"Mmh~ that's how we got out of there… hehe~ and I even got a beautiful girlfriend."

Amon chuckled with a flushed face, his cheeks slightly pink. Yet he never let go the chance to show off that he got beautiful girlfriend. He was not soone who would keep it hidden. He never planned for it

Celestia, however, remained thoughtful. "Hm… Vetaal… and the Chaos Goddess…" she murmured softly, her gaze still fixed on Amon, though her thoughts were clearly elsewhere, focused on what he had told her.

Amon nodded lazily. "Yess! I did tell you this, right? According to him, she was not a death goddess as we think. Nor is she evil or resentful toward humans. Weird. But I don't know if he was telling the truth or not."

His words were beginning to slur slightly.

Celestia spoke calmly, "He… was telling the truth."

Amon's eyes widened slightly in his drunken state. "Oohh!!! Really!! Hehe~ then you already knew about it? So do you know who Vetaal is?"

He slid closer to her, his eyelids heavy, cheeks flushed, and an idiotic smile playing on his lips.

Celestia shook her head faintly. "No… it's just that I have read about such things sowhere. But now that you've told , I am certain. Everything he said and what I read was true. Though… I have no idea who Vetaal is. There is no one with such a na… not even in vampire history. Of course, I am talking about the records we have. They might have sothing in their own archives."

She paused briefly, then added, "Well, that's enough for tonight. I need to look into the information you told ."

Amon nodded loosely. "Ohhkk!!! Tell if you find anything…"

He slowly leaned in and rested his cheek against her shoulder.

Celestia let out a small sigh. "Huh… fine, I will. And how could I forget… this wine is quite strong. It has no effect on since I am powerful, but the sa cannot be said for him."

"Hehe~" Amon giggled, rubbing his cheek against her shoulder.

Celestia glanced at him, her cold and indifferent expression softening slightly. "Hah… looking at him… he's just a kid. Even younger than my daughter. But he survived such dangerous things. That's admirable."

Amon suddenly retorted weakly, "Hey! I am not a kid."

Celestia smirked faintly. "Yeah, yeah. You're not a kid. You're like a cat… or should I say a puppy?"

Amon, who was nearly drifting off, suddenly lifted his head, trying to focus on her crimson eyes. "You call a cat and a puppy? Do you even know who I am?" he said loudly, acting like so grand figure, completely forgetting the woman in front of him was a queen.

Celestia set her glass down on the table and looked at him with amusent. "I don't know. Can you tell who you are?"

Amon puffed his chest proudly. "Haha! I am Amon. The great Amon. One smile from makes ladies go crazy. I am soone who defeated an angel in one attack. From heaven to earth, I alone am the hono—"

"Okay, okay, I get it," Celestia interrupted, raising her hand and flicking his forehead lightly.

Amon winced slightly.

With a faint smile, she said, "I apologize to the great Amon."

Amon nodded with satisfaction. "Good! I shall forgive you. Don't refer to like that again."

Celestia replied playfully. A very rare thing for her to do it. "Yes, great Amon. It's just that you looked cute like a cat or a puppy."

Amon paused, then nodded seriously. "Ohh… then that's okay." He folded his arms proudly. "Though I prefer ladies calling handso, I don't mind being called cute."

Celestia found herself enjoying his antics.

Soone of her stature would never allow a commoner to enter her private chamber, let alone sit this close.

Not even a nobleman she knew would be granted such access.

The reason she allowed him was simple.

He was her daughter's friend.

And she trusted Selena's judgnt. Selena did not make shallow or unreliable connections.

He was younger than her daughter. He was Harmless, a little naive, and sowhat innocent looking. She does not feel uncomfortable or displeasure from him.

So she found no issue in letting him stay while she relaxed.

"Yawn~ I'm so sleepy…" Amon mumbled.

He leaned fully, resting his head on her shoulder.

Celestia frowned slightly. "You're getting too comfortable, boy. You should go and sleep in your room."

Amon muttered, half-asleep, "I can't go… take there…"

Celestia raised a brow. "Did you forget who I am?"

There was no proper response.

"Amon… Amon?" she called again.

He only murmured faintly, "What…"

She sighed and drank the remaining wine in her glass.

"Such a lucky man… to be able to rest his head on ," she muttered quietly.

"If those noble n knew… they would be jealous of this boy."

She glanced at him again. "Anyway… where is his room again? Hey, where's your room?"

She didn't know which chamber he was staying in. It was her daughter who arranged his stayed. And she didn't bother trying to know about every detail.

Suddenly, Amon grabbed her hand tightly. "Hm~ just let sleep here…"

Celestia's eyes narrowed slightly. "Boy, you are really courting death. I don't want to make my daughter sad."

Amon mumbled lazily, "Co on!! You said I'm a kid, then what's wrong with sleeping here? Or do you think I'm a man?"

Celestia laughed softly. "Haha… look at you trying to use such logic against . Do you think I'm an easy woman?" despite laughing there was so danger in her voice.

She stood up and grabbed Amon by his clothes, lifting him into the air.

He dangled helplessly like a kitten.

She looked at him, then sighed.

She walked over and tossed him onto the large bed. His body landed on the soft mattress.

It was so comfortable that he didn't even react.

Celestia stretched her arms lightly. "Haah… well, sleep is not that important to ."

She walked toward the balcony.

Standing near the railing, her gaze fell upon the city below. The moonlight made her silver hair shine even more beautifully as strands swayed gently in the cold wind.

She remained there, silently.

Thinking deeply while looking at the beautiful night scenery.
