Relying solely on the information provided by the pale-faced youth, Ron had no way to find the mastermind behind it all.
Not until the youth's final statent.
"They said that if I succeeded, I should go to the Kingdom of Fiora to find them."
"Kingdom of Fiora?"
Ron's pupils contracted.
"Anything else?"
"No, that's everything I know. I've told you everything. Can you spare my life? I'll never target you again, Lord Ron—I can be your lackey…"
Before he could finish, Ron ended his life.
"Sorry, but you're not qualified."
After briefly dealing with the youth's corpse, Ron headed straight to the airship station as quickly as possible.
He purchased a ticket for the next airship bound for the Kingdom of Fiora.
However, the airship wouldn't depart imdiately; he had to wait two hours. The more ideal departure had already passed, so this trip would be slightly slower and require more transfers.
Ron took out his phone and dialed Wendy's number.
"Ron, are you already on the airship?"
Wendy's tone clearly carried anticipation.
Ron shook his head.
"No, sothing unexpected happened and caused a delay."
"What happened? Ron, are you alright?"
"I'm fine."
Ron continued, "On my way to the airship station, I was attacked. I captured the attackers and interrogated them. I found out they're connected to Nen users from the Kingdom of Taris."
"Taris…"
Wendy's expression grew serious.
"Yes, Nen users from Taris. According to what I learned, they've likely gone to your Kingdom of Fiora."
"They might be involved in so secret plan that's unfavourable to your kingdom."
Wendy fell silent for a mont, as though digesting the news.
"Alright, I understand. I'll go and tell Uncle Dominica imdiately. Ron, thank you."
"You're welco. It's what I should do."
Ron paused and said, "My airship departs in about two hours. It will take roughly two days to reach the Kingdom of Fiora. See you then."
"Okay, I'll co pick you up."
"Alright, sorry for the trouble."
"Not at all, it's what I should do."
The next mont, both of them laughed softly over the phone.
They ended the call.
Ron entered a nearby café, ordered a cup of coffee, and quietly waited for ti to pass.
Two hours later, Ron boarded the airship.
---
Ron left, but matters at Heaven's Arena were far from over.
The deaths of three Floor Masters were a huge event for the arena.
After all, there were only twenty-one Floor Masters in total.
Losing three at once—a seventh of them—was no small blow, even if they were lower-ranked.
For a while, speculation ran wild.
So thought Heaven's Arena had provoked a formidable enemy.
Others wondered if internal strife had erupted within the arena.
But those who knew the inside story didn't show any special reaction.
The Floor Master continued his training as usual.
The other Floor Masters remained calm, because they understood this was rely internal conflict within Heaven's Arena.
Moreover, Ron had single-handedly taken down all three core mbers of AKA.
It was resolved within a single day.
There would be no further complications.
Only mbers of AKA were hit hardest.
With the loss of its three core mbers, the remaining mbers couldn't keep the group together.
So left imdiately.
Others tried in vain to maintain AKA's presence.
But they, too, had to abandon the higher floors of Heaven's Arena.
Soon, new Floor Masters would erge to claim those floors.
Those who were close to earning their challenge rights were overjoyed.
"These Floor Master positions will be mine!"
An old man looked out the window.
"I will certainly claim a Floor Master title!"
A young man gazed into the distance.
"No one can compete with !"
A woman narrowed her eyes.
"Three openings at once—this is a heaven-sent opportunity. I won't miss it!"
A grand celebration for these hopefuls was set into motion.
"Whoever did this, I really must thank them!"
---
Two days later.
"Ron, over here!"
In the distance, Wendy waved to Ron.
Her blue hair swayed with the movent, brimming with youthful energy. Many people's eyes were drawn to her, but upon noticing her attire—marking her as a mber of Fiora's royal family—they quickly looked away.
In the Kingdom of Fiora, social hierarchies were pronounced.
Royalty stood far above all others.
Below them were nobles.
Although this world had entered a modern era—despite the existence of Nen users, their numbers were too small to greatly influence the overall social structure—few ordinary people knew of their existence.
While many watched battles at Heaven's Arena, they only knew that competitors above the 200th floor were extraordinarily strong. They didn't realize they were Nen users.
So in this modern society, the existence of royalty, nobility, and commoners might seem out of place. Yet in Fiora, it was fully accepted.
Fiora was extrely powerful, a mber of the V5.
Its economy ranked among the top in the V5.
Because of this, people in Fiora lived well.
Royalty and nobles needed no explanation, and even commoners were well provided for—education, healthcare, employnt—no worries at all.
The only things limited were the possibility of social mobility and the lingering discrimination between classes.
However, few commoners pursued such things.
Humans only seek more when their basic needs aren't t. In Fiora, most people lived comfortably, and dissatisfaction was rare.
So commoners who disliked the system left for other countries but often regretted it soon after.
(t/N: was this wirtten by a Fioran propogandist?)
They found life elsewhere harder, not better, and many returned to Fiora, where at least their basic needs were guaranteed.
Discrimination existed, but in day-to-day life, it was barely noticeable. It might surface a few tis a year, and people just endure it.
"Wendy."
Ron smiled and, after disembarking from the airship, jogged over to her.
Many onlookers turned their gaze toward Ron.
"Who is he?"
They were curious about Ron's identity—soone who warranted such a warm welco from a royal family mber. And Ron didn't look like he was from Fiora.
What was his status?
"Get in."
A car waited nearby. The driver was a middle-aged man.
Ron and Wendy sat in the back seat.
"Miss, where to?"
"Back to the estate."
