When Chen Bin arrived at the County Committee and County Governnt office, he imdiately went to report.
He was soon assigned to the Comprehensive Second Section, responsible for drafting various docunts.
The section chief was nad Zheng Yifeng, a man in his thirties.
He wasn't tall, had a slight belly, and was exceedingly kind.
Whenever he spoke, he always had a Buddha-like smile, looking like Maitreya Buddha.
This left a very good impression on Chen Bin.
Upon entering the office, Chen Bin noticed that everyone shared the sa workspace.

On his way to the cafeteria with Qian Lang, Chen Bin saw the woman he had encountered at the dorm yesterday again.
She was dressed in a white casual outfit, carrying a low-profile black bag.
Her ponytail swayed as she walked leisurely, looking very much like a recent college graduate.
When their eyes t, she smiled faintly, appearing very friendly.
After the woman walked away, Qian Lang stared at Chen Bin in shock.
"What the f***, how do you know Director Xu?"
"I just asked her for directions at the dorm yesterday. We only exchanged a couple of sentences and don't actually know each other."
Chen Bin spoke the truth, completely candid.
"Oh, so that's how it is. I thought you two were close."
At this point, Qian Lang glanced around.
Once confirming no one else was around, he continued quietly, "If you get the chance, you should try to build a good relationship with Director Xu."
"Why?"
"Her husband is the director of the County Health Bureau, and her family background is incredibly strong!"
Chen Bin nodded, feeling that there was truth in these words.
After all, in today's world, rising to success without connections wasn't easy.
Reaching the cafeteria, the two had just finished getting their food when a curvaceous woman walked over.
With a slender waist, long legs, and an impressive bust,
her looks, however, were rather average and didn't qualify her among beautiful won.
"Oh wow, when did we get such a handso guy here? Old Qian, why didn't you introduce him?"
Staring at the woman's chest, Qian Lang swallowed hard and answered with a grin.
"Lili, he's my bro, Chen Bin, who just started yesterday."
Nodding, the woman extended her delicate hand toward Chen Bin.
"Hello there, Little Brother Chen Bin. I'm Dong Lili. You can call Sister Lili."
Forcing an awkward laugh, Chen Bin quickly shook her hand.
Dong Lili's fingers were incredibly soft and smooth, almost comparable in sensation to Zhao Xini's.
"Nice to et you, Sister Lili!"
After the greeting, Dong Lili didn't linger and left directly.
Watching her snake-like waist sway as she walked away, Qian Lang's eyes were fixated.
He leaned toward Chen Bin and whispered, "There are three 'mosts' in our County Committee and County Governnt. Do you know who they are?"
Chen Bin shook his head, completely puzzled.
He had just started; how could he possibly know?
With a sly smile, Qian Lang began to explain.
"The woman we saw on our way to the cafeteria—Director Xu Ruoxuan—is the most beautiful. Dong Lili is the most flirtatious. And as for the 'most lewd'..."
At that mont, County Magistrate Sun Cheng walked into the cafeteria from outside.
Qian Lang imdiately greeted him.
"Hello, Magistrate Sun!"
Seeing this, Chen Bin quickly followed with, "Hello, Magistrate!"
Sun Cheng smiled and nodded at the two before heading upstairs.
Right after, Chen Bin asked,
"Who is the 'most lewd'? You haven't told yet."
Spreading his hands, Qian Lang replied with a grin,
"I already did."
Seeing the peculiar smile on his face, Chen Bin instinctively glanced at Sun Cheng, now heading upstairs.
Clearly, no further explanation was needed!
After finishing lunch, Chen Bin suddenly felt the urge to relieve himself and excused himself from Qian Lang to find the restroom.
Just as he reached the restroom entrance, he ran into Wang Jun coming out.
Chen Bin quickly greeted him, "Hello, Secretary Wang!"
Wang Jun rely glanced at him without speaking, his eyes brimming with disdain.
Damn it!
Chen Bin cursed silently before heading straight into the restroom.
As he settled into a stall, he overheard two people entering the restroom, chatting as they ca in.
"Did you notice? Secretary Wang hasn't been in a good mood the past few days. I bet this promotion has nothing to do with him."
"That's really strange. He's so young and already in that position. He must have connections above. How could he be left out of this reshuffle?"
"Who knows? My guess is he must've offended soone. But then again, in politics, things are always tricky."
Listening to their conversation, Chen Bin finally understood why Wang Jun had been so gloomy lately.
He wasn't particularly knowledgeable about promotions, but the first person who ca to his mind was his aunt Gao Wanjun.
If he were the one seeking a promotion, it probably wouldn't be as difficult, right?
After using the restroom, Chen Bin returned to his dorm.
He had just sat down when a knock ca at the door.
Thinking it was Qian Lang forgetting his key, he imdiately got up to open the door.
To his surprise, it was Dong Lili, whom he had parted with at the cafeteria not long ago.
"Sister Lili, what brings you here?"
Seeing Chen Bin's stunned expression, Dong Lili smiled faintly.
"Who else did you expect? Your little girlfriend?"
Saying this, she walked straight into the room and sat down on Chen Bin's bed.
Closing the door, Chen Bin awkwardly scratched his head.
"Don't tease . I've never even dated. Where would I have a girlfriend?"
As he sat on the bed's other side, Dong Lili scooted closer to him.
"What? Are you afraid of ?"
"N-No, not at all."
"Then why did you sit so far from just now?"
This question left Chen Bin speechless and unsure how to respond.
Suddenly, appearing casual, Dong Lili rested her fair, slender hand on Chen Bin's thigh.
A strange sensation surged through him.
Just as Chen Bin was about to speak, Dong Lili suddenly asked,
"Little Brother Chen Bin, what's your relationship with Secretary Wang?"
A sinking feeling hit Chen Bin's heart, and he imdiately beca cautious.
He'd only been here a day and barely interacted with Wang Jun.
Why would she ask such a question?
"Secretary Wang? I don't know him at all."
