Hua Manman handed the copied characters to Prince Zhao.

Li Ji’s gaze swept over them, and his eyes were imdiately assaulted by her hideous handwriting.

He remarked with heartfelt sincerity,

"I never imagined soone could write so... surreally."

Hua Manman knew her handwriting wasn’t very good.

She fiddled with the hem of her clothes and said, embarrassed, "I’ve embarrassed myself, Your Highness."

Li Ji casually tossed the stack of paper aside and beckoned to Hua Manman, signaling for her to co closer.

Hua Manman obediently walked over. "What are your orders, Your Highness..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Prince Zhao grabbed her arm and yanked her into his embrace.

His movent was so sudden that Hua Manman was completely caught off guard.

By the ti she realized what was happening, she was already sitting on Prince Zhao’s lap.

The position was far too intimate.

Hua Manman was quite frightened and tried to stand, but Prince Zhao held her in place with a single arm.

His large hand clamped around her slender waist with an irresistible force, preventing her from getting up.

Li Ji said in a low voice, "Don’t move."

Hua Manman could only suppress the panic in her heart and ask dryly,

"What is Your Highness doing?"

Li Ji found her reaction amusing and was struck with the desire to tease her.

He lifted his right hand. His fingers brushed past the base of her ear, caressing the skin of her neck. At the sa ti, he lowered his head, blew a soft breath by her ear, and spoke in a low, suggestive voice.

"What do you think I want to do?"

A tingling numbness spread through Hua Manman’s ear, and the spot he was caressing was unbearably itchy.

Her cheeks flushed involuntarily as she pushed back shyly.

"Your Highness, please don’t. It wouldn’t be good if soone saw us."

But inside, she was screaming frantically—

’Aaaah!

What is Prince Zhao trying to do?

Don’t tell he saw and now wants to get up to no good?!

I’m just a fifteen-year-old baby! No way, I can’t do it!’

Hearing her inner thoughts, Li Ji laughed out loud.

Hua Manman was completely dumbfounded.

’What’s he laughing at?

He’s so strange. His moods are completely unpredictable.’

When Li Ji had finished laughing, he finally said, "You really are interesting."

He turned Hua Manman around so her back was pressed against his chest, then took her right hand from behind.

Under his guidance, Hua Manman picked up the calligraphy brush on the desk and began to write on the spread-out rice paper.

She was writing the very characters she had copied a hundred tis that day.

It was only then that Hua Manman realized Prince Zhao wasn’t trying to get frisky in broad daylight—he was going to teach her calligraphy personally.

She felt deeply ashad.

’It’s my own dirty mind. This is my fault.’

Li Ji released her hand and tapped a finger on the blank rice paper beside them, signaling for her to write it herself.

Hua Manman asked cautiously,

"Could I perhaps move sowhere else?"

’Writing calligraphy while sitting on a man’s lap feels so weird.’

Li Ji retorted, "Why move? Do you find my lap uncomfortable to sit on?"

How was Hua Manman supposed to answer that?

It seed like any answer would be wrong.

In the end, she could only shut her mouth resentfully, pretend she hadn’t said anything, and obediently start writing.

Li Ji leaned back, his gaze roaming over the woman’s back.

Her head was lowered, and the thin fabric of her clothes clung to her back, faintly outlining her beautiful shoulder blades. Her long hair was tied up, revealing a slender neck as fair as snow.

Li Ji had seen many beauties in his ti, of all shapes and sizes.

But none were as unique as the woman before him.

He lifted his right hand, and his cool, pale fingers traced a light path down the nape of her neck.

Hua Manman’s hand trembled, and the ink from her brush smudged.

The character was ruined.
