"That's why each of their abilities was developed for the sake of the team.
"Uvogin and Phinks serve as the Phantom Troupe's shield.
"Nobunaga and Feitan are its finishers.
"Bonolenov's ability cos with strict conditions, but it can inflict massive damage.
"Franklin's job is to clear out underlings.
"Shalnark and Pakunoda handle intelligence-gathering.
"Shalnark joined later on, and his main ability deals with puppetry, not quite as group-oriented.
"Kubi is basically just a tool; not much help in battle.
"Machi's ability is primarily ant for healing—Nen thread suturing.
It wasn't ant for combat in the first place. Still, Machi has enough talent that, even though her power is geared toward healing, she can do well in a fight.
"Besides Chrollo, Machi might have the best innate talent of us all. Actually, to be precise, Chrollo's innate ability might not be better than Machi's; his true strength lies in his intelligence, which surpasses everyone else's.
"If Sarasa were still alive, I'm sure her talent wouldn't be lacking either."
Ron raised an eyebrow.
"In other words, Machi sacrificed a lot for the Troupe."
Sheila glanced at Ron.
"Ron, are you not interested in my body because you prefer a different type? You like soone more like Machi?
"Though, it makes sense.
Machi's appearance does pair better with soone your age. Still, there are advantages to older won too, you know."
Sheila cast Ron a suggestive look, but he simply turned away and pretended not to see. At this point, Sheila only had one motive in cozying up to him: getting food.
She truly used everything and anything as long as it aligned with her goals.
"This is paynt for the info you gave about the Phantom Troupe mbers."
Ron handed Sheila a bag of bread.
Just then, Ron finally gained full control of Sumas. In other words, Sumas was now his Nen Spirit.
In Ron's relationship with Sumas, it was just like his relationship with the Rotten Life Blade—fully bonded.
A huge amount of information surged into his mind.
Ron sat in the corner, digesting it all.
Sumas. Also called the "Twin Space."
It has two forms.
One is the "fixed form," rging with the environnt and allowing its user to shape that environnt.
That's how the Kurta Clan used Sumas: covering dozens of kiloters with it, creating different terrains—forests, plains, deserts, gorges, pyramids…
It could also absorb the aura of the dead to spawn monsters. The dried branches, worms, crows, mummies—all ca from that. It could even create a place like the Trial Grounds.
However, this thod pins Sumas to one location—unsuitable for Ron's style.
The other is the "mobile form," which opens up a separate space.
Compared to the fixed form, it's much smaller, but it has the advantage of being portable. Ron can open a gateway into that space anyti, like a personal pocket dinsion.
It's sowhat akin to Shizuku's vacuum, but hers only takes in things that she perceives as "lifeless."
Sumas, on the other hand, can bring in anything.
It's more like Knov's "Fourth-Dinsional Mansion," only far larger.
"Small" here is relative to Sumas's fixed form, which was enormous.
Moreover, the abilities from the fixed form can still be used in the mobile form. Essentially, Ron now possesses a reduced-scale version of the Kurta Clan's hideaway.
"The only downside is that, when that old man forced Sumas into its shrunken state, he abandoned too many things. Not much is left.
Otherwise, it'd be in better shape now.
"But since I have Sumas, I can move items from outside into it myself."
Suddenly, Ron had a thought:
"Could I place Ganlu Temple inside Sumas? Sumas's space is much bigger. But would two Nen Spirits conflict with each other?
I'll have to try another ti."
He focused again.
"All right—let's fully initiate its mobile form."
In the next instant, their closed chamber began to quake.
Sheila's face shifted. "What's happening?"
Ron feigned surprise as well.
They exchanged glances.

With a deafening noise, the chamber shattered. Both Ron and Sheila went tumbling downward. Then Ron abruptly vanished.
Sumas's space split into several sectors: A forest, a desert, grassland, a pyramid, a Trial Grounds area, and an empty zone—remnants of what was once the Kurta Clan's domain, all drastically downsized.
"Each region is maybe a dozen square kiloters left at most. The forest's trees have thinned out, a lifeless hush. The worms in the grasslands are gone. The scorpions in the desert are still around, though. The gorge area disappeared. The pyramid has a few mummies remaining. The Trial Grounds are in the best shape.
"These six zones are separated by invisible walls I can open or close.
When closed, they're six entirely distinct spaces.
"I'll dump Sheila into the forest zone—she can survive there.
No need to kill her off just yet; she might still be useful for more intel on the Phantom Troupe or teor City.
"The grassland and desert zones can be left alone for now. The pyramid can serve as a prison—if I ever need soone alive for interrogation, I can lock them inside, and once they die, they beco mummies.
"As for the Trial Grounds, it has two main functions: absorbing a dead person's aura, and manifesting Nen-beast-like creatures to test anyone who enters. If they pass, they get a reward.
"When I kill a strong Nen user soday, I could toss their corpse into the Trial Grounds. Also, Nina or the others can go through the Trial Grounds to grow stronger quickly.
"And the empty zone can be used as storage—a much bigger space than what's inside Killer Queen.
"In the forest now, that's where Sheila landed."
