"You want to hear what happened?" Amon asked while scratching his cheek lightly. "It’s a long story though... and honestly I am getting tired of repeating it to everyone. If you want, I wil—"
Before he could finish, Adelia gently placed her soft index finger against his lips.
Amon imdiately froze.
With a gentle smile, she softly said,
"It’s alright."
Her yellow eyes looked warmly at him.
"You don’t need to tell all of that right now."
Then slowly, she pulled her finger away from his lips.
"We will have a lot of ti later."
A soft smile remained on her beautiful face.
"I an... I hope you will still co here during dinner ti like before."
Amon’s eyes brightened instantly.
"Of course I will!!"
He smiled widely.
"Actually, how about tonight? Can I eat here with you?"
Adelia blinked briefly before smiling again.
"That sounds nice."
Her expression softened greatly.
"Then I can slowly listen to your adventures too."
Amon nodded happily.
"Yes I will tell you." Then suddenly he rembered sothing. "Also, do you know? I t your older brother."
Adelia nodded lightly.
"Yes, I know."
Her expression beca slightly complicated.
"He told about eting you."
Then her gaze lowered slightly.
"I was so scared after hearing you were taken by demons."
Her fingers clenched the fabric of the white lab coat she wore over her black turtleneck shirt.
"I really thought sothing terrible might have happened to you..."
Her lips trembled slightly. She was really worried about him for past months. Despite not showing it to anyone else, she was really scared at the thought of sothing happened to him.
Watching her like that made Amon’s chest tighten a little. Seeing Professor Adelia sad genuinely felt uncomfortable to him.
An urge to comfort her imdiately appeared inside his heart.
He hesitated briefly. Should he really hug her? But then he rembered how tightly she had hugged him earlier without caring about anything.
So maybe...
’I think she won’t mind it...I an I hope so.’
It was alright. Slowly, Amon moved closer toward her on the couch.
Their thighs lightly touched.
Then he wrapped one arm gently around her side before resting his head lightly against hers.
"Just calm down, Professor."
His voice beca softer.
"No need to feel sad anymore."
He gently patted her back. He body was soft against his. Her sweet scent made Amon felt more calm.
Adelia beca slightly startled from the sudden hug.
A faint blush quickly spread across her cheeks.
Her heartbeat unconsciously quickened. A young student was currently comforting her.
Honestly... It felt slightly embarrassing. But strangely comforting too.
"...Okay."
Her voice softened greatly.
"I won’t."
Then she smiled awkwardly.
"I just beca a little emotional. Sorry."
After a few monts, she carefully moved away from his hug while avoiding direct eye contact from embarrassnt.
Amon looked at her before grinning mischievously.
"Ohhh..."
His black eyes narrowed teasingly.
"Professor Adelia is embarrassed."
Adelia instantly looked toward him.
"I-I am not embarrassed."
Amon imdiately pointed at her face dramatically.
"But your face is like red cherry."
"T-That’s because the room is warm."
Amon looked around the infirmary. The room was actually quite cool. Then he looked back at her suspiciously.
"...Really?" Of course he won’t believe it her excuse.
Adelia crossed her arms under her huge chest, unconsciously pushing them upward. Which made them more prominent. And while trying to maintain authority.
Amon’s eyes couldn’t help but drawn toward her chest.
Now they reminded her of Scarlett. He pushed those dirty thoughts aside. ’My mind is becoming more and more crazy.’
"Of course." He said.
Amon leaned slightly closer with a playful grin.
"Hmm... but earlier you hugged so tightly like you never wanted to let go."
Adelia’s face imdiately beca even redder.
"A-Amon!"
Her embarrassed voice echoed through the infirmary.
"You shouldn’t say things like that so casually to your professor!"
Amon burst into laughter.
"Hahaha!"
Adelia quickly tried to regain composure before narrowing her yellow eyes at him.
"You are teasing your professor now?"
Despite trying to look strict, her embarrassed face only made her look cute.
At least to Amon.
Instead of feeling intimidated, Amon only smiled more.
"...Cute."
Adelia froze.
"...What?"
Amon imdiately realized what slipped out accidentally.
"...Ah."
Adelia stared at him speechlessly. Her cheeks beca completely red now. "Amon!"
This ti her voice carried genuine embarrassnt. "You really beca much bolder after returning!"
Amon coughed awkwardly.
"S-Sorry. It slipped out naturally. But I an it."
Adelia tried to glare at him. She really tried very hard. But with her flushed cheeks and teary yellow eyes from earlier, she honestly looked more adorable than threatening.
Amon had to hold back laughter.
’How can she look so adorable.’ He thought while enjoying his ti with her.
Soon evening slowly turned darker outside.
The orange sunset disappeared completely while night covered the Academy grounds.
At so point, Adelia had ordered food for both of them from the Academy cafeteria.
Not long later, the food arrived.
Several warm dishes were arranged neatly on the small table placed before the couch. The sll instantly spread through the room.
Amon’s eyes sparkled imdiately.
"Ohhh food."
Adelia couldn’t help smiling.
"You really love eating, don’t you?"
"Food is one of the greatest treasures in life."
Amon spoke with complete seriousness.
That answer honestly made Adelia laugh softly again.
Soon both of them started eating together while casually talking.
Amon happily ate while telling her small stories about random monts from the island.
Not the dangerous parts.
Only lighter things.
anwhile Adelia quietly listened while smiling gently.
Then suddenly.
Beep. Beep.
A sound ca from Amon’s pants pocket.
"Hm?"
Amon took out his pager.
His expression brightened slightly after seeing the na.
"It’s Senior Selena."
He imdiately answered the call.
From the other side, Selena’s calm voice echoed.
"Hey. Where are you?"
Amon blinked.
"Huh?"
Selena continued,
"Seraphina and I are waiting for you at the cafeteria. Co eat dinner."
Amon smiled awkwardly.
"Oh... actually I am already eating."
There was Silence on other side Then Selena asked slowly, "...Where?"
Amon coughed lightly.
"With Professor Adelia. In academy infirmary. "
Another silence.
This one longer.
Adelia beside him looked curiously toward his pager while quietly eating.
Then finally Selena spoke again.
"...Amon."
Her voice sounded oddly calm now.
"You are becoming bolder and bolder."
Amon imdiately sensed danger.
"Eh?"
"Now you are secretly eating dinner alone with your professor."
Her voice remained flat.
"Aren’t you spending an awful lot of ti with won lately?"
Amon imdiately flinched.
Scarlett suddenly appeared in his mind. Cold sweat almost ford on his back.
"This is terrible, Amon."
Amon swallowed nervously. He wanted to scream that it’s nothing and they are also won. So he shouldn’t spend ti with them either?
"N-No Senior! It’s not like that!"
Adelia blinked curiously while watching his worried expression.
Amon quickly explained,
"Professor Adelia also t after months, so we wanted to talk while eating dinner."
Then he quickly added,
"If you want, you and Seraphina can co here too."
Honestly, he fully expected Selena to refuse.
But instead.
"Alright."
Amon blinked.
"...Eh?"
"We are coming."
Then she cut of from other side

The call ended instantly. Amon stared blankly at the pager for a mont.
"...That was fast."
Adelia smiled curiously.
"They are coming here?"
Amon nodded awkwardly. "Yes."
Then he smiled helplessly. "I hope you don’t mind."
Adelia gently waved one hand. "I don’t mind at all." A soft smile appeared on her lips.
"We already spent ti together before anyway."
About fifteen minutes later.
Knock. Knock.
Amon imdiately stood up and opened the infirmary door.
Outside stood Selena and Seraphina.
Selena wore a dark gray sweater with black pants while her long silver hair rested in a loose braid over one shoulder.
anwhile Seraphina wore a cream-colored sweater along with a black skirt and dark stockings.
In their hands were bags containing cafeteria food.
Both entered calmly.
The mont they saw Adelia, they greeted respectfully.
"Good evening, Professor."
"Good evening."
Adelia smiled warmly.
"Good evening you two."
The infirmary suddenly beca much livelier than before.
Since the couch wasn’t large enough for everyone, Seraphina quietly sat beside Amon naturally.
anwhile Selena dragged a nearby chair closer before sitting near the small table.
Her red eyes slowly moved between Amon and Adelia.
Especially how close they had been sitting earlier.
Then a faint smirk appeared on her face.
Amon imdiately sensed danger again.
"...Why are you looking at like that, Senior?"
Selena crossed one leg over another calmly.
"Oh nothing."
Her smirk widened slightly. Which was very unusual for his indifferent senior. Though she shows lots of expression whenever she was with Amon.
"I was just thinking."
Amon narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"Thinking what?"
Selena casually rested her chin on one hand.
"Our junior really adapts quickly everywhere."
Adelia blinked innocently.
anwhile Seraphina quietly looked between them while opening the food bags.
Amon imdiately defended himself.
"I literally invited you here myself!"
Selena nodded.
"Yes yes."
Then she looked toward Adelia.
"Professor, please be careful."
Amon’s lips twitched.
Selena continued calmly,
"This junior of ours naturally flirts with won without realizing it."
"Senior!!"
Adelia looked surprised.
Seraphina quietly nodded from beside Amon.
"...It’s true."
Amon looked completely betrayed.
"You too, Sera?!"
