough," Xavier whispered, voice low, trembling against his ear. "Take what you need...or as much as you want."
The energy pulsed again, richer now. The little guide could’ve sworn that a thread tugged at the inside of his core like temptation given form. He couldn’t resist it, even if he wanted to.
And he didn’t want to.
Then ca the kiss.
Xavier didn’t seek permission, not when the person he held looked at him like that. He just leaned forward and took his mouth—deep, consuming, impossible to breathe around.
The mont their lips t, the energy surged.
Luca gasped into his mouth. His entire body went taut, hips jerking forward as his soul drank Xavier in. It wasn’t like any guiding he’d done before. This wasn’t coaxing or comforting.
It was claiming. And the generous husband gave it all—allowed Luca to take everything with no filter, no reserve, nothing held back.
And the overwheld guide reached for it instinctively, and Xavier’s energy poured into him with ease, familiar, steady, grounding.
But it wasn’t passive.
It ca with hunger. Desire. Devotion. It wrapped around him like arms in the dark, cradling his mind as firmly as this striking man held his body.
The prince’s hand moved lower again.
And the mont his fingers wrapped around Luca’s aching manhood from behind, everything collapsed.
The little guide choked on a cry, the spiritual energy inside him slamming into his core at the sa ti that Xavier’s touch sent him spiraling over the edge. He didn’t just co—he detonated, his body seizing with white-hot release as spiritual energy crashed through every nerve.
His thighs gave out. His arms shook. He trembled, whining incoherently as he spilled between them, body wracked with aftershocks.
Behind him, Xavier groaned low and deep—his hips twitching as he thrust once, twice more between those soft thighs before release claid him too. Hot and heavy, he spilled over Luca’s skin, the sound of his breath ragged, primal, and undone.
They slumped forward together.
The spent guide lted against the console, boneless and breathless, completely spent. His head lolled to one side, golden eyes dazed and wet, lips still parted from the kiss that had nearly torn him apart.
His thoughts barely ford words.
What was that?
How...?
Xavier touched once.
And he was gone.
It was ridiculous.
Amazing.
Terrifying.
He whimpered faintly, a sound made only of trembling exhaustion and stunned satisfaction.
Xavier’s arms wrapped tighter around him from behind.
Possessive.
Solid.
Unmoving.
He held Luca like sothing sacred—like he feared that if he loosened his grip even a little, soone would take him away.
And then, barely audible, the prince whispered it—words so quiet they weren’t ant to be heard.
"Please be mine..."
It wasn’t a demand.
It was a wish.
A prayer.
Sothing Xavier said into the skin of his wife’s shoulder like a man asking the stars for one more mont.
Luca, thought to be drifting, caught every syllable.
And in that mont, he could’ve sworn his heart had been caught, too.
His emotions were still high when he looked up, wanting to see Xavier’s face, but what t his eyes wasn’t what he expected.
"!!!"
The prince was still dangerously handso, yes. Unfairly so.
But he looked pale. The ghostly kind. The kind of pale that said he’d given too much and had nothing left to spare.
And to anyone who could look at them like this, the contrast was jarring.
Especially because the little guide glowed.
They had undressed, or rather, Xavier had taken care of it while activating the cockpit’s self-cleaning and decontamination systems. They couldn’t bathe, not in a proper sense, but they couldn’t exactly walk out of there sticky and drenched either.
And so Luca now sat in Xavier’s lap—completely bare, flushed, glowing like a pampered milk baby that had spent a year in a luxury spa.
Xavier, by contrast, looked like a prince who had donated half his blood supply to said baby.
Luca felt guilty. Oh, so very guilty.
The ghostly giant chuckled, the sound soft and raw. "You look like you’ve committed a cri."
"I might’ve drained you," he mumbled, curling slightly over his knees.
This was amusing to Xavier, who had to keep on stifling a laugh, one that sounded slow and lazy as he lounged deeper into the cockpit seat, arm still snug around his wife’s waist. He looked thoroughly wrecked and far too relaxed for soone who’d just been spiritually drained.
"Mm. You definitely did," he said at last, grinning without sha, though he didn’t confirm anything more than that.
Luca stared at him, stunned by how effortlessly Xavier could look that good while barely keeping upright.
Wow.
So this was what it was like to be absurdly good-looking even when half-dead.
Unfortunately, that absurdly good-looking man was now looking at him in a way that made the skittish animal want to shrink and vanish.
It was soft. Intense. Quietly adoring. And all the more devastating because of how it made his heart flutter.
The little chipmunk imdiately looked away, his face burning.
"What...?" Luca asked, flustered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Xavier didn’t respond right away. He just kept looking at him, a lazy smile tugging at the corner of his lips, eyes soft with sothing warm and unreadable. His hand ca up slowly, fingers brushing over those reddened cheeks with reverent care.
"Can I have a hug?" he murmured, voice low, almost playful.
Luca blinked, heart thudding.
"And maybe... one more kiss?"
His smile widened, still faint but fond. So I can pretend, for just a bit longer, that the universe isn’t waiting to ruin my day. Thought the prince, who figured he’d indulge on his last al.
And maybe that was a smart thing to do, for outside the safe confines of the cha’s cockpit, one particular mother had been counting down.
"It’s been so long, right?" asked the duchess for possibly the fifth ti.
"Lia, it’s not even an hour, and a power nap is at least 40 minutes...if he’s really napping," sighed Cece, who has had to answer the sa way in different variations.
"Also, look at them. Everyone else isn’t alard. Maybe this happens more often than you’d expect," shrugged the dwarf who pointed at D-29 and those two cadets who were pretending to be dead.
Sure. If not for the fact that D-29 could’ve been leaking engine oil under stress, if not for its outstanding build.
But no one had to know, right?
