"Wendy, unleash your strongest attack directly. An assault of that level won't suffice."

Wendy's expression turned serious.

"Alright."

More aura began to gather around her, layer after layer, building rapidly.

The next mont—

"Blade Storm!"

Countless blades surged toward Ron like a raging tempest.

Clang.

Clang.

Clang.

The barrage was far more ferocious than before, like a violent downpour.

But the difference in strength was far too great.

None of it had any effect on Ron.

"I lost," Wendy thought bitterly. She had already known the gap between them was huge, but after exchanging blows directly, she realized it was even wider than she had imagined.

She had gone all out.

And Ron hadn't even used any of his ability.

High above, a middle-aged man observed from his elevated seat. Dominica bowed slightly in respect.

"Ron has already reached S-rank, and he's obtained a Nen tool crafted from Rosgell's corpse. He wishes to trade the remaining remnants of Rosgell with Fiora—in exchange for information about the Dark Continent."

"Yes. That's exactly what Ron said," Dominica confird.

The king's gaze remained fixed below.

"Dominica, do you think we should proceed with this trade?"

Dominica hesitated, then answered, "Your Majesty, I believe we should. A new era is approaching, and right now, any additional intelligence on the Dark Continent gives us a major advantage. Rosgell… belongs to the past.

"Ron isn't an enemy of Fiora—on the contrary, he shares a close connection with Wendy.

"In the Dark Continent, even nations like ours don't hold significant advantages over the Zoldyck family."

The king gave a slight nod.

"Reasonable. Very well, Dominica—you'll handle this negotiation with Ron."

Dominica was caught off guard. He hadn't expected the king to agree so quickly—let alone appoint him directly for the task.

"…?"

"Yes. You."

"But..."

Dominica didn't think he had the power or qualifications for this responsibility.

"Dominica, sotis you need a bit more confidence. Even if you never beca the head of the Dragon Dojo, your presence there is still vital.

"Besides, Fiora is extrely busy right now—most key personnel are already committed elsewhere.

"And you're familiar with Ron. That's why you're best suited for this task.

"However, don't forget your position. Within reasonable limits, do your utmost to secure Fiora's interests. I trust you can do that."

Dominica nodded firmly.

"Understood, Your Majesty."

"Then go. Take my decree and have Rosgell's remains unsealed and brought to the capital."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Dominica returned to the Dragon Dojo far sooner than he had expected.

"Uncle Dominica!"

"Senior Dominica!"

He looked toward Ron.

"Ron, the king has agreed to the trade. However, before we proceed, we need to see proof of your sincerity. You claim to have information on the Dark Continent—but we have no idea what kind of information that is."

"No problem." Ron nodded. "Regarding the Dark Continent, there exists sothing called Pollutants.

"Images, symbols, even sounds—they can all cause contamination. They drive humans insane.

"Also, the Kurta clan is connected to the lifeforms of the Dark Continent. Similar to the Chira Ants, you could say their blood carries the essence of Dark Continent creatures.

"Fiora may want to try contacting Kurapika, a rising Blacklist Hunter—there might be unexpected insights to gain."

Dominica's brow twitched slightly.

He was aware of the first part, but the latter information was new to him—and it was valuable.

"Our people have already gone to retrieve the remaining parts of Rosgell's body. They'll be back in the capital soon. Two days. In two days, you can share the rest of your intel."

"Alright, Senior Dominica."

Ron had his own thoughts about why Dominica had been assigned to handle this trade.

It likely ant Fiora was already preparing to head toward the Dark Continent.

The Black Whale belonged to Kakin.

V5 had people aboard, but not many.

While V5 acknowledged Kakin's strength, they didn't trust them. So naturally, V5 would be organizing their own vessel to the Dark Continent. That would better serve their interests.

Otherwise, they'd be at the rcy of another power.

If Kakin could build the Black Whale, there was no reason V5 couldn't build their own.

Economically, V5 still held the upper hand.

Kakin was like a sudden, brash upstart.

V5, by contrast, was a long-established noble class.

Two days later, the team sent to retrieve Rosgell's remains returned—with his arm and leg. They arrived at the Dragon Dojo, where Dominica personally greeted them at the gate.

"Ron, the pieces are here. But before we hand them over, I want to see the Nen tool you ntioned."

"Of course."

Ron raised a hand and traced a symbol on the nearby wall.

A door appeared.

A ghostly figure stepped through.

One arm. One leg. Both fused into its torso. At the top, where a head should have been, sat a glowing lamp.

Dominica stared at the apparition, silently exhaling.

Then he gestured toward the two n beside him.

They stepped forward and placed a box before Ron.

Ron looked down and instantly recognized the familiar aura—it was Rosgell's.

"Specter."

The spirit moved forward and opened the box.

The arm and leg inside were fully intact.

It picked them up and attached them directly to its joints. Black threads erged from its body, stabbing into the limbs.

The connection sealed seamlessly.

As if they had never been severed.

With its body now whole, the spirit's aura surged once more.

Even without a head, the lamp it carried now acted as a perfect counterpart.

This was the Specter's complete form.

Ron examined it with satisfaction.

"The current Specter... might even surpass Chairman Netero."

"Flawless. Sequence 1."

He gave it a command.

The ghost stepped back into the doorway and returned to Sumas's space.
