"Your Majesty, we will enter the Central Region of Heaven shortly." An announcent from one of the staff could be heard from outside Aldrian’s cabin.
Aldrian, who was still cultivating, slowly opened his eyes and took a deep breath. He stood up, walked toward the door, and opened it.
One of the staff mbers was already waiting outside and bowed slightly.
"Your Majesty," he greeted.
Aldrian responded with a nod.
"How much longer do we need?"
"Ten minutes, Your Majesty," the staff mber answered.
They walked toward the control room. When they arrived, Aldrian stood and looked at the screen that displayed the scenery outside the vessel.
The only thing visible was the wormhole.
This had been the sa sight the crew had watched for an entire year during their journey.
Now they were finally about to arrive at the region of space where no one dared to enter.
They were the first people who were not devil cultivators to enter it after who knows how many years.
Tense and nervous expressions could be seen on every crew mber’s face. Their hands trembled slightly, and sweat rolled down their foreheads.
However, they had a mission to bring Aldrian to the Central Region of Heaven.
They were ready for whatever might greet them when they ca out of the wormhole.
Even if it ant death.
Still, they could not suppress their anticipation. They would be the ones entering this region of heaven after it had been occupied by the devils for so long.
Inside the vessel they controlled was a person who might bring change and perhaps create another legend that would be rembered by all beings in the First Heaven. A person they truly respected and believed could succeed in bringing that change.
After waiting for a while, one of the operators finally gave another report.
"Two minutes until we co out of the wormhole."
Aldrian continued looking at the screen. After a mont, he finally spoke.
"Alright. I will move to the gathering deck. After we co out of the wormhole, you do not need to worry about . Turn the vessel around imdiately and return to Revitas. Ti is important here. We do not want to be seen by any devils after we exit the wormhole."
Aldrian then smiled.
"I pray for your safe journey back. Thank you for your hard work and for accompanying on this journey."
The operators and staff turned their heads to look at Aldrian with touched expressions. They bowed without delay.
"Your Majesty, we wish you a safe journey ahead. We pray for your success in whatever you seek to achieve in the Central Region of Heaven. We believe you can bring change to the entire First Heaven," the staff mber who had accompanied Aldrian earlier said.
Aldrian nodded with a smile.
"Thank you."
He then turned and left the control room.
"Then I will wait in the gathering deck," he said.
He walked with steady steps until he reached the gathering deck, a vast space inside the vessel. This was the place where large numbers of people could gather, such as thousands of troops.
His calm gaze rested on the large hatch usually used for embarking or disembarking.
He waited.
Soon an announcent echoed throughout the vessel.
"We will exit the wormhole in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."
Aldrian could feel the vessel quickly decelerate before it finally ca to a stop. Without hesitation, he teleported outside the vessel. The vast space of the Central Region of Heaven imdiately ca into view.
He then turned to look at the interstellar vessel behind him, which had already begun making a U-turn to return to Revitas.
A smile appeared on his face as he looked toward the vessel. His face could be seen on the screen inside the control room. All of the operators and staff gave one final salute before the vessel flew away and quickly entered the wormhole once again.
After they disappeared, Aldrian’s expression returned to calm.
He began observing his surroundings more carefully.
He had finally arrived in the Central Region of Heaven.
The first thing that drew his attention after leaving the vessel was a massive phenonon in the far distance.
What he saw looked like a giant black hole with bright light emanating from its enormous body. The light ford a pillar whose height could not be asured. Even when Aldrian lifted his head and tried to see the top of the pillar, he still could not see where it ended.
However, Aldrian was not surprised.
He already knew that the pillar of light connected to the Second Heaven. That black hole and the entire pillar were the true center of heaven.
It was the place where those immortals could descend.
It was also his main destination.
If he wanted to make the entire First Heaven his domain, then he would have to create his domain in that region of the black hole.
Although he could already see his true destination, he knew he was still quite far from it.
If not for the fact that the vessel he used could be detected by the devils lurking everywhere, he would have asked the crew to bring him closer to the black hole.
According to the Vampire King’s mories, the area around the black hole was guarded by many powerful devils. The nearby worlds were also places where countless powerful devils resided.
The Central Region of Heaven’s security was tight and extrely dangerous.
He did not want to endanger the ones who had bravely brought him here. That was why it was enough for him to be dropped at the edge of the region.
He took a deep breath and looked to the side.
In the distance, he could see two interstellar vessels flying toward his direction. He guessed they were part of a group of patrol. The place where he floated now seed to be along their patrol route.
Fortunately, the vessel that had brought him here had already left the area. Those devils would not know that a foreign vessel had just arrived monts ago.
Aldrian’s expression did not change. He had already used his concealnt technique, making his presence impossible for the devils to detect.
He then created his domain here and remained there quietly, waiting for the vessels to approach.
When the vessels entered his domain, he imdiately teleported inside one of them.
He appeared in a hallway where no devils were passing by. He could sense that most of the devils were gathered in other parts of the vessel.
He decided to walk toward the control room.
As he moved closer, he passed several devil cultivators along the way. At one point, he even saw debauched scenes in the hallway as devils of the opposite sex fucked with each other openly.
This was a place without sha or morals, and the sight did not surprise him.
After he reached the door to the control room, he teleported inside. He could see the operators and the captain of the vessel.
The captain was a young-looking man with pale skin and the cultivation of a middle Pseudo-Immortal Establishnt stage. He sat on the captain’s seat with a bored expression.
"Sector 5A is clear. There is nothing unusual. We did not sense anything."
"Continue moving to 5B."
Aldrian said nothing and simply observed the devils as they worked. The captain did nothing other than watch the screen displaying the vast space outside.
After an hour of flying, the vessel finally entered a wormhole. A few minutes later, they ca out of it.
They appeared near a world covered in a red hue.
Its size was not as large as Revitas, but the sight reminded Aldrian of how the Red Mist Star of the Northern Star Cluster looked in the past.
The vessel descended toward the world, and after a few monts it landed smoothly in one of the designated landing areas.
The captain left the control room, and Aldrian decided to follow him.
They passed many devils who were also beginning to disembark from the vessel.
When Aldrian stepped outside of the vessel, he finally saw the world that had been under devil occupation for eons.
A red-hued atmosphere covered the entire planet, and the concentration of negative energy here was even stronger than that of the Red Mist Star.
Aldrian had no doubt that invading this place would be far more difficult than the Red Mist Star in the past. With such dense negative energy, it would be much easier for it to corrupt a person’s mind.
They had landed near what appeared to be a city.
The city was heavily damaged, and Aldrian understood that it was a remnant of the civilization that existed before the devils occupied this world.
Ruins could be seen everywhere, yet the devils had not bothered to repair them.
For them, appearance did not matter. As long as they had a place to stay, that was enough.
The captain entered the city, and Aldrian could see the activities of the devils here. This was the first ti he had entered a city full of devils without imdiately destroying it.
The sight in front of him was nothing unusual.
Chaos filled the streets.
Scenes of devils fighting, fucking with each other openly, and committing other outrageous acts unfolded before his eyes.
Aldrian ignored them and continued following the captain, who was walking toward one of the posts where he usually reported after finishing a patrol.
However, when they passed a small alley, Aldrian decided to act.
In an instant, both Aldrian and the captain disappeared.
None of the nearby devils noticed the captain’s disappearance, as everyone around them was busy with their own activities.
A few minutes later, the captain suddenly walked out of the alley and continued toward his destination as if nothing had happened.
