The lunch break arrived soon after the morning classes ended.

Students imdiately began leaving their classrooms and heading toward the cafeteria.

The usually noisy building beca even livelier as hundreds of students filled the corridors.

Amon walked alongside Marcus, Seraphina, Eliana, and Aisha.

The five of them eventually entered the cafeteria, collected their als, and sat around a large table.

Amon sat at the center of one side.

Marcus sat beside him. Across from them sat Seraphina and Eliana. Aisha occupied the remaining seat.

For a few minutes, everyone focused on eating.

Then suddenly, Amon placed his fork down.

His expression beca serious.

The expression was very serious. At least he tried to make it serious. He looked at everyone one by one. Then he spoke in a firm voice.

"Let’s form our group. I an our team."

The others looked up from their food.

Amon folded his arms. "I won’t take no for an answer."

His voice was strict.

At least, he was trying to make it sound strict.

The group exchanged looks.

Aisha simply turned her head away and continued eating as if she had heard nothing. Her thoughts might be running to last night each ti seeing Amon’s face.

Marcus imdiately frowned. "No."

Amon blinked. Not knowing why this young master was denying.

Marcus pointed at him."? Team up with you? There’s no way."

His expression beca even more irritated. "And besides, no one would team up with you anyway."

Amon looked deeply wounded. He placed a hand over his chest. As if showing he felt betrayed. That his true friend just backstab him.

"Marcus... I never knew you viewed this way."

"I don’t care." Marcus imdiately returned to eating.

anwhile, Seraphina calmly wiped her lips with a napkin.

Then she spoke. "I am in."

Everyone looked at her.

She nodded slightly. "Let’s form our group."

Amon’s eyes brightened instantly. Before he could celebrate, Eliana also smiled and raised her hand slightly.

" too."

She looked toward Amon. "I was already planning to join anyway."

Amon looked as if he had just won a great victory.

anwhile, Marcus clenched his teeth. Not understanding why they were forming a team with idiot.

Eliana then turned toward Aisha.

"What about you?"

Aisha paused for a mont.

Then she simply gave a small nod. "Sure."

That was enough.

A huge smile imdiately appeared on Amon’s face.

His usual energetic self seed to return completely.

He pointed dramatically at Marcus.

"Now we are all one team."

Marcus nearly dropped his fork.

"I HAVEN’T AGREED!"

Several nearby students turned toward their table after hearing him yell.

Amon waved dismissively.

"No need for that."

Marcus stared at him.

"You are already part of the team." Amon continued further.

"Who decided that?!"

"I did." His voice was confident.

Marcus felt a headache coming. After several seconds of silence, he sighed heavily.

"Whatever."

Amon imdiately pumped his fist into the air.

"Victory!"

Marcus wanted to throw sothing at him.

Eliana giggled. Even Aisha looked slightly amused. Only Seraphina remained calm as usual.

"Since the group is decided," Amon said proudly, "let’s eat quickly and talk about future plans."

Everyone nodded.

For several minutes, they continued eating.

Then suddenly, Amon spoke again. "Guys."

His tone sounded mysterious.

Everyone looked toward him. "You do know we are seniors now, right?"

A wild smile appeared on his face.

The others exchanged confused looks.

"Yes."

Eliana nodded. "Of course."

Marcus frowned. "So what?"

Even Seraphina looked slightly curious.

Amon leaned forward. His grin widened. "That ans..."

He paused dramatically.

"We have juniors."

There was silence. The others continued staring at him.

Then Eliana tilted her head. Her long ears twitched slightly. "What about it?"

Amon looked shocked.

"What do you an, what about it?"

He pointed at himself.

"We are seniors now."

Then he pointed toward the first-year section visible from the cafeteria.

"They are juniors."

His smile beca even wider.

"That ans they should respect us."

Marcus imdiately knew where this conversation was heading.

His expression beca tired.

"Oh no."

Amon completely ignored him.

"We are strong."

He proudly placed a hand on his chest.

"We are experienced."

Another hand landed on the table.

"And most importantly..."

He pointed dramatically toward the ceiling.

"We are their seniors!"

Several nearby students glanced toward him.

So first-years even looked confused.

Eliana blinked.

Then she laughed.

"So that’s what you are excited about?"

"Of course!"

Amon looked offended.

"This is an important responsibility. We need to bully– cough!" Amon’s true feelings nearly slipped. He stopped it with a cough." ..wait I an we need to guide them."

Marcus snorted.

"No." Of course he understood what Amon wanted to do.

"It is."

"No."

"It is."

"No."

"It is."

Marcus sighed.

"You just want to show off... and bully them."

Amon froze. For a mont, nobody spoke. Then he coughed awkwardly. "...Maybe a little."

"Exactly."

Eliana laughed harder. Even Seraphina’s lips twitched slightly. Aisha shook her head.

"You are unbelievable."

Amon looked completely shaless.

"Imagine it."

He spread his arms.

"A nervous first-year student approaches us."

His expression beca noble.

"’Senior Amon, please guide .’"

Eliana burst out laughing. Marcus covered his face. Aisha’s tail flicked behind her.

anwhile, Seraphina quietly took another bite of food.

Amon continued anyway.

"I will act strictly first...asking them their nas, class...and what they are good at..then give them so entertaining task...hehe only then I will generously help them."

"How kind of you." Marcus sounded tired.

"I know." Amon nodded seriously.

The group could only shake their heads.

Sohow, despite disappearing for seven months and surviving countless dangerous situations, Amon remained exactly the sa.

He was loud and weirdly confident.

And strangely enough...

Everyone at the table felt that the atmosphere was much livelier because of it.

The entire group was together again. And looked happy.

Their mission team had been ford. The second year had officially begun. And knowing Amon...

Things were definitely not going to stay peaceful for very long.
