Capítulo 1712: Chapter 1701: Comfort? They Must Die!
In the valley.
It was quiet.
A gentle breeze blew the leaves from the ground into the air.
Ye Chenfeng held the Qingyun Sword in his right hand again, his gaze fixed on Li Yueshuang and i Tingting, who were in a daze. He had just witnessed these two won taunting relentlessly.
Since they chose to beco Ye Chenfeng’s enemies, Ye Chenfeng would never show rcy to his foes.
Seeing Ye Chenfeng walking toward them, Li Yueshuang and i Tingting trembled violently, the daze on their faces replaced by fear. They could never have imagined Ye Chenfeng would be so powerful, even forcing two of the four mysterious youths, including Cheng Qingtian, to flee while the other two died.
Li Yueshuang and i Tingting had originally chosen to serve Cheng Qingtian and his companions, believing it unquestionably the right choice. They had been mocking Ye Chenfeng just monts ago, only now realizing how terribly wrong their choice was.
As Ye Chenfeng drew closer, Li Yueshuang and i Tingting couldn’t summon even a trace of resistance—the strength Ye Chenfeng displayed paralyzed them with fear. However, they didn’t want to die, realizing too late how foolish it was to beco hostile toward Ye Chenfeng over a dead Shao Xiong.
“Tap! Tap! Tap!”
The sound of Ye Chenfeng’s footsteps seed like a summons from hell to Li Yueshuang and i Tingting.
Li Yueshuang and i Tingting’s faces were filled with endless regret. The two of them knelt before Ye Chenfeng, pleading, “We know we were wrong; please spare us this once.”
Ye Chenfeng, holding the Qingyun Sword, stopped before Li Yueshuang and i Tingting and said indifferently, “You two must have already sided with those four, right? If you’d chosen to fight alongside Yu Shuiyao and them, even if you resented , I might have spared you. What reason should I have now to let you go?”
Kneeling on the ground, Li Yueshuang and i Tingting turned pale as paper. Li Yueshuang looked toward Yu Shuiyao with a glimr of hope in her eyes and pleaded, “Sister Shui Yao, have you forgotten? We’ve always been good sisters! I really know I was wrong, I truly do.”
i Tingting quickly added, “Sister Shui Yao, we promise never to repeat the sa mistake in the future.”
From a distance, Yu Shuiyao looked conflicted, biting her lip tightly.
Ye Chenfeng turned to glance at Yu Shuiyao and said, “Do you really intend for to let them go? Don’t forget, if I hadn’t arrived in ti, you’d have beco nothing more than soone else’s plaything, even if you didn’t die.”
Upon hearing this, Yu Shuiyao’s hesitation vanished instantly, and she said, “You can deal with them as you see fit.”
Ye Chenfeng smiled, shrugged, and said, “I’m satisfied with that answer. But even if you wanted to spare them, I wouldn’t give you any face whatsoever. An enemy deserves to die.”
Yu Shuiyao’s face turned red with humiliation, and Ye Chenfeng waved the Qingyun Sword in his hand.
Li Yueshuang and i Tingting, kneeling on the ground, tried to dodge, but Ye Chenfeng’s Qingyun Sword was too swift. They could only watch helplessly as the sword approached, their eyes widening with despair.
So mistakes can be forgiven.
But so mistakes, once made, must be paid for with one’s life.
“Sss!”
The Qingyun Sword sliced through the fair necks of Li Yueshuang and i Tingting, leaving a bloody line.
The bloodline widened.
Blood sprayed.
Li Yueshuang and i Tingting’s heads were knocked to the ground by the rush of blood from their necks.
Ye Chenfeng didn’t even spare the corpses a glance, returning to Yu Shuiyao, Li Yanyan, and Zuo Feibai.
Yu Shuiyao and Li Yanyan had so healing pills in their Qiankun Bags. After taking the pills, their injuries hadn’t fully healed but were enough to allow them to stand and walk.
Zuo Feibai’s limbs had all been broken by Qiao Xiongqiang, and his internal injuries were severe. His heart injuries made his breathing weak, and regular elixirs were useless.
Yu Shuiyao had a High Grade Third-Rank Healing Pill, which she fed to Zuo Feibai, slightly restoring his breath.
Yu Shuiyao and Li Yanyan checked Zuo Feibai’s limbs, shaking their heads. His bones were crushed to powder, irrecoverable even with a Fourth-Rank elixir.
Moreover, Zuo Feibai’s injuries were so severe that he had only a few days left, a fact Yu Shuiyao and Li Yanyan understood well.
Ye Chenfeng spoke to Zuo Feibai, “Feibai, don’t worry, I promise to restore you to your original state.”
Having taken a Third-Rank Healing Pill, Zuo Feibai weakly replied, “Ancestor, I believe in you.”
To Yu Shuiyao and Li Yanyan, it seed Ye Chenfeng was rely comforting Zuo Feibai. Although they knew he had a knack for detoxification, they had no idea he was an Alchemist.
Ye Chenfeng carried Zuo Feibai on his back and said, “We must leave here imdiately; staying any longer is dangerous. I only frightened them away earlier, and I’m not entirely sure I can defeat them.”
Upon hearing this, Yu Shuiyao and Li Yanyan’s unspoken doubts were resolved. It turned out Ye Chenfeng hadn’t pursued the victory because he’d only managed to scare them off.
Though their injuries weren’t fully healed, Yu Shuiyao and Li Yanyan were capable of traveling.
Ye Chenfeng and the others quickly left the valley.
…
About an incense stick’s ti after Ye Chenfeng and company left the valley.
Two figures swiftly appeared in the valley—it was none other than the returning Cheng Qingtian and Jin Wenqi!
Seeing the valley empty save for the bodies of Li Yueshuang and i Tingting, they were almost consud by rage.
After leaving with the bodies of Qiao Xiongqiang and Pang Xingfan, Cheng Qingtian and Jin Wenqi felt sothing amiss. After so thought, they realized the flaw in Ye Chenfeng’s plan. If he could truly kill them, why hadn’t he pursued them? They didn’t believe Ye Chenfeng was a saint.
Consequently, Cheng Qingtian and Jin Wenqi hurried back, realizing they had fallen into a trap—a sche by a re Earth Profound Realm cultivator.
With veins bulging on their foreheads, Cheng Qingtian and Jin Wenqi tried to quell the terrifying power surging within, their eyes filled with growing murderous intent.
After a mont, they cald themselves, suppressing their formidable power. Jin Wenqi’s refined face twitched slightly, his injuries driving him to curse Ye Chenfeng. He said coldly, “We were toyed with by a low-level Earth Profound Realm cultivator? If our Tian Xuan Realm friends knew, we’d be a laughingstock. If not for our suppressed strength, we’d obliterate that brat with a flick of the fingers.”
Cheng Qingtian adjusted his breathing repeatedly, nearly exploding with fury; his eyes blinked with a cold glint. Inside, he felt oppressed, frustrated beyond asure, as he hissed, “Wenqi, our primary goal now is to obtain the treasures in this Dragon Clan ancestral land. Perhaps there’s a Dragon Clan inheritance here; if we could obtain it, we’d be paragons of destiny in the Tian Xuan Realm.”
“As for that brat and his friends, we can hunt for treasure and their tracks simultaneously. That brat must die.”
