After Luca’s mood improved following the sudden grace of 100 million Star coins, he eventually accepted his earlier misfortune and lack of knowledge.

For a mont, Luca considered closing the shop, but when he rembered so of the comnts and the people’s gratitude, he felt it would be a selfish move.

The budding businessman decided to ask more about the things the Star Net couldn’t teach him. And thankfully, they just kept on enlightening him while answering questions that should’ve been common knowledge.

He played the sheltered card when he started noticing their odd expressions. Technically, it didn’t match the popular gossip, but as people who were usually gossiped about, Xavier and Ollie understood how most gossip could be far from the truth—just like this one.

Anywhere Ollie looked, all he could see was a skittish animal who even now wanted to keep his store as a way for the people to have access to life-saving goods.

"Luca, would you like to set up a company to facilitate your business?" Asked Xavier.

"A company?" Luca asked curiously.

"Yeah, that way you could easily justify your products and have a front as cover for your identity. Your fruits alone shook the Empire, and people would definitely be looking for you." Ollie explained, and Xavier had to agree because the military nearly went nuts trying to look for him.

"For cooperation." Xavier had to ask because both guys shivered from their toes at the ntion of the military—As if they weren’t training to be soldiers themselves!

"They’re looking to cooperate? With ?" Luca pointed to himself, not understanding what they could possibly want from him unless they needed the help of the duchy.

Luca wondered why Xavier spoke as if he had been there for a long ti when they were the sa age. However, Luca realized that many of the Junior Academy students participated in the missions out of sheer need.

It seems like he really wasn’t cut out to be a soldier. Luca sighed, and that sohow amused Xavier. He had co to realize that Luca’s mind functioned differently.

"Worst case scenario, just show them your ring. Do that when nothing else works." Xavier was about to explain just how to do that when Ollie suddenly rembered sothing he could contribute.

"Luca! What about doing an auction to actually make money?" Ollie’s eyes glinted as he talked about his favorite thing, money-making.

"Maybe we’ll say that you sold the fruits like that for promotion and proof. Then you can sell other products at the store while auctioning a few to make a sizeable profit!"

The premise sounded promising! But Luca didn’t know how auctions worked and had to ask for guidance.

"! Our family owns auction houses, and I could probably help you sell it anonymously!" Ollie was excited about the prospects of making money for Luca because his brother looked very happy at the ntion of making bank!

With this, Luca’s financial freedom was probably within reach! He just had to iron out a few things, like what to actually sell!

Luca really appreciated Ollie and Xavier. One volunteered to get his goods into the auction house, while the other was going to set up a company for him.

Obviously, Luca was wrong in judging Xavier before. The generator was really a good person! He didn’t think this was what it ant to be responsible at all! So, he figured he would also be responsible and help him with the military issue!

D-29 figured its Host was thinking of grander plans now. With all these new ways of doing business, they would need more goods.

Luca totally forgot about that and realized he had not asked how much was needed to reach Level 2.

When Luca found out that he only needed 100,000CP, he felt bad because, at one point, he had managed to save up 94,100CP. Luca asked D-29 to remind him about it later, but for now, maybe he’d avoid telling them about the specifics of his space.

Eventually, they had to leave the space, particularly Ollie, who had to return to the school with the people he ca there with. He just reminded Luca to send a ssage to the people of the duchy because they were worried.

Luca was surprised to learn how Ollie got there and was touched to know that people were looking for him. He never really bothered to inform anyone because he was used to going at it alone.

That afternoon, while officials were trying to understand the gravity of the situation, several groups received ssages about their safety. For one particular group, it sounded more like proof of life.

By now, Kyle’s anxiety was at its peak. Although he received a ssage about his Captain’s alleged safety, he saw that a transaction had been made right after he linked the accounts.

Due to privacy restrictions, he wouldn’t be able to see what the Captain was using his funds for, but he knew that his frugal boss was unlikely to spend money!

And why would he be spending money after fighting off an ancient spider?

Nothing made sense to Kyle, and Jax could only watch as his friend assud the worst of their Captain.
