It seems that Cao Yunwei and Cao Xiaodong don’t think Ye Chenfeng can offer them any recompense.
However, Ye Chenfeng didn’t mind much. All he needed to do was fulfill his word when the ti ca, for he was always soone who repaid kindness.
Previously, when he reached the gates of Floating Cloud City and entered the scrapyard, Ye Chenfeng tried to enter the Chaos Ring, but unfortunately, a force continued to pull at him. He could only take things out from the Chaos Ring and couldn’t put anything in.
Since Cao Yunwei was so curious about the outside world, Ye Chenfeng vividly described it to her.
During the description, Cao Yunwei listened carefully while applying healing potions to aid Ye Chenfeng’s recovery.
This healing potion was indeed quite good. According to Cao Yunwei, the ingredients to make it were found only in the Dream Space, and even there they were extrely rare. No wonder Ye Chenfeng, as an Eighth Grade Alchemist, couldn’t identify the components of this healing potion, as it was unique to the Dream Space.
Being an Eighth Grade Alchemist, Ye Chenfeng could discern that the crafting thod of this healing potion was quite crude. Thankfully, the outstanding materials compensated for the severe lack of craftsmanship.
This healing potion specifically targeted bone healing. As the dicinal power slowly penetrated Ye Chenfeng’s body, he felt a warm, comfortable feeling within his completely fractured bones, indicating the potion was working.
It appears there are quite a few good things in the Dream Space, at least the Spirit Grass used to craft this healing potion is notably comndable.
After Cao Yunwei used up the healing potion on Ye Chenfeng, a certain longing sparkled in her beautiful eyes, likely from hearing Ye Chenfeng’s description of the world outside. She seed more yearning towards the outside world, saying, "Judging by your body full of fractured bones, you’ll likely recover in about five days under this healing potion’s effects. However, it won’t help much with your torn ridians. Restoring the ridians won’t be easy."
From one side, Cao Xiaodong scoffed and said, "Sis, why bother telling him all this? I think he’s just a braggart. He’s only thirty years old, so even if his ridians recover, then what? In the Dream Space, can he possibly improve his strength? He will just end up stuck in the scrapyard for life."
This dilapidated house actually had three rooms. Cao Yunwei was quite familiar with her brother’s character. Although his words might sotis be harsh, he was absolutely kind-hearted. She walked into her own room; she could only help Ye Chenfeng this much. Whether Ye Chenfeng could survive in the scrapyard was beyond her ability, as she and Cao Xiaodong were ordinary people without any cultivation.
After Cao Yunwei and Cao Xiaodong were driven out of Floating Cloud City into the scrapyard, they survived thanks to a Spirit Talisman left by their parents. This special Spirit Talisman didn’t require Spiritual Energy to activate. It was a specially crafted talisman, and its power wasn’t low. Once activated, it could severely harm a powerful cultivator of the Nirvana Realm Fifth Heaven, allowing them to remain unhard in the scrapyard.
After Cao Yunwei returned to her room, though Cao Xiaodong complained, he still helped Ye Chenfeng lie down. Ye Chenfeng rather liked this kid, despite his tendency to speak harshly.
In the blink of an eye, five days had passed.
During these five days, Ye Chenfeng’s completely fractured bones had almost fully healed, and he could stand up and walk without issue. The ridians in his body had also healed sowhat, but they were now extrely chaotic. Many broken ridians were even knotted. The Chaos Ring contained Elixir Pills and Spirit Grass to restore ridians, but these were not sufficient; a complete restructuring of the ridians was essential.
Restructuring the entire network of ridians was no easy task. Urgently wanting to leave the Dream Space and return to the Ancient City of Heavenly Origin, he knew this couldn’t be rushed. In order to restructure his ridians, he must stimulate them to break, then reorganize them smoothly.
Now that his bones were completely restored, it was ti to reorganize and restructure his ridians.
Through these five days.
Cao Yunwei and Cao Xiaodong frequently spoke with Ye Chenfeng. Particularly Cao Xiaodong, who openly showed contempt but inevitably engaged in lengthy conversations with Ye Chenfeng, thereby granting him greater insight into the Dream Space.
In the Dream Space, there was a special kind of monster.
Everybody here called this monster the Fla Demon Fish. Cultivators from Floating Cloud City periodically went out to capture Fla Demon Fish.
The inner core of the Fla Demon Fish was imnsely beneficial to cultivators, alongside other parts that greatly enhanced their abilities. Consequently, Fla Demon Fish were widely sought-after in the Dream Space.
However, the Fla Demon Fish boasted terrifying attack prowess, with the most powerful ones ranging from the Heavenly God Realm to the Divine King Realm. Should a swarm of Fla Demon Fish appear, even Floating Cloud City’s three City Lords might find themselves in peril.
Therefore, every ti Fla Demon Fish hunting occurred, Floating Cloud City ford a team for capturing them, selecting individuals from the scrapyard as bait. These individuals were ant to attract the Fla Demon Fish, essentially implying that people from the scrapyard were disposable sacrifices for the city’s cultivators.
Historically, none of those sent as bait returned alive; being chosen from the scrapyard was akin to receiving a death sentence in the eyes of others.
Given the individuals in the scrapyard were overwhelmingly weak, with so lacking any strength, being sent as bait for the Fla Demon Fish amounted to a suicide mission.
Moreover, according to Cao Xiaodong, Contribution Points were the currency in circulation within Floating Cloud City. Anyone who had contributed to the city received a certain amount of Contribution Points, which could be exchanged for things like Elixirs within the City. It made sense that, given Floating Cloud City’s long-standing existence from the Ancient Era till now, so alchemists and others had been pulled in here, making the presence of alchemists in the City entirely plausible.
Presently, Ye Chenfeng’s priority was swiftly regaining strength. Notably, none of Floating Cloud City’s three City Lords had broken through to the Divine Venerable Realm. Once he recovered his strength, he’d establish himself in the city, paving the way to find an exit without constraint. Ye Chenfeng was determined to leave the Dream Space because there were many waiting for him back in Central State!
