A fierce golden light burst forth from the midst of the ghost cultivators, and layers of palm prints imprinted into the foreheads of individual ghost cultivators.
This Soul-Return Seal, freshly imparted to Ye Chenfeng by Old White and Old Black, could temporarily sever the controlling ghost-raising thod, allowing the forced ghost cultivators to regain consciousness and autonomy.

Hearing Ye Chenfeng’s words, the ghost cultivators’ eyes flashed with determination. For days, they’d been forced to devour cultivators, only for their absorbed strength to be sucked away by their controller. He couldn’t outrun these ghost cultivators either. With terror growing as the terrifying ghost cultivators closed in, he continued to muster his aura from within, but it was completely overshadowed by theirs.
Just as he was about to be devoured by the twenty ghost cultivators, the eagle-nosed man shouted in horror at Ye Chenfeng, "Make them stop. Do you know who I am? I am an Elder of Fla Heaven Valley, and I can overlook today’s events."
Fla Heaven Valley?

The eagle-nosed man lay on the ground, barely alive, with most of his flesh gone. He couldn’t stand and was only barely clinging to life; even without intervention, he wouldn’t survive until dawn.
After rendering the eagle-nosed man half dead, the twenty ghost cultivators gathered before Ye Chenfeng, surprisingly without looking down on him because of his strength. They stood respectfully, watching Ye Chenfeng, waiting for his next words, placing their hopes on him.
