There was an uproar in the Marshall’s battleship.
Curtis was in the middle of sipping tea in a eting when Eden’s voice bood across the speakers.
"I REPEAT! STAR MALL ERGENCY! USE YOUR OWN ACCOUNTS!"
Curtis spewed his drink before clicking into the shop that had been front and center on his terminal since the day they discovered it.
The normally composed man used all his abilities as a single dog to buy one. He knew he was late because Eden had already blared it out, but with his terrifying hand speed, he managed to get one order of that pre-cut waterlon. He wanted to try for the bigger items, but the quantity was so little it would be gone in the blink of an eye.
And it really felt like that to everyone.
Only the handful of people who refreshed like addicts managed to see it when it dropped.
However, the surprising purchase limit made them redo their orders, and they had no ti to inform their friends and family about it.
By the ti the word got around inside the houses of most people, the store had sold out.
Curtis trembled, almost falling to the floor after the invoice showed his successful order.
Then, he ran out to the command center to see what happened to everyone else.
If anything, that crazy woman, Eden, should’ve gotten sothing, right?
While this was happening, the people were talking in the comnts section. Most people were shocked to see what was supposed to be an updated shop.
[Was I dreaming? Sobody tell if that really happened? Did I just dream of that stock update? Because when I blinked, it was gone!]
[ 1 to the Upstairs comnter, I inhaled, and it all disappeared. I knew I shouldn’t have wasted ti breathing. I could’ve held on for longer!]
[Calling on the officials of Star Mall to explain that lag that prevented from completely buying my order! Who’s supposed to be accountable for this tragedy!]
[Did you see that? There were two new items for sale!]
[What’s a waterlon?]
Unbeknownst to Luca, even when he opted not to sell the giant crops that were really soaked with energy, so items he thought were common were like mysteries to these interstellar people.
[Everyone, my great-grandfather said it existed long before our ti. It was a giant fruit that could feed many people and was very refreshing!]
[Thank you, upstairs comnter, for asking your elders! I am excited to receive the waterlon I managed to grab earlier!]
[!!!]
[Begging you to please show us!]

A series of 1s showed in the comnts, and Jax wondered if he should show his haul to the people since they helped them figure out what he actually bought.
Jax, a moonlighter with A-grade Spiritual powers and an S-grade physique, chanced upon the shop update by accident.
When he ca to it, he had used his physical abilities and cha piloting hand speed to secure 1 of the 10 whole waterlons.
But he didn’t know what he actually bought. He just knew that this was the shop they had to monitor, so anything should be good, right?
So, when people replied to his question, he was grateful and wanted to share the good news (apparently).
Just then, Kyle walked into their dorm room with their Captain in tow. Both looked annoyed and dejected.
"This was even faster than last ti! How were we supposed to buy at such lightning speeds? And really, that Star Mall, what kind of servers do they have?!" Kyle wanted to throw himself into his bed in frustration but felt like the Captain would make him eat dirt.
"Tell the ministry to do an audit. Such lag spikes couldn’t be tolerated, not for sothing this crucial."
"Find out who is responsible and hold them accountable if necessary," Xavier added.
"What’s wrong? Why do you both look angry?"
"That mysterious shop updated with products, but there was no notification, so we missed our chance to get one!" Kyle gritted his teeth, rembering how he nearly died when that barbell fell on him as he was bench-pressing when the update happened.
The spotter couldn’t be blad because the fruits were really a matter of life and death, and with his S-rank physique, he had better quit the military if he had perished from a barbell alone.
"!"
"Oh yeah! I saw that! Sorry, I only managed to get one. The other buyers were really determined."
"!!!"
Two heads looked to the side sharply as if they heard sothing explosive, and Jax felt like he had said sothing wrong again!
"What?"
"You’re telling YOU got to buy one?" Kyle used his hands to demonstrate, pointing a finger at Jax in utter disbelief.
"Yeah! I only got one whole waterlon. Sorry, I know we used apples, but that was the closest item to my dominant hand."
"THIS SON OF A GUN! You finally made us proud!" Kyle exclaid while lunging at Jax, who was dumbfounded by why this guy was cursing him.
"Who would’ve thought that of all people, it would be Jax who could get it?!" Kyle started laughing like a madman, and even the Captain’s expression softened, hinting at a sly smirk.
"Good job. It seems like you succeeded in getting the largest item for sale."
The three celebrated, and Jax was happy to do sothing right! He vowed to be more diligent in checking next ti since it was rare for these two people to treat him this great.
While the people of the Empire were either celebrating or ranting (mostly ranting), Luca was waiting for the orders to arrive. Because of the pre-cut waterlon, he couldn’t ship it the next day.
So, he purposely uploaded in the afternoon, hoping that so of the orders would co in before he went to bed.
But the guy barely got to change his clothes when D-29 alerted him that the store had been sold out.
"Wait, what? Didn’t we just literally finish restocking?" Luca looked at his partially changed clothes and thought that it couldn’t have been for more than 5 minutes outside of his space.
And it really wasn’t. It just took a bit of ti for the orders to be confird in the seller’s portal.
Luca couldn’t dwell on that right now because he had to rush over to send the packages.
Thankfully, with the space button feature, he didn’t have to lug around all his products and just had to store them all on the space button for the drone to assess and distribute.
That sa day, people were surprised to receive orders that would normally arrive the day after purchase.
And those on the sa planet received theirs first.
The soldiers in the Marshal’s battleship gathered together as Eden was called to receive a package.
By now, they’ve learned that the woman managed to get one of each item, proving to all of them that Eden would always be their best tech specialist.
What single dog hand speed? Have you seen the fingers of a single woman?
Eden walked towards the mail room like she was on a red carpet about to receive an award. Even the marshal was there to witness the arrival of the important delivery.
However, even as she prepared for what was to co, there was just no way for anyone to prepare for what the drone spewed out.
