Now reading: Chapter 717 - 717 715 from The Strongest Dandy in the City, a Urban novel by Left Ear Yearning.

717: 715 717: 715 As ti went by,

the effects of the Five Poisons Powder completely manifested inside Han Yanyi and Li Dongi’s bodies.

The two were writhing on the ground as if mad, painfully howling from their throats.

Their bodies tumbled across the floor with increasing speed, flailing for roughly three minutes, before a fresh spray of blood burst from their mouths.

Their bodies stiffened dramatically, eyes wide open, mouths slightly agape, as if they had gone to et the King of Hell.

Silence descended like falling needles in the grand hall of the Han Sect.

The death of Han Yanyi and Li Dongi seed as if they died like dogs, striking fear into everyone’s hearts like a heavy hamr—especially Han Chengde, who lay half-dead on the ground.

His heart was a tumult of emotions, and a sharp pain in his chest forced him into a violent coughing fit: “Cough, cough, cough, cough…”

This bout of coughing broke the solemn silence in the hall.

Holding Han Chuxue in his arms, Ye Chenfeng watched as Han Yanyi and Li Dongi died.

Deep-seated hatred bottled up for many years began to dissipate from Han Chuxue, who inadvertently let out a breath of relief, relieved that Ye Chenfeng had not exerted so much effort in vain.

“Young Master Ye, please also handle these final affairs,” Uncle Wang pointed at the three Han Sect elders and said.

“These three old bastards have always stood by Han Yanyi, that beast.

Although they didn’t participate in the conspiracy to murder the Sect Leader, they no longer deserve to stay in the Han Sect.”

Upon witnessing the death of Han Yanyi and his wife, the three elders of the Han Sect regarded Ye Chenfeng as a devil incarnate.

Especially when his gaze fell upon them, their legs imdiately went weak, their bodies trembling uncontrollably, as they concurrently pleaded, “Mr.

Ye, spare our lives, Mr.

Ye, spare our lives.”

“Chu Xue, how do you think these three old bastards should be dealt with?” Ye Chenfeng asked the Han Chuxue in his embrace.

“Chenfeng, I will follow your lead,” Han Chuxue said, docile as a lamb, completely devoted to her man, Ye Chenfeng.

Ye Chenfeng released his hold on Han Chuxue and his figure instantly dashed toward the three elders of the Han Sect, striking each of their chests with a forceful palm.

Sending them flying backward, he then bellowed, “I have crippled your cultivation.

From now on, you are no longer people of the Han Sect.

Get out of the Han Sect imdiately!”

The three elders, sent flying, were thankful to still be alive.

How could they dare linger in the grand hall?

They scurried out like dogs.

After the three Han Sect elders had left the grand hall, Ye Chenfeng addressed all the disciples remaining, “This matter doesn’t concern you, and I won’t make things difficult for you.

Those who wish to stay in the Han Sect can do so.

Those who wish to leave, we will not stop you.”

To these Han Sect disciples, who ruled the sect was of little consequence to them.

Moreover, with Ye Chenfeng having made his intentions so clear, so of the female disciples had already been attracted by Ye Chenfeng’s strength and charm.

They wondered if, in the future, Ye Chenfeng would rule the Han Sect.

In the Ancient Martial World, it was normal for a man to have several wives and concubines.

They thought that if they could beco a concubine of Ye Chenfeng in the future, they would be incredibly happy.

Thus, the only way this might happen was if they stayed in the Han Sect, leading the female disciples to one by one express their desire to remain.

Seeing that the female disciples had spoken up, the male disciples also expressed their wish to stay in the Han Sect.

Of course, Ye Chenfeng was unaware of the thoughts of these Han Sect female disciples, so he said, “Good.

Since you all wish to stay in the Han Sect, then everyone is dismissed.”

After the Han Sect disciples left the grand hall, only the mbers of the Wing Guard Team, Ye Chenfeng, Han Chuxue, Sun Hengfei, Sun Xiaoli, Uncle Wang, and Han Chengde remained.

Han Chuxue’s beautiful eyes flashed with a mont of pity as she looked upon Han Chengde lying on the ground.

Yet, recalling the deeds of the man who was supposedly her grandfather, and how he had tried to attack her just before, resolve hardened in her eyes once again.

She spoke coldly, “From now on, you are no longer my grandfather.

However, you may continue staying in the Han Sect.”

Ye Chenfeng did not intervene in Han Chuxue’s decision, because earlier, after he had kicked Han Chengde, the old man had suffered severe internal injuries and it was doubtful he would ever break through in his cultivation again.

Furthermore, Han Chengde would no longer be able to peak his True Energy Force without aggravating his internal injuries.

His power, forrly on the brink of Innate, was now reduced to the equivalent of High Grade Heaven Rank.

To Han Chuxue, and to the Han Sect, he no longer posed any threat.

“Uncle Wang, please arrange for us to stay at the Han Sect tonight,” Ye Chenfeng said to Uncle Wang.

Uncle Wang hurriedly replied, “Certainly, Young Master Ye, I’ll imdiately have the disciples of the Han Sect prepare rooms for you.

Then, release all those who are locked in the dungeons.

I never thought I’d live to see this day in my old age.

I really must thank you, Young Master Ye.

You are our Han Sect’s savior!”

After Ye Chenfeng and the others left the main hall, only Han Chengde remained.

His turbid eyes blankly stared upwards, and his withered lips moved silently as a self-mocking smile appeared on his face.

He murmured to himself, “Retribution, retribution!

Could this be my retribution?”

While Uncle Wang was arranging accommodation for Sun Hengfei, Sun Xiaoli, and mbers of the Wing Guard Team, Ye Chenfeng followed Han Chuxue to a courtyard.

This courtyard was overgrown with weeds, and there sat a dusty house with its door covered in gri.

Upon entering the courtyard, Han Chuxue’s beautiful eyes began to redden.

She took step by step towards the house, reached out, and pushed open the door.

She was greeted by a scene she knew all too well—her forr room, now covered with a thick layer of dust on the table, chairs, bed, and other objects.

“Chenfeng, this is my old room.

I want to clean it now,” Han Chuxue said softly.

Ye Chenfeng nodded and replied, “Let help you.”

So, Ye Chenfeng and Han Chuxue first cleaned up the outside and inside of the house, replaced all the bedding with new ones, and finally cleared all the weeds in the courtyard.

After all these chores were done, three hours had already passed.

Once they had finished, Han Chuxue was drenched in sweat, so she quickly prepared a tub of hot water in the room and asked Ye Chenfeng to wait a mont.

After she bathed, she would prepare bathwater for Ye Chenfeng.

However, no sooner had Han Chuxue taken off her clothes and stepped into the tub than Ye Chenfeng walked behind the screen that covered the tub and began to strip off his clothes in all seriousness.

Han Chuxue, inside the tub, promptly asked in embarrassnt, “Chenfeng, what are you doing?”

With a “you-know-what-I’m-doing” expression, Ye Chenfeng answered, “Of course, I’m taking a bath.”

Upon hearing this, Han Chuxue’s cheeks flushed even redder.

She had forgotten that Ye Chenfeng was a rogue.

She should have kicked him out of the room and locked the door.

Although she and Ye Chenfeng had already been intimately involved, the thought of bathing together made her heart pound with unease.

“Chenfeng, I’ve finished washing.

Is it alright if you bathe next?

Or shall I let you go first?” asked a flustered Han Chuxue.

Whilst Han Chuxue spoke, Ye Chenfeng had already stripped and stepped directly into the tub.

Pressing one hand down to prevent Han Chuxue from getting out of the tub, he said, “Chu Xue, after all I’ve done for you, don’t you want to treat to a little reward?”

Blushing, Han Chuxue retorted, “You scoundrel, all you ever do is bully .”

“If not his wife, whom else should a husband bully?” Ye Chenfeng shalessly chuckled.

Just as Ye Chenfeng was about to act on his intentions, he suddenly felt that the True Energy Force within Han Chuxue’s body was sowhat strange and very unstable.

He used his Soul Force to check her body, which confird that her Heaven Rank High Grade cultivation was achieved through so special thod.

The flas of desire within him slowly dissipated as he unblinkingly stared at Han Chuxue and asked, “Chu Xue, do you truly see as your man?” (To be continued.
