There was barely a squeak, but Kyle had to sit up after seeing Ollie’s reaction.

"Hey," he murmured, lifting Ollie’s chin. "What’s wrong?"

Hazel eyes blinked up at him, glassy and confused.

The question should’ve been easy to answer. But Ollie wasn’t even sure why he was shedding tears.

Did he feel sad? Angry? No. Not even close.

He was overwheld. His heart kept sorsaulting, and his brain kept thudding like it was being paid for overti. And all because—

He wanted to say it too.

Because he wanted him to hear it and because he wanted to be brave.

So Ollie tried. He opened his mouth. Closed it. Tried again.

Nothing ca out except a puff of air and puffed cheeks.

"I-I..."

Still nothing. And the blonde couldn’t understand why he was having this difficulty now, of all tis?!

Kyle watched, both concerned and chard, as the frustration piled visibly on Ollie’s face, his hair antenna showing clear signs that he was at wits’ end.

Then, without warning, Ollie tugged at Kyle’s collar, yanking him towards him with all the stubborn fire in his little body.

Eyes squeezed shut, he pushed himself up into a kiss—

—except it landed squarely on the poor man’s nose.

"..."

"..?"

"!!!"

"...hm?" Kyle blinked, nose-to-nose with a mortified blond mop who looked like he wanted to evaporate on the spot.

"WHA—?!" Ollie squawked, frozen in horror.

"You missed, but only by a little," Kyle confird with a twitching smile.

"AAAAHH—!" the blonde wailed, already trying to squirm away.

"Too late," Kyle caught him by the waist and the wrists, pulling him right back into his lap.

Their eyes t.

Kyle’s were warm, teasing. "Want a redo?"

Ollie stilled.

He was still mortified, but the determined first tir felt like he would never live it down if he didn’t succeed in this. And so, surprisingly, the teasing adjutant received a nod.

But now what? How does he prepare?

All he really understood were the instructions for the one initiating the kiss—so he tried it earlier, because the part about what the person being kissed was supposed to do? Vague. Frustratingly vague.

But he failed.

So now what? Should he just imitate those from the books?

So he puckered up, nervous and unsure. Just...waiting.

And it was the cutest thing Kyle has seen in a while.

So it would’ve been impossible to let his little star go that easily.

He leaned in, and Ollie felt his movent, his heart ready to leap out of his chest as he was kissed.

On the cheek.

"???"

Ollie made a confused noise.

Then Kyle kissed his nose.

"Wh—?!"

Then his forehead.

"Huh??"

Kyle chuckled. "I’m appreciating the appetizers before the main course. Didn’t Luca teach us about pacing?"

"Y-you!" Ollie squeaked, but the complaints grew more flustered than furious every ti Kyle laid another kiss sowhere else.

And he sure took his ti, gently kissing each spot that made Ollie squirm, every little protest making the experience even sweeter.

Finally, when Ollie’s breath hitched and he went utterly still, the anie cupped his cheek.

So it wasn’t surprising that the mushy star got annoyed, struggling lightly, trying to free himself from Kyle’s arms—but he was too weakened by romance, limbs floppy like rollups that he practically fell onto the man.

Their positions shifted dangerously, and when Ollie’s eyes moved down, he hiccupped at how close they were—noses brushing, breaths mingling.

Then, like gravity had shifted its pull, their faces inched closer, breath catching and stilling. There was a hush in the air, the kind that settled before a storm. Every inch felt magnified—their proximity, the soft rise and fall of breath, the tick of anticipation.

Kyle’s gaze flickered to Ollie’s lips, and Ollie, dizzy from adrenaline and sothing headier, felt himself lean in without aning to. It was instinct. Like sothing older than language, guided by feeling rather than thought.

It touched.

And it was soft.

An actual kiss.

Ollie’s eyes were still open, caught in a daze, like he’d just left the planet.

It was a delicate kiss—warm and tender and heart-thudding. The kind that made ti stretch and shrink all at once.

But really, all it was were lips touching, but to Ollie, it was like an awakening.

When they parted, the blonde’s fingers went to his lips. His eyes were wide with wonder.

"I—my first k-kiss..." he mumbled, barely audible.

Kyle, with a slight flush on his face, smiled at him like he didn’t just nearly send him to the afterlife. "You okay?"

Ollie gave a shaky squeak.

But then Kyle leaned closer, voice low, "Then if you are...Can I have today’s main course?"

Ollie’s mouth gaped. "What?!"

"That wasn’t it already?!"

"Yes...But that was just the first bite."

It was.

Really was.

For when Kyle flipped them over, his back against the bed and the man’s larger fra on him, Ollie realized too late that he was really the full course.

When their lips t again, it was a little bit different.

The chaste kiss he knew from the dia grew into sothing else—sothing real. Sothing electric.

It was exploratory. Soft at first, like a question asked through touch. Then deeper, slower. Like Kyle was trying to morize the shape of his lips, the exact curve, the softness, the sound of his breath.

And Ollie—Ollie couldn’t think. He couldn’t think at all.

His mind, usually loud with thoughts, went quiet. All he could feel was the way Kyle’s fingers brushed the back of his neck, and it made sothing flutter behind his ribs. He made a tiny sound—half gasp, half sigh—and wrapped his arms around Kyle’s neck, clinging like always, but this ti not for comfort. This ti, for more.

The adjutant pulled him closer. Warmth blood in Ollie’s chest and spilled out like molten sugar, sweet and overwhelming.

Their kiss stretched long, lips brushing again and again. Heck, he wasn’t sure if he was doing it correctly, but every ti their breaths mingled, his fingers would curl into Kyle’s shirt and hair like anchors trying their best to keep him grounded.

So even if soone were to tell him this was wrong, he probably wouldn’t care, for it felt so right.

The chanic squird, not to get away, but because everything felt too much. Too much heat, too much closeness, too much Kyle.

And he thought maybe he was floating. Or maybe he just forgot to breathe.

He probably did.

So thankfully, yet regretfully, Kyle pulled back. Ollie gasped softly, his chest rising and falling as if he’d just surfaced from underwater. His eyes were unfocused. His head felt extrely light.

His lips tingled.

He could still feel the man’s breath ghosting against his cheek. Their faces were so close yet neither of them dared to move.

Their eyes t—dazed and hungry—both of them breathless, as if waiting for sothing to drop.

Ollie’s heart thudded like a faulty engine. His lashes fluttered, and his fingers unconsciously clenched the sheets.

But then Kyle made a small movent, and the chanic didn’t miss it—the way his tongue flicked out to wet his lips, slow and languid like temptation itself.

It wasn’t even ant to be seductive. But Ollie felt it anyway—like a jolt down his spine. His breath caught. His cheeks burned. His fingers, still curled in the sheets, twitched as his stomach did an anxious little flip.

Sothing in the air shifted.

Kyle’s heart skipped.

He saw the spark behind Ollie’s gaze—uncertainty tangled with want—and sothing primal twisted low in his chest.

"Another round?" Kyle asked, voice pitched sowhere between a tease and a plea.

And this got the blonde blinking once. Twice. His breath hitched, cheeks glowing a bright red as his eyes darted between Kyle’s lips and eyes. There was hesitation, panic—then resolve. His hands, trembling but determined, reached up to grip Kyle’s lapel. A quick tug.

Yeah. He wanted more.

"Dessert," he whispered.

Their lips crashed once more.

This ti, Ollie moved more, trying to copy how Kyle tilted, how he moved. His kiss was clumsy, eager, and sweet.

He tried.

And Kyle let him explore, let him find his rhythm. Let him learn the taste and feel of his affection.

It wasn’t perfect.

But it was theirs.

Well, theirs until a certain door hissed with a chanical whrr-clunk.

Kyle’s reflexes kicked in imdiately.

In one smooth motion, he shielded Ollie with a blanket, rolled over, and sat up with all the grace of a soldier caught sneaking around after curfew.

Ollie, who had barely processed anything past "dessert," blinked in confusion beneath the sudden cocoon of fabric.

He barely had ti to say "Huh?" before realization dawned.

Oh no.

This wasn’t just any room.

This was his original room.

A shared room.

And unless the building suddenly ca with ghosts, that sound ant only one thing—

His roommate.

"Uh, who are you? What are you doing in my room?" ca the voice, sowhere near the doorway.

Judging from the angle, he probably hadn’t noticed Ollie buried under Kyle’s strategic cuddling defense.

The blonde panicked.

Scrambled.

Nearly kicked the wall trying to sit up and threw the blanket off himself with all the effort of a trapped hamster.

"He’s with !" he said, voice shooting three octaves higher than usual. "He’s my boyfriend!"

There was a pause. A long one.

"...Boyfriend?" his roommate echoed, brows clearly lifted, "Since when?"

"Since now!" Ollie squeaked. "I an—not just now! I an, since earlier. But he’s really my boyfriend! I like him!" he blurted, practically throwing the confession like a grenade, hoping his roommate would understand.

Another beat of silence.

"Uh...okay?" his roommate said, clearly still not sure what cri scene he walked in on. "So...do I have to leave?"

Kyle, now back to looking composed as ever, adjusted his shirt and replied calmly, "No. We were just passing by to get his things. So please stay, we were just about to leave."

Ollie, still sitting upright like a popped jack-in-the-box, blinked. "We were?"

Kyle glanced back and smiled. "Yeah. I have to check if your words would hold."

"Huh?"

"Maybe we’ll notarize it."

"!!!"

Ollie flushed. Bright red after the sudden realization.

His hands covered his face as he slumped forward with a pitiful whine.

Because he had yelled.

In front of his roommate.

That he liked Kyle.

Loudly. When he couldn’t even say it earlier!

And now Kyle was smiling like he’d just won a bet with the universe.
