After hearing this, Master Zhichu's face turned dark. Even a naive person would sense sothing wrong. Coupled with the words previously spoken by Master Yuan Chu before fainting, that they couldn't get out, it ant they were likely caught in a trap aid at the entire Taichu Sect.
If everything happened as Ye Tianfan stated, it ans soone likely blocked their hearing here, making them unaware and unworried about the sounds. But that doesn't seem right, normally Junior Brother Ping Chu's formation should detect the slightest disturbance, yet he hadn't noticed a thing. It indicated not only was their hearing blocked, but likely their senses were too, ensnaring them all in this area. If Ye Tianfan hadn't been sent out earlier, Junior Brother Yuan Chu and Junior Brother Zhen Chu might have already been gone.
It seems the enemy is using a divide-and-conquer strategy. Quite a tactic.
Master Zhichu was utterly infuriated, but he forcefully suppressed it. After all, he was the person in charge here. If even he couldn't stabilize his emotions, how would they face the enemy next? Should they charge in, filled with rage?
