If she hadn’t been drunk, Feng Yun wouldn’t have said such things.

Yesterday’s matters were as good as dead; she shouldn’t have asked.

But what she couldn’t say sober, the drunken Feng Yun could.

"You betrayed ." Her eyes heated with emotion, she angrily lunged at his solid chest, teeth gritted, almost wild, "Why did you betray ..."

She knew she was overreacting, but alcohol was an excellent catalyst, fiercely stirring her nerves, beyond her control, compelling her to act out.

As her punches landed on his body, Pei Jue reached out to restrain her, but his palm landed precisely on the wound at her waist, causing her to hiss in pain, nearly dropping tears.

"So cruel. After all these years, you haven’t changed..."

Feng Yun looked at the man, whose eyes held an unwavering coldness, and murmured a laugh.

"You really are an, quite skilled at bullying others..."

There was no response; Pei Jue seed to frown.

Seeing his wooden-stump-like reaction, Feng Yun rembered.

He didn’t like too much intimacy...

From the first ti she shared his bed, he treated her like an object—used her and left, never showing any affection.

Hate welled up in Feng Yun’s heart, and with a cold scoff, she threw herself onto him, hugging his sturdy waist tightly, imperable as a seal, and commanded with a domineering, alcohol-laden voice.

"Hold ! Hold tight."

Pei Jue’s body tensed suddenly, a tsunami-like fla surging in his eyes. His hands finally landed on her shoulders, about to push her away, but Feng Yun slipped into his arms, clinging tightly, "You ca because you missed , didn’t you?"

The coquettish shoulders under his hand felt as heavy as a thousand pounds, impossible to push away. The man slightly leaned back to avoid her disordered advances.

"She can’t satisfy you, can she?" Feng Yun stared into his icy eyes, her smile malicious, "You pity her delicate body, can’t bear to touch her... but you’re willing with ..."

The room was dimly lit, utterly silent.

Feng Yun couldn’t see his furrowed brow, but emboldened by the alcohol, she indignantly voiced her grievances, her words jumbled and disjointed.

"I’ve already left, you abandoned , I completed you both, why can’t you let go? Do you want dead... Would that satisfy you?"

The man’s face was frosty, as if cast in iron.

Seeing this, Feng Yun grew even angrier.

"Cold as ice, heartless. Won’t speak, will you? I’ll force you to say it..." Feng Yun stared intently at him, suddenly letting out a cold laugh, wickedly grabbing Pei Jue’s clothes and pulling him towards her, then sliding down expertly to grab his vitals.

"Are you still pretending... huh?"

A numbness spread across Pei Jue’s lower back, the large fra montarily stiff. Feng Yun smiled, as if both surprised and unsurprised, a hint of coquettishness slowly spreading across her face.

"I knew it... you are such a person... even though you don’t like ... you can still... get hard... hard... hard for !"

"Let go!" Pei Jue’s breath halted, his deep voice, made hoarse by the alcohol, carried a husky impatience.

He was angry.

It was always like this.

But at this mont, Feng Yun was not afraid of him.

No matter how angry or upset he got, he was helpless against her. His frantic restraint only made him suffer more, which delighted Feng Yun even more. Unable to see his face clearly, she built on her familiarity with his body, listening to his labored breathing, her smile growing even brighter than before.

"It’s been a long ti since I left; has anyone touched here?"

"Feng Family Ayun!" Pei Jue looked down at her, struggling to breathe deeply, his eyes exuding an intimidating pressure, his handso face especially sinister and frightening at that mont, as if he would chop her up if she didn’t stop.

However, Feng Yun couldn’t discern anything clearly; she was battling her own delusions.

"Why don’t you call ’waist’ anymore... ’Little waist’... ’Waist’... It sounds so nice..."

Pei Jue’s back was quickly drenched by sweat, transitioning from ice cold to blazing heat in an instant. His nefarious hand, wanton and unrestrained, the soft body pressing against him, plump and enticing, seductive in every way, he was so agitated he couldn’t stop trembling, the veins on his forehead bursting, his Adam’s apple rolling.

"If you continue this nonsense, I’ll..."

"What? What will you do?" Feng Yun asked, sly and fox-like.

"" The long silence was broken only by the man’s heavy breathing.

Feng Yun, relentless in her laughter, released her naughtiness thoroughly with the help of alcohol, "Speak! Say it! I want to hear..."

Having experienced life and love in her past life, in this life, she was no longer a naive girl. Pei Jue’s sinfully attractive body excited her greatly; she felt a hidden desire mingled with fear of his ferocity. But it didn’t matter, for in her dream, no one would know; she could do whatever she wanted without concern, to her heart’s content.

"Hard to say? Shall I say it for you? You really want it, want it rough..."

"Feng Yun, have you gone mad?" Pei Jue clenched his teeth yet couldn’t help but grunt, his cold warning transforming into a helpless pant.

Feng Yun nodded fearlessly, pecking like a chicken, her forehead pressed against his shoulder.

"Yes... I’m mad, have been for a long ti. Are you angry? I know you’re not easy to provoke, co on then, take apart my bones, make a soup for your beloved woman..."

As fingers scraped, clothes rubbed together, she intertwined around him like a creeper, like a little beast risking it all, resigned to her fate. Pei Jue’s breathing seized; despite his utmost restraint, that fearso power was ready to surge forth, violently throwing him toward the brink of collapse.

"Look carefully. I am not Xiao Cheng; you needn’t go mad in front of !" Pei Jue nearly violently grabbed her arm, pulling her away, and stared coldly into her eyes.

Xiao Cheng? The voice in the darkness was full of anger.

The mont she heard this na, Feng Yun laughed in a dazed and muddled manner, her face twisted with a strange fury as she suddenly went mad and pushed people away, "What filthy thing... dares to co and fail , thinking too highly of yourself, aren’t you..."

Pei Jue: ...

From the utmost tenderness to the soaring hatred, Feng Yun’s expression changed without warning.

"Xiao Ziceng, you listen to ..."

"From now on, it is only I, Feng Yun, who fails others, there will be no one who can fail !"

Her face was coldly beautiful, her emotions fluctuating wildly, she cursed and pushed him away, then stumbled outward.

Pei Jue caught her by the waist to steady her, but unexpectedly she turned her head and bit him.

A muffled grunt. Pei Jue felt the pain and lifted her, pressing her onto the couch, pinning her neck down, breathing so heavily it seed he would devour her alive.

Feng Yun gasped for breath, still unaware of the danger, struggling a few tis without getting up, her head turned to one side, tears falling silently.

"Just want dead, don’t you... Kill then... You all want dead... Kill ... put an end to it all..."

The restraint on her neck brought back the nightmare she had relived a thousand tis, like a dense spider web entangling her, sticking to her life after life, inescapable. Even though she had been reborn and was lucid, knowing everything, she still found herself trapped in the web, unable to move, subjected to humiliation...

Feng Yun was deeply saddened, "Kill... why don’t you do it harder..."

The alcohol amplified her emotions, and the tears she had not shed since her rebirth now flowed recklessly before him.

Pei Jue looked down at her with drooping eyes, releasing the hold on her neck, his expression dark and indecipherable.

"Who caused your waist injury?"

Feng Yun rubbed her face against the soft pillow, wiping away her tears.

"I, Ayun of the Feng Family, got it through my own doing."

"..."

Pei Jue was silent for a mont, then asked, "Why did you do that?"

Feng Yun sniffed, "To help Pei Jue with the food supply."

"Why help him?"

"I want to be his strategist."

"Why be his strategist?"

"I don’t want to be his concubine."

This ti Pei Jue was silent for a long ti, his head leaning in, his breath as if it brushed against her ear, an intimate distance, but his voice was cold enough to pierce one’s heart:

"Why won’t you be his concubine?"

Wake up! Why won’t you be a concubine?

Feng Yun asked herself inside her mind, her voice coming out as if with a sneer, "Fail ... abandon ... watch die miserably... all you want is my body... my womb... to bear children... I don’t want that..."

The vulnerability in her soul seed to be torn apart by a sharp knife, Feng Yun’s stamring words mixed up all her mories, speaking indistinctly, but very genuinely, her eyes cried red...

Pei Jue was silent all along.

Had it not been for his chest heaving violently, he might have seed like a dead man laying upon her.

"Move a little, move, will you?" Feng Yun felt uncomfortable, pushing him.

Pei Jue took a deep breath.

His body’s sensations were clear and deadly, the surging desire almost bursting forth...

Just then, a cold, hard clank of tal echoed from outside, as if a weapon had cut through the night wind...

"Surround them from all sides! Encircle Changn Academy."

It was Ao Qi’s shout; he had noticed sothing amiss at Changn Academy and ca with his n to capture the intruders.

Imdiately after, the lights in the courtyard flared up, almost illuminating half the night sky—

The entire mansion was alerted!

The n of iling had just consud their celebratory wine, their blood boiling with excitent. Hearing that soone had intruded into Changn Academy aiming to harm their master, they ran over with their knives at the ready.

"Stand guard outside, do not approach without my command."

The entire Changn Academy fell eerily silent; Ao Qi suspected that the maids and won had all been knocked out and was tense, worried about harming Feng Yun and that the intrusion of so many guards would ruin the lady’s reputation.

After giving his orders, he gripped his ring-poml saber and tiptoed toward the door.

The night breeze swept through the corridor, and just as Ao Qi’s hand tentatively touched it, the wooden door creaked open.

Ao Qi’s heart tightened, he drew his sword quickly, but his arm was suddenly grabbed.

"Daredevil thief—"

"It’s ." The emotionless voice, full of deterrence.
