The huge complex magic circle shone brightly in red.

From its center, a stream of blood-red flas erupted forward, shooting straight toward the monster’s incoming claw.

At the sa ti, many of her blood weapons that were embedded in the monster began to gleam as they caught the sa blood-red fire.

BOOM!

BOOM!

They started to explode one after another. But this ti, a beautiful blood-red fire caught its body, starting to burn its flesh.

The huge torrent of red fla that shot toward its incoming claw clashed against it violently.

Scarlett used as much mana as needed to overpower the monster. Her blood-red hair started to sway wildly in the air.

"Aarrrrhhh!" she scread while forcing herself to produce as much fire as possible.

ROOOOORRR!!

BOOM!

A loud explosion occurred from the impact.

The red flas spread across the monster’s arm and shoulder, burning its gray stitched flesh. The fire did not behave like normal fire. It clung to the body like liquid flas, crawling over its skin and burning deeper and deeper.

SCRREEEECHHHH!!!

The monster scread in pain as the flas burned its body. It violently shook its body and slamd its legs onto the ground in rage.

BOOOOM!

BOOOOM!

Nearly thirty ters of ground near that area cracked and shattered from the impact. Rocks and dirt flew everywhere like explosions.

Scarlett imdiately jumped back and ran away from the impact zone. Mark also retreated quickly, barely keeping his balance as the ground trembled.

Scarlett landed several ters away and took heavy breaths.

A sword slowly ford in her hand. A blood-red sword.

Then the sword started to burn in blood-red fire.

The flas were not normal flas. They looked heavy, dense, and dangerous, like burning liquid blood.

Her hand trembled slightly.

This fire was not sothing she liked to use. It consud too much mana. Too much stamina. Too much ntal strength.

But now, it was necessary.

She lifted the sword slowly and then, without hesitation, made a cut across her own palm.

Slice.

Blood flowed out from her hand and dripped onto the burning red sword. The flas instantly burned brighter, deeper, and more violent.

Scarlett clenched her teeth.

Her face had turned pale, but her eyes were still glowing blood red.

"I will end you," she whispered.

Then she kicked off the ground and lunged forward toward the monster.

The monster was still burning on its arm and parts of its body where her weapons had exploded. The flas continued to burn its flesh slowly.

Scarlett jumped high into the air and landed on the monster’s shoulder.

Without wasting a second, she pressed her bleeding hand directly onto the monster’s shoulder.

Her blood touched its body. Where there was a cut.

The monster roared and tried to grab her with its other hand.

But Scarlett had already jumped away.

BOOM!

The monster’s huge hand slamd onto its own shoulder loudly, but Scarlett was no longer there.

She landed far away, sliding across the ground before stopping.

She raised her hand slowly. Then she coughed. Blood ca out of her mouth. But her face was still full of determination.

Her fingers slowly closed into a fist. Her blood, which she had planted inside the monster’s body, began to move.

Inside the monster. The blood spread like thin veins, moving deeper into its muscles, its flesh, its wounds. Then Scarlett whispered sothing quietly,

Suddenly, inside the monster’s shoulder and chest, blood-red light began to glow beneath its stitched gray skin.

The monster froze for a second. It’s body went rigid.

BOOOOOM!!!

A massive explosion erupted from inside its shoulder. Blood-red flas burst out from cracks in its flesh.

SCRREEEEEEEEECHHHHH!!!!

The monster scread in extre pain as the internal explosion destroyed its muscles from inside.

But Scarlett did not stop. She had no plan to stop here. Malphas was fighting rank six monster. Which was too strong. If it was just rank five one. Malphas had killed it a long ti ago. And had joined Scarlett to kill this one.

She dashed forward again, her burning sword leaving a red trail in the air.

She jumped again, spinning in the air, and slashed across the monster’s chest.

SLAAASH!

A huge burning cut appeared across its chest, and blood-red flas spread from the wound imdiately.

The monster tried to punch her again. She jumped back, rolled on the ground, then stood up again, breathing heavily.

Her body was shaking. Her mana was almost exhausted. Her mind was getting dizzy. Blood was coming out of her eyes. Like tears.

But she still raised her sword again.

The monster’s arm, shoulder, and chest were now burning in blood-red flas. Parts of its flesh were destroyed from internal explosions. Deep cuts burned across its body.

It roared again in anger and pain. Scarlett wiped the blood from her mouth and looked at the monster with cold red eyes.

"I will end...it..." she said slowly.

---

On the north side of the forest, near the north tower, the battle was nearly at its end.

The ground was covered with monster corpses, broken trees, and deep claw marks. The air slled of blood, smoke, and burnt flesh.

Kael moved forward slowly, dragging his greatsword for a mont before lifting it again. His body was full of wounds. Cuts across his arms, a deep gash on his shoulder, and blood running down from his forehead to his jaw.

His breathing was heavy, but his eyes were still sharp and focused.

They were close now. Very close to ending this battle. Beside him stood a massive figure nearly eight feet tall.

The figure had a bulky, muscular body covered in dark blue fur. He wore only a large pair of short brown pants. His arms were long and powerful, sharp claws that could tear through steel. His head belonged to a wolf.

Gray eyes shone with a beast-like intensity, and sharp fangs were visible from his half-open mouth.

He was a werewolf. Steffeny’s father. His na Brian. Unfortunately, he was not in the sa group as her during this battle. But he trusted Nora and the others to protect her.

He dropped onto all fours and growled loudly, a deep, terrifying sound that echoed across the battlefield.

Grrrrrrrrrrr...

Around the tower, the rest of the group was fighting the remaining weaker monsters. But their numbers were now very small.

One Rank Five monster was already dead.

Its huge black body lay behind the tower, motionless, its head split open by Kael’s greatsword earlier in the battle.

Killing five rank monster was not a big deal for Transcendent people. But in case of Malphas. Their luck was bad that the monster was evolving into sixth rank. So it was far more stronger.

The second Rank Five monster was still alive, but badly wounded. Deep cuts covered its body, and dark blood stread from multiple wounds. One of its arms was half torn, and one eye was blinded.

But even wounded, it was still dangerous.

Very dangerous. The monster roared in anger and charged toward them again, smashing trees aside as it ran.

Kael tightened his grip on his greatsword.

"We finish this now," he said in a rough, tired voice.

The werewolf growled in agreent and then suddenly dashed forward on all fours at terrifying speed.

They were going to kill the monster.
