Ye Chenfeng realized that if he had held the gray longsword earlier, its lighter weight wouldn’t have allowed him to resist the force even by embedding it into the ground.
In this battle, Ye Chenfeng faced difficulties wielding the Black Xuan Sword due to his current state. Placing the sword aside, his storage ring flashed, and the High Grade magic artifact gray longsword appeared in his hand once again.

Returning to the ground, the Ocean Gathering Realm blaze beast’s eyes showed nothing but savage light. Even if it endured Ye Chenfeng’s Dragon Soars Nine Heavens, at most it’d sustain injuries, not life-threatening harm. Yet, instinctively repelled by the cold, the beast had dodged.
Perhaps feeling humiliated by its earlier evasion, the blaze beast’s aura grew sharper. It lunged at Ye Chenfeng again while he launched another Dragon Soars Nine Heavens.
This ti, facing the incoming white dragon, the blaze beast didn’t evade. Its massive jaws opened, revealing a giant fireball that materialized before it. With a flick of its head, the fireball collided with the white dragon. “Boom!” Ice and fire energies exploded in all directions, spreading through the space.
As the fireball and the white dragon clashed, the Ocean Gathering Realm blaze beast didn’t pause. It quickly appeared beside Ye Chenfeng and swept its tail violently. “Bang!” Ye Chenfeng’s waist took the full impact, sending his body flying through the air.
Ye Chenfeng felt several ribs shatter in his waist, yet he endured the pain. The gray longsword in his hands burst with radiant white light, transforming into a shooting star aid at the ground-based blaze beast: “Flowing Light Sword!”
The Ocean Gathering Realm blaze beast didn’t anticipate that Ye Chenfeng, despite being swept airborne, would launch an attack. The speed of Flowing Light Sword was so great that the beast had no ti to dodge. Even as a Lower Grade Earth battle technique, its power packed a considerable punch.
“Thud!”
The gray longsword pierced the left side of the blaze beast’s head. Yet before Ye Chenfeng could rejoice, he realized the beast showed no signs of dying—the strike had missed by re inches from penetrating its brain. A direct hit to the brain would’ve certainly been fatal.
With its left-side head impaled, the blaze beast flew into a frenzy, roaring furiously. Sonic waves crashed into Ye Chenfeng, sending him hurtling toward the Hundred Beasts Pool.
Unable to control his falling body, Ye Chenfeng focused on the Black Xuan Sword on the ground. Pushing the spiritual energy river through his ridians to its limits, he felt a tearing pain throughout his body. Extending his right hand toward the sword, he generated suction that pulled the Black Xuan Sword into his grasp.
Ignoring the pain of his ripping ridians, Ye Chenfeng pushed the spiritual energy river until blood trickled from his mouth. The Black Xuan Sword in his grip emitted faint black light that shot toward the Ocean Gathering Realm blaze beast.
Ye Chenfeng once again deployed Flowing Light Sword, but the imnse weight of the Black Xuan Sword severely reduced its speed. Yet, the frenzied blaze beast was preoccupied with expelling the gray longsword embedded in its skull. Noticing the Black Xuan Sword too late, it found the weapon already nearing its body.
“Bang!”
The Black Xuan Sword smashed into the blaze beast’s head, sending it flying as blood poured from its wounds. It lay motionless, unconscious but not yet dead, the blow having stunned it.
“Splash!”
As the Ocean Gathering Realm blaze beast temporarily fell unconscious, Ye Chenfeng’s body plumted into the scalding Hundred Beasts Pool. The searing heat felt ready to lt his flesh and blood. His consciousness blurred, and his body sank toward the pool’s depths.
