The Imperial Gift was not easy to handle. This portion was advanced to Xin Lin by Jiang Qing, and the rest would be paid after the finances were processed.
She wasn’t in a hurry to inquire about Taoyao Pavilion and De Yue Building, planning to wait until Tu Suxia took office before making further plans.
Xin Lin returned to the School Clinic, first checking on the newly planted dicinal herbs.
The Yuan Shen and Motherwort had been planted for several days.
The Yuan Shen had not sprouted yet, but the Motherwort was growing well, already over half a person tall, with thick leaves and surrounded by circles of pink and purple flowers, attracting swarms of Hornet Monsters flying back and forth among the flowers.

Xin Lin looked down and saw the fluff ball lying on her waist.
She laughed silently and put away the fluff ball.
Only then did the Hornet Monsters fly back, joyfully collecting nectar among the flowers.
Having stayed in the School Clinic for a long ti, these Hornet Monsters had developed so human-like traits. Not only did they beco larger, but they also adapted well to humans.
If people didn’t actively attack them, they would not attack people unprovoked.
It seed that the Jade Pure Spring was useful for certain dicinal herbs, similar to Black Fish and Combat Lobsters.
Unfortunately, the expensive Yuan Shen was ineffective, while the cheaper Motherwort adapted well.
Xin Lin thought about trying a few more dicinal herbs.
Hearing the buzzing sound of the Hornet Monsters’ wings, Xin Lin thought of the beehives.
She went to the beehives and looked inside.
The two newly installed beehives showed signs of activity from the Hornet Monsters, and there were honeycombs inside.
"It looks like these Hornet Monsters have started reproducing. My Golden Honey is hopeful."
Xin Lin said happily.
For Chu’s Restaurant to expand, or rather, to establish a foothold in Purple Cloud City and move out of Longteng, the biggest problem was the supply of ingredients.
Chu’s Restaurant currently didn’t have a skilled Spiritual Delicacy Master in charge, relying only on First and Second Star Spirit Food to attract custors.
First and Second Star Spirit Food could be made by any Spiritual Food Restaurant, with little difference in taste.
Thus, unique ingredients beca the key to Chu’s Restaurant’s success, and she would inevitably need more ingredients.
Looking at the two new beehives, in another ten to fifteen days, they could start supplying Golden Honey regularly. By then, the production of Golden Honey would increase from ten pounds a day to thirty pounds.
She also needed to think about creating so new Spiritual Foods.
However, earlier Mu Yi also ntioned that the prices at Chu’s Restaurant weren’t high. If Golden Honey were only used to make First and Second Star Spirit Food or non-Spiritual Foods like sugar lotus root, Chu’s Restaurant wouldn’t earn much.
They still lacked so money to buy Taoyao Pavilion or De Yue Building.
She had to co up with sothing to appeal to other custors.
Xin Lin looked at the Motherwort and began pondering.
Near dusk, when no one was in the School Clinic, Xin Lin rembered the "extre task" given to her by the Life Book. Counting the days, less than half a month remained, and feeling that she might be forbidden from using items related to the Life Book, she beca nervous.
"Master Mo, haven’t there been any patients with difficult cases these days?"
"Difficult cases? With this lousy dical hall, how could we treat those? This isn’t the Imperial Hospital."
Master Mo exclaid in surprise.
