Under normal circumstances, it shows as a yellow dot. If it encounters soone with good intentions, it turns green. If it encounters soone with malice, it turns red. However, this judgnt isn't one hundred percent accurate. Even people themselves can't always tell whether soone is truly good or bad, or in disguise. At most, it serves as a reference. Actual judgnt still has to be done by humans. There may be a Nen ability that can fully discern soone's morality, but developing sothing that precise would be extrely difficult. The constraints and vows involved would have to be very severe.
"Captain, don't you feel sothing's off about this city?" Ponzu suddenly asked.
"What do you an?" Ron replied.
"I'm not sure. Ever since we entered this city, I've had an uncomfortable feeling."
Ponzu frowned. Ron glanced at her. "It doesn't have much to do with us. We only ca because we accepted a commission. Once we finish, we'll leave. No need to worry about anything else."
"All right," Ponzu answered.

At the Kalu Estate, the central building resembled a castle. Inside a huge room—spacious, stocked with alcohol, a swimming pool, and so forth—a young man stood in the center, with a middle-aged butler at his side.
"Lord Kalu," the butler said respectfully, "the guards are in place."
"What about Tuck?" Kalu asked.
"Lord Tuck is stationed outside."
"I heard Tuck invited two people to help?"
"Yes. They've already arrived."
"What are they like?"
"One is a boy, younger than Lord Tuck, and the other is a petite girl."
Hearing "girl," Kalu seed intrigued. "Is she pretty? ...What if I asked them to co right now?"
The butler hesitated. "I doubt they'd agree. After all, they ca at Lord Tuck's invitation."
"What if I go to them?"
"Lord Tuck probably wouldn't approve…" The butler started to speak but was cut off.
"'Lord Tuck' this, 'Lord Tuck' that—whose butler are you?" Kalu's face darkened.
Thud! The butler dropped to his knees.
"Lord Kalu, I'm certainly your butler. It's just that, with Nightfall looming, everything I do is for your safety."
Kalu let out a cold snort. "That Tuck sure thinks highly of himself. But you're right. Nightfall is a problem. Why'd they suddenly set their sights on ? I never had any conflict with them. It's disgusting. Once Tuck captures them, I'll lock them up in the basent and make sure they suffer the worst punishnt."
Kalu stood. "Don't bring them up anymore—it's ruining my mood. Keep watch here. I'm heading down to the basent. If anything happens, let know imdiately."
"Yes, Lord Kalu," the butler replied at once.
Kalu walked over to a corner and pressed a hidden chanism. Click! A door opened, revealing a stairway. He descended into a basent nearly as large as the building above. This, however, was Kalu's true playground. Food, won, gas—none were thrilling enough for him. Only what lay in this basent, including the people imprisoned here, truly excited him.
Corridors lined with tal cells stretched before him. Inside were captives—boys and girls alike. So turned terrified at the sound of his footsteps, while others had already gone numb. Kalu stopped at one cell. The girl inside glared at him, hatred burning in her eyes.
"You'll die a horrible death!"
Kalu rely smiled. "I like that look."
"All right, then… I'll pick you."
He opened the cell door and stepped inside. The girl rushed him, but the difference in strength was too great. A single kick from Kalu sent her crumpling to the floor. He walked over, grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her out. With no clothes on, her skin tore against the ground, leaving a trail of blood. Each scrape drew a fresh howl of pain, which only seed to improve Kalu's mood.
Monts later, he arrived at another secret chamber. A massive pillar stood in the center. Kalu bound the girl to it, arms and legs restrained, completely exposed to his view. He whistled, and a huge hound sprang out of the darkness. The dog padded up to Kalu, wagging its tail for attention. Kalu patted its head, then produced a small pill, which the dog gulped down in one bite. Its eyes imdiately glead with a frenzied excitent.
"Go," Kalu ordered, pointing at the girl.
The hound pounced. Unlike the dog, the girl was painfully aware of everything—she'd had no sedatives or drugs, yet there was nothing she could do except watch herself beco the beast's plaything. The tornt to both body and mind was excruciating, and she scread in agony.
Kalu's smile only grew as she hurled curses at him:
"Monster!"
"Pervert!"
"You'll die a terrible death!"
"Not even a corpse will remain!"
He savored her words with twisted delight. What he failed to notice was a figure in one of the corner cells quietly removing a small vial from a hidden spot. They opened it, releasing a colorless, odorless gas. Neither Kalu nor any of his subordinates detected it.
Elsewhere in the city, three figures looked sharply in the estate's direction. A single fly fluttered near them, heading straight toward where the gas had erged.
"We've found the place," one person said. "Ti to move."
A woman spoke up. "I'll keep Tuck busy. The rest is up to the two of you."
"Got it!"
