Now reading: The Campaign of Shadows from The Shadow of Draconia, a Action novel by Ash.

The world had barely recovered from the Grand International Battle Tournant, yet the shadows of Draconia had already begun to stretch beyond Aurelius. Kingdoms that had survived the tournant’s spectacle now faced the reality of Sonar Von Draconia’s ambition.

[Empire Status: Global Influence – Expanding.]

[Target Kingdoms: Five Neighboring States – Imdiate Action.]

Sonar stood atop the black spire of Talyndor, eyes scanning maps glowing with magical projections. Each kingdom marked in red represented a target for swift integration into the Draconia Empire.

“We shall move before hesitation gives them courage,” Sonar said, voice cold and precise. “Fear is most effective when it is imdiate, visible, and irreversible.”

The Executioners Mobilize

The 10 Draconic Executioners prepared to lead the campaign personally:

Korrak would spearhead the invasion forces, breaking fortresses and armies alike.

Draven and Xyrris would flank and decimate enemy commanders before resistance could organize.

Selene would neutralize enemy mages and magical defenses with precise chains of binding.

Nyssara would sabotage supply lines and intelligence networks, leaving kingdoms blind and vulnerable.

Kaelen’s undead legions would create chaos in rear positions, cutting off reinforcents.

Thalrik would oversee fortifications and safe zones, ensuring Draconian forces faced no counterattack.

Veyra and Seraphis would manipulate political factions, ensuring nobles either submitted or vanished.

Morgrath flew above, shadowing armies and inspiring terror, a living on of the emperor’s will.

[Executioner Deploynt: 100% – Battle Ready.]

Kingdom of Veylora – First Target

The first kingdom to face Draconia was Veylora, a proud state with a sizable army and fortified capital. Its king, arrogant from years of isolation, underestimated the Draconia Empire.

Veylora’s forces mobilized, banners waving proudly, believing that discipline and numbers could repel invaders.

But Draconia struck before dawn, Morgrath’s roar signaling the beginning of the campaign.

The battlefield erupted:

Korrak smashed through gates with his imnse strength, leading Draconia’s infantry in a tidal wave of destruction.

Xyrris unleashed elental storms, reducing formations to ash.

Selene immobilized mages mid-cast, turning their spells against their own soldiers.

Kaelen’s skeletal legions erged from hidden forests, attacking supply lines and terrifying reinforcents.

Nyssara assassinated commanders with deadly precision, leaving chaos in every corner.

Within hours, Veylora’s capital fell. Its king surrendered personally to Sonar, bowing in reluctant obedience.

“Rember this,” Sonar said, eyes black as night.

“Draconia shows rcy only once. Serve, or be erased from history.”

Swift Campaign Across Borders

The campaign continued with unprecedented speed:

Eldoria, Talyndor’s neighbor, fell under combined Executioner assault within two days.

Mireval’s army disintegrated under Nyssara and Xyrris’s coordinated strikes.

Korrath and Veylar capitulated after facing undead incursions and Selene’s magical suppression.

Each victory was absolute. Draconia’s armies moved with perfect coordination, Executioners leading with unmatched skill and precision. Rumors spread across distant lands:

“The Draconia Empire annihilates resistance without hesitation.”

“Even fortified cities crumble under their shadow.”

“Sonar himself commands fate, death, and loyalty.”

Aftermath: The Empire Expands

By the campaign’s end:

Five kingdoms had submitted or been integrated into Draconia.

Citizens whispered the empire’s na with trembling reverence.

Nobles either pledged allegiance or disappeared silently under Executioner orders.

The world began to understand the truth: resistance was futile; obedience was survival.

Sonar stood atop Morgrath’s wings, surveying the lands. Black fire traced the borders of the new territories, a warning to those who still dared to resist.

“Fear teaches obedience,” Sonar said, voice calm yet lethal.

“Respect enforces order. Worship ensures loyalty. And the world… will kneel, willingly or not. This is the age of Draconia.”

The campaign of shadows had begun. The Draconia Empire’s na would be feared in every corner of the known world, and the Executioners had cented their role as extensions of Sonar’s will.
