"Ahhhrg!"

Amon barely managed to pull himself inside the tower by gripping the broken edge of the wall. His fingers slipped once, then tightened with the last strength he had left as he dragged his body over the edge and collapsed onto the cold floor inside.

"Haa… haa… haa…"

His breathing was ragged. Uneven. Painful.

Blood stread down from his eyes and mouth, dripping onto the dark surface beneath him. So of the veins across his arms and neck had burst, leaving faint traces of red beneath his skin. His entire body trembled slightly, unable to handle the strain it had just gone through.

Every single muscle scread in pain. Every breath burned his lungs.

And yet he was still alive.

In truth… he should have been dead by now.

When Vetaal had taken control of his body and unleashed that overwhelming power, Amon's body should have collapsed instantly.

A human body, especially one at his level should not have been able to endure such force.

But sothing had interfered. Sothing that belonged to him.

The darkness and the shadows.

They were not foreign powers. They were his. A part of him. An extension of his very existence.

When Amon had taken back control earlier, those sa shadow and darkness had instinctively wrapped around him, stabilizing his body, healing what they could, preventing his life from slipping away.

He didn't know how, when it never healed him before.

But he knew they could never harm him. They would never allow him to die so easily.

But when Vetaal had taken control again to bring him here… the damage returned. His body was pushed beyond its limits once more.

And this ti, there was no ti for recovery.

Outside…

Vetaal's form had been forced out. He had fallen far below, unable to follow Amon into the tower.

Above the sky those two massive black eyes which were looking at everything from cracks.

The cracks in space that had ford their shape slowly began to fade.

Like a wound healing. Like reality correcting itself. The fractured space nded, piece by piece, until nothing remained.

As if it had never happened. As if those eyes had never existed in sky before.

But the terror they left behind for Amon and Vetaal...that remained.

Inside the tower Amon lay there for a mont, unmoving.

Then slowly… painfully…He began to crawl.

His fingers dug into the cold floor as he dragged his broken body forward. His legs barely responded. His arms trembled with every inch he moved.

Blood sared behind him, marking his path.

"Haa… haa…"

Each breath felt heavier than the last. But his eyes… They were still focused.

Still determined.

In front of him the waist-length pillar stood silently. The glass chamber lood above it.

Inside it, the massive violet crystal still floated, glowing faintly, pulsing with an unnatural energy that filled the entire space.

Amon reached the pillar. His hand slipped once as he tried to grab onto it.

Then again.

Finally, his fingers tightened around the edge, and with imnse effort, he pulled himself up slightly. Just enough to saw the panel.

The glowing interface was still there.

It was waiting.

[Do you want to deactivate this tower?]

[Yes / No]

Amon stared at those words.

For a mont, everything beca quiet around him.

The pain, the exhaustion, the chaos outside. It all faded into the background.

Only this mont remained. Slowly his lips curved upward. A weak but genuine smile.

His trembling hand rose. His index finger, still dripping with blood, moved toward the panel. For a second, it hovered in the air.

Then he pressed.

"Yes."

A faint tallic sound echoed through the chamber.

Clink.

Inside the glass chamber. The massive violet crystal flickered once.

Its glow disappeared completely.

The light that had filled the tower vanished instantly, plunging everything into dim darkness.

The crystal stopped floating.

BOOM!

It dropped on the floor. The impact echoed through the entire tower as it struck the base of the chamber.

Amon's body finally gave out. He fell backward onto the floor, landing flat on his back.

"Haa…"

A breath escaped his lips. A tired satisfied breath. A faint smile remained on his face.

He had done it. He was successful. For a brief mont, there was silence.

But not for too long. The tower began to tremble.

Rumble…

The entire structure shook violently.

The walls vibrated. The machines embedded within them began to spark and flicker. The pipes that once carried that strange violet energy started to crack.

Then they began to turn into dust.

It was Slowed at first. Then speed increased rapidly.

The machines disintegrated. The pipes crumbled. The glass chamber shattered into fine particles before dissolving into the air.

Even the massive crystal. It cracked. And then faded into nothing.

The walls followed.

The ceiling above began to collapse, not in chunks, but in fragnts of dust that simply vanished before reaching the ground.

Everything was disappearing. The entire tower was being erased.

---

On the others side, sa thing was going on.

The three towers on other side were also crumbling and turning into dust particles.

Where people watched it with awe and happiness.

While outside the black tower.

Scarlett had co back. She ca after watching Amon get inside it from upper side. Where wall was broken.

But Vetaal had ca out of his body and fell on ground sowhere.

Her eyes stared at the crumbling tower. Trying to find Amon. Worry filled her existence.

"A-Amon...please be safe."

---

Amon lay there inside tower, watching it all. He didn't move. He didn't resist. Didn't even try to stand.

He simply watched. His eyes were heavy now. His body had no strength left.

The floor beneath him. It began to disappear as well. The solid ground turned into particles of dust, fading away beneath his body.

And then there was nothing left to support him.

Amon's body dropped. Falling through empty space. The remnants of the tower dissolved around him like sand scattered in the wind.

The gray sky opened above him.

Cold air rushed past his body as he fell from the height where the tower once stood.

His hair moved with the wind. His blood-stained face remained calm.

That faint smile. It didn't disappear. His eyelids slowly began to close.

"…It's over…" he whispered faintly.

The battlefield far below ca into view, blurred in his fading vision. Everything felt distant.

Everything looked quite. It was peaceful.

He felt satisfied. His eyes finally closed halfway. His body continued to fall through the open sky.

And still that small smile remained on his lips.
