Now reading: Chapter 7 - 7 from The Strongest Assassin of the Zoldyck Family!, a Action novel by IDKjust.

The Zoldyck family was renowned as a lineage of assassins.

Even without Nen abilities, the mbers of the Zoldyck family are exceptionally skilled in combat.

In the original storyline, when Killua was six years old, he participated in fights at the Sky Arena and even earned the qualification to advance to the 200th floor. However, he chose to give it up.

At that ti, Killua had no knowledge of Nen.

Now, Ron is even stronger than six-year-old Killua—he is not weaker.

Anything that six-year-old Killua could do, Ron can do.

But Ron can also do things that six-year-old Killua could not.

Even without Nen, Ron's strength would place him among the masters in any normal martial arts arena.

Stealth steps, joint manipulation, snake movent... Ron can do all of them.

Moreover, Ron knows Nen.

If Ron finds himself in a dangerous situation during his fight with Sangis, he can always rely on Nen.

No need for anything else.

A single "Ten" use would be enough to turn the tide in Ron's favor.

It could be said that there is no possibility for Sangis to kill Ron—

even in the worst-case scenario.

In the unlikely event that Ron made a huge mistake, giving Sangis a chance to kill him, the butler nearby would intervene without hesitation.

"Let's begin."

Ron looked at Sangis and spoke.

Sangis narrowed his eyes slightly.

The next mont,

Sangis suddenly lunged toward Ron with extre speed, creating a sound akin to a sonic boom as he arrived in front of Ron, his fist raised high.

In response to Sangis's attack, Ron's figure vanished.

"Bang!"

Sangis's punch fell, but it only hit Ron's afterimage.

Ron's form had already moved away.

"Fast!"

Sangis's pupils contracted.

The battle between the two was intense.

Ron could sense it.

He and Sangis each had their own strengths and weaknesses.

Ron had the advantage in speed and reaction.

Sangis had the advantage in strength and experience.

But there was one more thing: Ron was constantly improving, while Sangis had no room for growth.

"Stealth Step!"

Suddenly, Ron's footsteps disappeared.

Sangis's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly looked around but couldn't find Ron's figure.

At that mont,

"Bang!"

Ron appeared from Sangis's blind spot.

By the ti Sangis realized what was happening, it was too late to dodge. He had no choice but to cross his arms to block.

Ron's fist landed.

It wasn't just the force of Ron's punch, but the combined impact of his charge, both forces adding together.

Sangis was sent stumbling back, taking several steps.

"Kid!"

Sangis glared at Ron.

Ron ca to a stop.

"We'll call it a day for now."

The butler stepped forward, positioning himself in front of Sangis.

Sangis snorted coldly.

Sangis was unwilling to accept this outco.

At first, he had looked down on Ron, thinking he wouldn't be much of a threat.

After all, he was just a nine-year-old brat.

Sangis, on the other hand, was a martial arts grandmaster.

But after the actual fight, Sangis realized how wrong he had been.

He had been completely off the mark.

Ron wasn't weak at all.

Not only was his physical fitness astonishing, but his martial arts techniques were also impressive.

Especially the stealth technique Ron had used at the end of the fight.

It was sothing Sangis had never seen before.

"This must be a secret technique of the Zoldyck family,"

a thought flashed through Sangis's mind.

The more rounds Sangis fought Ron, the more he realized how formidable Ron truly was.

Not only was Ron strong, but his talent was also extraordinary.

Sangis could clearly feel that, during their fight, Ron was learning from him, absorbing his experience and techniques—and doing so rapidly.

This made Sangis nervous.

Originally, Sangis's advantage had been slight.

If Ron absorbed all his techniques and experience, what would be left for Sangis to rely on?

Only strength?

But what good is strength alone?

Sangis knew clearly that if he didn't defeat Ron this ti, the chances of beating him in the future would only get slimr, because Ron was improving so fast.

"Kid, have you realized the difference between us and are you too scared to continue?"

A couple of thoughts crossed Sangis's mind.

One was to get past the butler and attack Ron again.

But after considering it, he decided against it.

If he did that, he would have no chance of surviving.

As for kidnapping Ron?

Sangis didn't think that would succeed.

So Sangis chose the second option: to provoke Ron.

Ron turned and glanced at Sangis.

He didn't say anything, just shook his head and walked back to his room.

The provocation was too childish.

A night passed quickly.

The next day,

Ron approached Sangis again.

"Let's begin."

The butler stepped aside.

Sangis charged forward. After yesterday's provocation failed, Sangis knew today was likely his last chance.

He had to seize it.

From the start, Sangis gave it his all.

This put a lot of pressure on Ron.

Ron clearly found himself at a disadvantage.

However, Sangis harbored a concern in his heart: the technique Ron had shown yesterday—he had not yet used it today, and Sangis was on alert for it.

But gradually, Ron started to adapt to Sangis's fierce assault.

Little by little, Ron began to turn the tide.

He even reversed the situation.

Sangis's techniques and experience gradually beca ineffective against Ron.

All that was left was raw strength.

But strength alone wasn't enough.

Bit by bit, Ron gained the upper hand.

When Sangis realized this, he found it hard to believe.

"How is this possible?"

Sangis had already sensed Ron's rapid progress yesterday. He had been determined to defeat Ron today—this was his only way of surviving and leaving the Zoldyck estate.

At the start, Sangis had gone all out.

He had also kept an eye out for Ron's Stealth Step.

Sangis believed that as long as he avoided Ron's surprise attack, he would win.

But Sangis hadn't anticipated that Ron hadn't used Stealth Step at all.

And without using Stealth Step, Ron had still managed to turn the tables and gain the upper hand.

The speed at which Ron improved was terrifying.

Sangis had never seen anyone like him before.

"This... this is the Zoldyck family?"

The butler watched the fight between Ron and Sangis without much change in expression, though he was sowhat surprised in his heart.

Butlers within the Zoldyck family communicate with each other.

There were many young mbers of the Zoldyck family.

It was widely agreed upon that Killua would be the next heir to the Zoldyck family, and his potential was considered higher than anyone else's.

Zeno had made that point very clear.

Thus, the way Zigzagen treated Illumi and Milluki was vastly different from how he treated Killua.
