Cai Weiguo still wore that detached and aloof expression.
"What are you pretending to be dumb for? I don’t understand what you’re saying."
Ye Hong knew that the other party was forcing him to bring up the issue of Ye Pei being rendered useless.

With a cold laugh, Cai Weiguo remained utterly disdainful.
"If your son were remotely normal, would my daughter have done such a thing? Retribution! This is the Ye family’s retribution!"
With that, he stood and walked out directly.
The mont the office doors shut, Ye Hong, consud by rage, overturned everything on his desk onto the ground.
His hatred for Cai Weiguo reached its peak.
At the sa ti, Ye Pei could no longer endure the tornt within his heart.
Like a walking corpse, he staggered to Cai Weiguo’s house.
Since it was office hours, neither Cai Weiguo nor Fan Qin was ho.
Cai Lixia was sitting alone on the couch watching TV.
Hearing a knock at the door, she instinctively opened it.

"You... What’s wrong with you?"
Ye Pei grabbed Cai Lixia by the collar and demanded fiercely.
"Tell , whose child is it?"
Cai Lixia turned her head aside. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"Don’t think I don’t know—you’re carrying soone else’s child! Tell , WHOSE child is it?!"
Listening to Ye Pei’s hysterical tone, Cai Lixia too beca enraged.
She forcefully shoved him away, snapping angrily.
"So what if I’m pregnant with soone else’s child? You know damn well what’s wrong with you! Not even a real man, and you still pursued ? Fraud! You and your father are both frauds!"
Ye Pei ignored her entirely and continued demanding.
"Tell ! Whose child is it?!"
"Hah, it’s not yours anyway!"
Once again, Ye Pei seized Cai Lixia by the collar, his voice seething with nace.
"I’ll ask you one last ti—whose child is it?"
"I’m not telling you!"
"Bitch!"
Without hesitation, Ye Pei slapped her across the face.
And then, he began raining blows and kicking her relentlessly.
Cai Lixia couldn’t fight back. All she could do was curl up on the floor, clutching her head.
Still unsatisfied, Ye Pei dragged her by the collar and threw her onto the couch.
Then, clutching her neck with his left hand, he began slapping her furiously with his right.
"Speak! Is the child Chen Bin’s? If you don’t, I’ll beat you to death!"
Though Cai Lixia felt herself suffocating, she refused to yield.
"Yes, it’s Chen Bin’s! He’s not only handso but well-endowed too. Every ti we do it, I feel like I’m in heaven. And you? You’re nothing but a useless—"
"You fucking whore!"
Before she could finish, Ye Pei went berserk, throttling her neck with all his might.
The difference between a man and a woman was stark at this mont.
No matter how Cai Lixia struggled, she couldn’t break free.
Soon, her hands fell limp against the couch, showing no signs of resistance.
Ye Pei, like a madman, stared wildly with unhinged eyes.
"Dead? Serves you right! Now I’ll carve out that bastard from your belly and send it to Chen Bin as a gift!"
With those words, he reached for the fruit knife on the table.
Just as he was about to plunge it into Cai Lixia’s abdon, a scream ca from the doorway.
"Ah! Lixia, what... what happened?!"
Fan Qin had returned ho early from work, just in ti to see Ye Pei holding the blade over Cai Lixia’s stomach.
Driven by maternal instinct, she felt no fear.
Instead, she lunged forward like a madwoman and shoved Ye Pei aside.
"Lixia, Lixia! What’s wrong? Don’t scare Mommy!"
However, no matter how much she shook her, Cai Lixia gave no response.
Ye Pei, anwhile, laughed maniacally.
"She’s dead. That whore is dead! Why don’t you join her?"
As he spoke, he slashed at the back of Fan Qin’s neck.
Shlick!
Bright red blood sprayed out, splattering Ye Pei’s face, making him look like a demon from hell.
Fan Qin collapsed to the floor, clutching her bleeding neck, her eyes filled with despair.
"You... you killed Lixia?! You’re insane! A lunatic!"
"Hahaha! I am a lunatic! Anyone who betrays deserves to die!"
With that, Ye Pei picked up the knife again and moved toward Cai Lixia.
Looking back at Fan Qin, his face twisted in malevolence.
"The only reason I haven’t killed you outright is so you can watch cut that bastard child out of your daughter’s belly!"
"No! Don’t! Don’t hurt my daughter!!"
Even knowing Cai Lixia was dead, Fan Qin, like a woman possessed, lunged forward to shield her.
Ye Pei felt his pride wounded. Rising to his feet, he booted Fan Qin viciously.
The kick sent her crashing to the edge of the table, cracking her head against it.
Blood poured out once more.
Despite this, Fan Qin struggled to stand, resolute in her desire to protect her daughter.
Ye Pei laughed even more maniacally, tossing the knife onto the table and kicking at Fan Qin’s head furiously.
"It’s all your fault! You couldn’t keep your daughter in line, letting her carry another man’s bastard! Die, you die too; your whole family should die!"
Just then, Cai Lixia stirred faintly on the couch and woke up.
Seeing her mother’s wretched condition, she scread in horror.
"You beast! Stop hurting my mom!"
Turning around and seeing Cai Lixia was still alive, Ye Pei grew even more unhinged.
"Good, you’re not dead! Then watch with your own eyes what happens to soone carrying a bastard!"
As he advanced toward Cai Lixia, Fan Qin clung desperately to his leg.
"Lixia, run!"
"Mom!"
Seeing her mother’s dire state, Cai Lixia began sobbing uncontrollably.
Fan Qin shouted again, "For your child’s sake, RUN! Go find your father!"
Knowing she wasn’t Ye Pei’s match, Cai Lixia hesitated briefly before bolting toward the door.
"Mom, I’ll be back for you!"
But before she could get far, Ye Pei yanked her back by the hair and slamd her to the ground.
"Slut! Trying to run? I’ll kill you!"
As he spoke, Ye Pei once again reached for her neck...
