Now reading: Chapter 778: Pride on the Parade Road from The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL], a Yaoi novel by Kairie.

Surprisingly, it was a sentint shared by so many netizens, yet in the crowd just by the parade path, one grandmother had her hands clasped together as she tried to contain her joy, gratitude, and pride.

But it beca difficult the mont she focused and saw a figure flipping down before landing low and rising smoothly.

"!!!"

How could she not grip her son, who was beside her?

"It is him. It is Noah," she said breathlessly, right as the smoke cleared to reveal a familiar yet unfamiliar face.

Ah. He had really co so far.

For before her was the sa grandson she had raised since infancy. The sa child who had grown up cynical and wary of the world. And yet, looking at him now with that relaxed expression and sense of belonging on his face as he walked with his head held high and his eyes bright with spark, how could a grandmother not feel overwheld?

It had been one fateful eting, and yet from then on, their lives, especially Noah’s, had changed.

Being invited to co to the capital to watch a mber of their family take the sa stage and the sa path as these people was sothing they, who had only been focused on survival, had never thought possible.

Of course she had hoped for such a thing for Noah, which was why she encouraged him to attend the Royal Military Academy even when they had to struggle to give him better opportunities. But the child had grown too wary and had long stopped entertaining the idea of dreams.

And yet, since joining a school guild, even when he was back ho, Noah would wake up earlier than everyone with that determined look, as if he were going to do sothing life-changing that day.

He never talked much about what he had been doing at school. He only said that from now on everything would be okay.

He had been right. In truth, it was more than okay.

Then they received a letter of invitation, passes, and accommodations from Young Lord Luca Kyros for the expo, saying that Noah would be part of it and that it would be wonderful if they could co and watch.

And how thankful she was to witness this with her own eyes.

Her sentint was sothing another family echoed.

But if the Emorys were emotional, the Belgraves were even deeper into it as people who had interacted with the guild directly.

Talen Belgrave stood next to his mother and his son Kael as they watched with great anticipation for the youngest child who had blood so much in recent months.

Catching Theo had been extrely difficult, but no one in their family ntioned it because the boy would return and leave with such a big smile on his face that they began to wonder if sothing strange was happening to the students of today.

Then again, with what they had seen before, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say that Theo was indeed experiencing sothing extrely unusual. And how fortunate they all were for the opportunity to be a part of sothing so life-changing.

Heck, Kael Belgrave didn’t even recognize the cadet who had just perford what should have been an impossible stunt for soone who used to stumble even when simply walking forward.

And yet, look at that!

There was simplicity in his landing. Nothing too fancy. Nothing outrageous. And yet it was still so much like Theo, who enjoyed being himself.

However, his family thought it was groundbreaking because they never imagined that their youngest would do sothing insane and in front of the whole Empire at that.

They were proud and extrely happy for him.

It was just that they didn’t realize the hushed popularity of the child until it was revealed that the Pharmacy departnt students had long squirreled away photos of Theo as their good luck charms.

As the youngest and only freshman mber from the pharmacy departnt, Theo Belgrave had apparently been carrying the hopes and dreams of their entire division.

So much so that when later clips and photos of the parade were reposted, an unexpected clip of Theo pushing up his glasses as he walked with his mbers kept circulating everywhere.

But how could it not, when his simple movent was frad so well in the stream that he looked like he had already discovered the fountain of youth.

__

However, the strength behind their simple yet morable moves was not the only thing highlighted by each mber’s descent.

Because right at the end of the parade road, several groups were quickly realizing the oddity of this guild.

Individuality.

Unlike the rest, which showcased their homogeneity through perfectly coordinated formations, this guild highlighted the differences among its mbers, almost as if celebrating them.

Wordless glances were shared as guilds and delegation mbers tried to make sense of the existence of the guild called DG.

They were admittedly taken aback by all this.

Normally, the other races that dominated the Astral Cup finals never really thought much about the human guilds. Not because of particular reasons but because they were aware that without their machines they were particularly weak.

Who would need to invest so much ti on them when they weren’t exactly considered a threat in the Astral Cup.

Oh, but they did know about guilds like the Silver Serpents who did manage to reach the finals. They just didn’t expect to encounter one more human guild that would deserve a second look.

However, that didn’t an they were entirely clueless about DG when they were always featured on Star Net.

But that was it.

They knew a bit about that guild because they had been popular for so many other reasons. Admittedly, they never considered looking into their actual profiles and pegged them as a trading guild at best.

So they didn’t really expect them to show up like that. More importantly, no one expected this from a guild with so few mbers.

Big mistake, apparently.

Yet they couldn’t just talk amongst themselves because there were caras everywhere, and they couldn’t crash out for the whole universe to see.

They had to maintain composure even if several mbers felt the need to rush and use their terminals to investigate.

They would talk and research later. They had to or they wouldn’t be able to sleep with all their botherso questions.

Because if that incident with Zone Four was real, could DG really have participated in that combat-wise?

Also, what about that insane amount of spiritual energy earlier?

Moreover, what was up with their entrance?

And seven mbers. Do they only have seven mbers?

Well, apparently not.

Because their spiraling thoughts stopped when they noticed the Orcs in the sa area stiffen.

So foreign delegates were confused, but not the student guilds who had been anticipating this.

Because the next two figures arrived, and the shift was imdiate.
