Now reading: Chapter 32: Elias’s Sincerity from The Seductive Pretty Boy of the Matriarchal World, a Fantasy novel by WarySeer.

A few minutes after Giselle Frost left, Elias Kane finally realized sothing—he had exposed himself and even cried in front of her, yet she hadn’t added even 1% favorability?

He used to think Liora Voss was stingy, but there was no most stingy, only stingier!

Elias couldn’t help doubting his own charm. Was he even the male lead of this world? How could Giselle have zero reaction to his body?

Maybe the pitiful crying didn’t work on her?

Then next ti... he’d cry more seductively?

Elias put on Giselle’s jacket, climbed onto the bed, grabbed the remote to turn on the TV and the AC, and lay there enjoying himself.

He didn’t have morning classes, so he could lounge here until the afternoon.

Mainly to avoid heading straight back to campus and running into her—it would make it seem like he’d adjusted his mindset way too fast.

Leaning back against the soft pillow, Elias aimlessly flipped through TV channels while tilting his head slightly to catch the faint, subtle fragrance clinging to the jacket.

This was sothing she wore all the ti, so the scent was probably her body scent?

It suited her personality perfectly—cool and refreshing.

Just then, Elias’s finger on the remote suddenly stopped. He stared at the elegant, regal woman on the screen, a spark of interest in his eyes.

It was a movie about a woman rising from an ordinary commoner to beco empress of an empire. The plot wasn’t particularly original, and due to the runti, many parts were summarized in narration. The conquest scenes, however, were depicted in great detail—grand, majestic, with the brutality of war portrayed ticulously.

But that wasn’t what drew Elias in. What captivated him was solely one thing: the empress—or rather, the actress playing her. Her performance was flawless; he couldn’t find a single fault. It felt like she wasn’t acting but truly embodying the role, recounting her own magnificent life as ruler.

The final scene froze on the empress’s majestic face, her sharp eyes seeming to pierce through the screen straight into every viewer’s heart.

Elias let out a slow breath and smiled slightly. "Solid acting. I’d give it a ten."

[System Theta: That high?]

"Out of a hundred."

[System Theta: ...]

"Though it was really good, it still can’t compare to ." Elias stretched lazily and asked, "If I’m not mistaken, that’s Seraphina Hale, right?"

"Yeah."

Elias: "She’s actually this beautiful."

He had thought Giselle was already the pinnacle of looks among those ice queens, but Seraphina had surprised him again. As expected of the film empress—not only were her skills top-notch, her appearance was one in a billion.

Thankfully veteran actors didn’t rely on looks, or when acting opposite her, no matter how skilled, the gap would make it seem to casual audiences like they couldn’t carry the scenes with her.

As for other pretty stars, they weren’t even worth ntioning in front of Seraphina. They couldn’t match her acting, and even their al-ticket looks fell short. It was pure dinsionality reduction.

After watching Seraphina’s performance, a surge of enthusiasm suddenly hit Elias. He felt an urgent need to do sothing, so...

He rolled over on the bed, lay on his stomach, and pulled out his phone. "From now on, I’m Seraphina Hale’s fan!"

The system saw Elias follow her and even send her a private ssage, hesitating. "She won’t see the ssage if you send it."

Elias didn’t care. "I don’t expect her to see it. Chasing stars is about making yourself happy."

As if. He was setting up a fan persona for Seraphina in advance—just in case it ca in handy later.

He always prepared thoroughly.

Plus, he did genuinely like her looks. He hadn’t seen her in other roles, but she had brought the empress to life so perfectly it was like the real deal. If one day when they were exploring the mysteries of life, she was wearing her imperial robes and coldly commanded him to "Lie down"...

[System Theta: Why did you suddenly lie down?]

Elias giggled and climbed off the bed.

It was getting late. Ti for class.

"Oh, right." Elias suddenly thought of sothing and tapped open his phone.

...

After class, it was already afternoon—pri alti. Following the mory of Liora Voss picking him up and then bumping into Giselle, Elias arrived right on ti at the tree-lined path, Giselle’s usual route. He stood under a tree, striking a good-looking pose.

No need to look pitiful this ti, so no ugly squatting.

Giselle seed to have her own schedule and sure enough appeared at exactly this ti.

"Giselle!" Elias called out, jogging toward her.

Hearing the familiar voice, Giselle stopped and looked over.

She saw Elias wearing her jacket, holding a cute pink lunchbox, his face showing a hint of excitent as he ca up to her.

"Giselle, have you eaten? If not... this is for you."

As he spoke, Elias held out the lunchbox in his hands.

In an instant, Giselle understood exactly what he was doing.

Her eyes lowered as she asked knowingly, "What is this?"

"Ah? Oh... this, um, I made it myself. Since you’ve helped so many tis, I thought I should do sothing for you too, so..." Elias seed nervous, his words coming out hesitant. "I didn’t know what you like. Besides studying, I only know how to cook, so I took the liberty of making so. Uh, yeah..."

By the end, the boy was practically incoherent.

Giselle looked up at him. Maybe because he had rushed over right after cooking to catch her, he was breathing a little hard, with fine sweat on his forehead and flushed cheeks. It actually looked kind of cute.

So he wasn’t completely useless.

"Okay." Giselle reached out and took the lunchbox.

[Giselle Frost favorability increased. Current: 16%.]

As if he couldn’t believe she had actually accepted his food, Elias’s eyes widened slightly, then filled with surprise and joy. His now-empty hands fidgeted in front of him, twisting together.

After a mont, he lightly bit his lip, waved at her, and said softly, "Then I’ll head off. Thank you so much, Giselle..."

With that, he turned and jogged away.

Once out of her sight, Elias felt pleased. "Finally got that 1% favorability."

Sure enough, following up while the iron was hot worked.

Suddenly, the system said in surprise, "[System Theta: Host, she threw your lunchbox in the trash!]"

Elias’s expression didn’t change. "If she threw it, she threw it. I knew she wouldn’t eat it."

Even so, the system sounded angry. "But you worked so hard to make it. How could she..."

"Who said I made it?" Elias brushed a strand of golden hair behind his ear and smiled faintly. "It was takeout. I just bought a cute pink lunchbox with that boyish charm and transferred the food into it."

He never did anything pointless.
