Baise stood before Ron with evident respect. She knew about Ron's connection with Morena. More importantly, she understood Ron's strength. Within the world of Nen users, everything was determined by power—status, hierarchy, decisions—it all ca down to that single point.

Ron gave a slight nod, then turned to Morena behind him.

"Morena."

"Ron." Her eyes lit up with genuine softness.

"Now that I'm in Kakin, I'll leave the arrangents to you."

"Of course. Leave everything to ."

Morena wore a long dress and a hat sowhat similar to Kikyo's, concealing the long scar across her forehead. A sheer veil covered her face, adding an elegant softness to her presence.

"Let's get in the car. We can talk inside."

"Alright."

The two of them got into the back seat. Baise, still acting as their driver, kept her gaze fixed on the road ahead and didn't glance back once.

"My lord, where to?"

Morena nad a hotel.

"Ron, I've already arranged for you to stay at the hotel. The Heil-Ly Family wouldn't be a convenient place for you—and to be honest, living there wouldn't be comfortable. The people in that family… leave much to be desired."

Ron nodded. "I'll leave it to you."

By the ti they arrived, night had already fallen. Baise remained in the car and didn't follow them in. Morena accompanied Ron up to the room. Before Ron could reach for his own card, Morena had already paid.

"You're here because of the Dark Continent, aren't you?" she asked. "If you're looking for a ticket, I can get you one."

Morena didn't believe for a second that Ron was unaware of the Black Whale. At his level, a top-tier Nen user, his intelligence network would be expansive—and he was also a mber of the Zoldyck family, with even deeper access to information.

"Partially," Ron replied. "I'm definitely going to the Dark Continent. I heard that Kakin's ship might be the first to depart, so I ca to board it."

He continued, "Secondly, as you know, I'm a Nen Beast-type user. My cultivation path involves observing different locations to create new Nen beasts."

"Fiora, the United States of Sahelta, Minpo…"

"Kakin seed like a very suitable destination."

"And third, to be honest, it's been a long ti since we last saw each other. I wanted to see you."

As he spoke, Ron reached out and gently took Morena's hand. It was warm. Morena's face flushed lightly.

"You're not going back tonight, are you?" he asked.

"No…Not if you don't want to."

As night deepened, Baise remained in the car. When midnight passed and Morena still hadn't co down, Baise realized she likely wouldn't return that evening. Even so, she had no intention of leaving. She stayed in the vehicle, waiting.

Coming to Kakin, Baise was fully aware of her position. Morena was the only one she could rely on. Morena was the only one she needed to be loyal to. Everything she did revolved around Morena.

There was a rustling sound—like clothes slipping off a hanger and falling to the floor.

Morena felt as if she were floating on a small boat, rocking gently with the current.

The next morning, she opened her eyes. Ron was already awake.

"Ron, you've changed."

Ron raised his brow slightly. "How so?"

"It's hard to say, but I can feel it. You're… different from before."

Morena sighed.

"If only I weren't part of the Kakin royal family."

Her Second Prince status had brought her great power, but also countless restraints. Morena would've preferred none of that—she would rather be an ordinary person.

Ron put his arm around her shoulders.

"There will be a chance to change that. This expedition to the Dark Continent is that chance. It's not just Kakin—this journey will reshape the entire Human World. When that ti cos, the rules binding Second Princes like you won't apply anymore."

Before gaining access to the power of the Sequence, Ron hadn't been certain. But after coming into contact with it, he was sure. Sequence 1 alone was already that extraordinary.

The gap between Nen users and ordinary people was vast. A powerful Nen user could slaughter hundreds in monts. And yet, there were still ways for non-Nen users to kill them—just like how even the Chira Ant King was ultimately killed by the Poor Man's Rose.

But Sequence powers were different.

Once the power reached a sufficient level, human technology and weaponry would likely beco useless against a Sequence user.

If Morena could beco one of them, then even Kakin wouldn't be able to restrain her anymore.

Ron hesitated for a mont. Then made his decision.

"Morena, have you heard of the Sequence?"

Her expression turned confused. "Sequence? What's that?"

"A special kind of power," Ron explained. "Once you beco an S-rank Nen user, and then absorb the corresponding Ascension Relic, you can beco a Sequence user. The power it grants surpasses all known Nen tiers. It allows you to break through the limits of humanity."

"If you can beco a Sequence user, then your fate as a Second Prince won't control you anymore."

Morena's eyes lit up at that.

Ron had thought this through carefully. The reason he spoke so openly to Morena, but not to Wendy, ca down to their respective positions.

Wendy and the mbers of the Dragon Dojo were closely tied to the Kingdom of Fiora. That bond mattered. Morena, however, had no such attachnt to Kakin's royal family. If given the chance, she would abandon her Second Prince identity without hesitation.

That's why Ron could trust that anything he told Morena would never reach the ears of the other Kakin royals.

Wendy, on the other hand, might end up revealing critical information in a crisis—especially if the people of Fiora were in danger on the Dark Continent.

Sure, Ron could have forced her to stay silent. But doing so would have been deeply unfair.

To expect Wendy to watch her companions die, knowing she could save them by speaking up but not being allowed to, just because of a promise—that would be cruel.

Human nature doesn't hold up well under such tests.

And people who deliberately put others through those tests are the worst kind of people.

Morena cald herself.

"But to beco a Sequence user… I have to be an S-rank Nen user first, right? Can I really reach that level?"

As an A-rank Nen user, Morena understood all too well just how far she still had to go.
