But sohow they could understand because this was really good and nothing they could have ever imagined tasting in their lives.

"Well, I guess we’re about to find out!" He grinned as he took a bite of what he could label a successful attempt!

Now, hopefully, their actual grilling would be just as successful.

Everyone now gathered outside, where they were surprised to see a setup of chairs and tables, as well as a separate area which the maids were sprucing up.

That was actually where they would place the allocation of everyone, as well as any extras they could possibly have.

At first, Luca was actually concerned about the number of grills they could possibly build, but Cece reassured him that those grills would be erected there hell or high water!

And they really were. Now, they had about twenty large grills that were being overseen by the staff, who had been freshly briefed by Cece.

It all sounded novel to them, for most humans wouldn’t really randomly go around and light campfires on planets where they weren’t sure if anything would just explode on them.

So most people haven’t really heard of outdoor grilling, and with this many people, too!

Which was why they were taken aback when Luca told them that the grill wasn’t created equally.

For one, the fuel, which in this case was the wood chunks that were still from Tortie’s deforestation, should be placed in the middle of the large rectangular grill so that multiple people could use both the upper and lower parts as the cold side.

"If you place the food on here, it would give it a nice sear, provided you don’t move it while it’s there. But it has to be taken off and placed on this side once it’s close to being done, or it would end up burning." Luca repeated the sa explanation he originally gave to Cece as he first chose a grill to lay down several foil-wrapped milk fish.

The people, now including the staff, followed Luca around with their heads as he flew back into the table and pulled out the spiny lobster he had cleaned earlier.

It was huge and was reborn in the eyes of those who managed to taste the boiled lobster, as it now looked atier than ever, as if a filter had been placed over their eyes.

"Now, for this one, you might want to put salt and pepper over the at before brushing on oil so that it doesn’t stick to the grill."

Over to the side, Ollie was actually telling his parents that it was the Olive Oil that they were going for when they planted those Olive trees.

And at this the blonde said it was really good, and had a special place in his heart because it was as if it was explicitly nad after him.

Obviously, it was not, but a boy could dream.

And dream he did, for this ti, each of them brought with them their very own cleaned spiny lobster.

Initially, Luca was just going to demonstrate one, but after they tasted that boiled one, the tune they were singing changed drastically, and everyone was now willing to clean their own.

Okay, maybe Ollie got soone else to assist him with 80% of the task, but that was only because the counters were created unfairly for soone like him.

Not to ntion how the large lobster he picked was apparently a hard-shelled one.

And so Kyle offered with a gesture and received a promise from the mop to share a bit of his food if anything was left over.

The adjutant could only chuckle as that kind of impossibility wouldn’t happen, but it was the thought that counts.

Obviously, Killian raised a brow at this but didn’t say anything lest the overseeing father gut the two of them from the side.

But the Chief-of-Staff wondered if he should tell their parents to pass the heirloom to that boy instead. After all, at this rate, Kyle was likely going to be sacrificed first.

Well, I guess that’s another thing to be thankful for. Thought the older Nox as he continued seasoning as told.

Now this one got the staff giggling as they watched the Lords and Ladies stare at the tal sticks in confusion.

For Luca wanted a bit of variety by serving different things.

And one of those things was marinated chicken skewers, which were all thanks to the combined efforts of so many people.

Well, she was told that they would also be used for food, but she didn’t envision sothing like this!

Honestly, Luca knew that it could’ve been better if they also had other types of at, but the dungeon owner could not prioritize that expense in good faith when feeding everyone, as it would cost too much for a one-ti thing.

Thankfully, the chickens were big enough to create this many skewers for grilling, especially after they were alternated with red, green, yellow bell peppers, and onions.

And they looked and slled heavenly, too.

It’s just that this ti around, Luca had assigned D-29 and Sid with a very special task. One so important that the little system shifted a bit of his priorities.

The two chas were tasked with monitoring each item’s temperature by scanning it and pointing out which items reached the temperatures noted in the book.

The idea was to attract people’s attention to the item so it could be taken out for feasting. This job ended up making the legendary guardian cha of the empire more popular than ever.

For who would’ve thought that countless war victories would be nothing compared to being surrounded by so many people waiting to know if their food was ready?!
