Huang Ming was originally asleep at his desk, but the loud door slam woke him up. He groggily sat upright.
Before he could react, however, Xu Huwen stepped forward and slapped him twice across the face.

He imdiately shouted in anger, "Are you crazy? What’s this chaos in the middle of the day?!"
Instead of responding, Xu Huwen issued an accusation.
"Tell , what’s the deal between you and Xu Ruoxuan?"
This abrupt question left Huang Ming utterly dumbfounded. "What are you talking about? I don’t understand a word of it!"
With her hands on her hips, Xu Huwen snapped back furiously.
"Huang, let make this clear today. If you dare to get involved with Xu Ruoxuan again, I’ll chop your thing off and feed it to the dogs!"
Without waiting for Huang Ming to explain, she turned and stord off.
As she reached downstairs, she bumped into Xu Ruoxuan, who had just finished eating.
Xu Ruoxuan imdiately smiled and greeted her, "Sister Xu, are you here to see County Magistrate Huang?"
"Damn flirtatious vixen!"
Letting out an icy snort, Xu Huwen left without turning back.
Watching her retreating figure, Xu Ruoxuan was completely stunned.
She couldn’t make sense of what had just happened.
Back in the County Magistrate’s office, Zhou Jiajun hurried over to help Huang Ming into a seat after Xu Huwen left.
"County Magistrate Huang, are you alright?"
Clutching his burning cheek, Huang Ming felt utterly frustrated.
"Jiajun, do you think soone is spreading rumors about and Xu Ruoxuan?"

Not long after Zhou Jiajun left, the phone in Huang Ming’s office rang.
As soon as he picked up, Xu Ruoxuan’s voice ca through.
"County Magistrate Huang, your wife just insulted . I suspect she’s misunderstood sothing. From now on, let’s keep our interactions strictly professional."
After finishing her sentence, Xu Ruoxuan directly hung up the call.
This left Huang Ming trembling with rage.
He had spent considerable effort and money on winning Xu Ruoxuan over.

"Chu Jing, get dressed quickly and head to the County Committee and County Governnt. Your godfather wants to introduce you to soone. Be natural and poised. If you like the person, seize the opportunity!"
"Got it."
Xie Chujing was already tired of hearing such advice.

With a nod, Zhou Jiajun promptly left.
A short while later, there was a knock at the door.
Seeing Chen Bin walk in, Huang Ming imdiately got to the point.

Chen Bin shook his head. "Not yet. Are you calling over to introduce to soone?"
"Exactly! My goddaughter is quite beautiful. I think you two would be a great match. How about I introduce you?"
