After Ye Tianfan drew his lot and returned to the Taihuo Peak stands, his fellow senior brothers gathered around him.

"However, even though it was easy for you to win this ti, I'm guessing you've made an enemy of Bai Peak's leadership. When he ascends to the top, I suspect he'll target Taihuo Peak even more," analyzed senior brother You Tianjiao. "Moreover, he's not a generous person; in fact, he's quite narrow-minded."
"I didn't say much, just reminded him that no one should be killed or tortured in this tournant. Didn't say anything else," Ye Tianfan said with a very innocent tone.
"Hmph, and so what? The grudge I have with Ping Chu hasn't been resolved yet either, and I haven't seen him targeting Taihuo Peak," Tian Chu Zhenren huffed coldly from his seat.
"Greetings, Master." Ye Tianfan hurriedly saluted Tian Chu Zhenren, having been delayed in his manners by his fellow senior brothers' encircling him.

After nodding to his senior brothers, Ye Tianfan also sat down and concentrated on watching, as any of these people might be his opponents the next day.

On the first stage, there were two unknown contestants. Ye Tianfan recognized those on the second stage: Bai Feng and an opponent from Taiqi Peak. The battle process was simple and brutal, rely bashing with Magical Treasures. You use one Magical Treasure; I conjure a Defensive Magical Treasure to block, then seize the mont to throw back an attack Magical Treasure, the other person then conjures another Defensive Magical Treasure to block it. Simply put, it was a matter of whose Magical Treasures would last longer. However, seeing how many treasures they pulled out, it was clear the fight wouldn't end anyti soon.
The third stage was even simpler. It was just one person suppressing another. The dominant person Ye Tianfan knew: Senior Brother Yun Tian. Ye Tianfan knew his appearance because they had once dined together in a restaurant, and Senior Brother pointed him out. Yun Tian wielded eight Magic Swords, one main and seven auxiliary, using various thods to assault his opponent, who was also from Taiqi Peak, taking out Magical Treasures one after the other, only for them to be destroyed by Yun Tian's Magic Swords.
This must be Senior Brother Yun Tian's Lifebound Magical Sword, the Seven-Star Sword.
The Seven-Star Sword consists of a primary sword and seven subsidiary swords, adding the Beidou Seven-Star Array's bonuses during attacks. The Beidou Seven-Star Array can both attack and defend, with defensive capabilities nearly as strong as its offensive ones, providing balanced offense and defense.
Moreover, Ye Tianfan observed that the person from Taiqi Peak stood no chance, and the battle was nearing its end.
On the fourth stage, Ye Tianfan didn't recognize the contestants, but judged by their styles of combat. One belonged to Taimu Peak, the other to Taitu Peak; their clash was fierce. One summoned earthen walls; the other grew trees within them to break them down, using the trees' vines to assault the Taitu Peak contestant, only for the latter to summon an Earth Shield to block. Their battle was ferocious indeed.
As Ye Tianfan glanced at the fifth stage, the victor was almost clear. With the fight almost over, it was hard to tell which sect they belonged to. One was panting heavily, holding a golden rod, pointing at another who, collapsed on the ground, could barely rise. Yet the victor was also gravely injured, with even the arm not holding the rod twisted.
On the sixth stage, combat was still ongoing. They appeared to be from the Taichu Peak, as Ye Tianfan saw several Immortal Techniques deployed: sotis fire, then wood, with an array of Magical Treasures taken out. The opponent utilized water to fend off fire, summoned tals to slice through the wood, and finally, conjured nurous Array Banners, forming an Array to fend off the Magical Treasures.
The seventh stage had more or less discerned its victor, and it was almost a flawless win since one was panting heavily, crouching on the ground, unable to move, while the other seed unhard, rely pointing a golden Immortal Sword at the gasping contestant.
However, just as Ye Tianfan thought the match was about to conclude, the seemingly unscathed contestant suddenly convulsed and collapsed straight onto the ground.
Then an Elder intervened, ruling in favor of the panting contestant. Ye Tianfan saw this person pull a small porcelain bottle from his chest, and pour a bit into the mouth of the unhard contestant, who then stood up in fury.
Ye Tianfan understood it, "Ah, poison, that explains it."
Ye Tianfan watched as the victor went to draw lots, and coincidentally, Senior Brother Yun Tian also went to draw lots, indicating his victory. Of the ongoing stages, only five remained.
Soon after, soone else claid victory, this ti from the sixth stage. Neither appeared injured or breathless; evidently, they'd reached an agreent.
Ye Tianfan continued to watch as one contestant after another claid victory on the stages. Bai Feng's match didn't last as long as Ye Tianfan expected—about half an hour or so.
Once everyone drew their lots, Ye Tianfan left, knowing the results wouldn't be disclosed until the next day. Although Ye Tianfan could ask them for their numbers directly, there was no rush; witnessing the outcos the next day would suffice.
