The crisp sound of the slap echoed in everyone’s ears. The heavy slap sent Zhou Biao stumbling back several steps, completely bewildered, his face swelling up with a distinct palm print visible on his cheek.
Liu Yang glared at Zhou Biao and roared, "Scumbag, you know I ca for Ye Feng, why are you stepping forward? Get back! You’ve got nothing to do with this!"
Zhou Biao, after being hit, had a bewildered look on his face and was boiling with rage inside, but he was helpless. They were more than a hundred people strong; if Zhou Biao had shown any resistance, it would have been suicide. In front of these people, Zhou Biao had absolutely no power to fight back.
Liu Yang turned to Ye Feng and said, "So you’re a transfer student. To think you could transfer to a school like Longdu University shows you’ve got so skills, no wonder you’re so arrogant. Unfortunately, you’ve offended soone you shouldn’t have."
Ye Feng just looked at Liu Yang indifferently. Fury was already burning inside him. After all, Zhou Biao was his roommate and had stepped forward to help him. It was because of this that Zhou Biao had been hit, and Ye Feng was not about to let that go.
Ye Feng spoke, "Apologize to Zhou Biao and take your people and leave. I can let you go."
"Is this kid out of his mind, can’t he see the situation he’s in?" The surrounding students, looking at Ye Feng as if he were a fool, couldn’t believe it; they were more than a hundred strong, and yet Ye Feng dared to act so arrogantly!
Zhang Hang, Fang Yuan, and Zhou Biao, upon hearing Ye Feng’s words, were all startled and looked at Ye Feng in terror, "Ye Feng, have you gone mad? Don’t you realize what situation you’re in? Don’t provoke Liu Yang!"
But Ye Feng remained relaxed, shaking his head, "Don’t worry, these jokers are no match for !"
"Ye Feng!" Zhou Biao and the others were instantly terrified by Ye Feng’s words. Calling them "jokers" was a blatant provocation to everyone present.
"Scumbag, I see you’re courting death!" Liu Yang’s followers roared, their eyes showing madness and intense anger.
"Scumbag, I’ll break your legs today and make you kneel and call ’grandpa!’"
"Beat him down. I’ve been here for over two years and have never seen anyone so arrogant!"
The crowd started shouting loudly, their eyes wild, ready to charge at any mont.
"Ye Feng, have you lost your mind? Apologize to everyone right now!" Fang Yuan was almost in tears as he spoke to Ye Feng.
But Ye Feng still had a calm expression, "No worries, a bunch of trash won’t hurt ."
"Courting death!" Ye Feng’s words ignited everyone like a fuse, the crowd went wild, and the corridor instantly boiled over in chaos.
The yellow-haired youth roared, "Yang, I can’t take it anymore. I’m going to kill this damned scumbag right now!"
With a furious roar, the yellow-haired youth was about to charge forward while Fang Yuan, Zhou Biao, and Zhang Hang looked on in despair, "We’re dood..."
However, just as the words fell, Liu Yang reached out his hand and blocked the yellow-haired youth, "Wait!"
After hearing Liu Yang’s words, everyone cald down, glaring fiercely at Ye Feng.
It was as if they wanted to tear Ye Feng apart alive, yet Ye Feng remained utterly calm, as if there was no one around him, completely ignoring everyone present.
At that ti, Liu Yang pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and placed one in his mouth. The blond youth imdiately ca over to Liu Yang with a lighter, ready to light it for him.
However, Liu Yang stopped the blond youth, signaling that he didn’t need help lighting it, and then looked at Ye Feng, asking indifferently, "Kid, do you know how to light a cigarette?"
Ye Feng just looked at Liu Yang without responding.
Liu Yang gave a cold laugh, then turned to the blond youth, "Give him the lighter so he can light it for ."
The blond youth nodded, then walked over to Ye Feng and handed him the lighter.
"Take the lighter," the blond youth ordered coldly as he looked at Ye Feng.
Ye Feng shook his head slightly, "Get on with whatever you’re going to do, no need for these little tricks."
Liu Yang looked coldly at Ye Feng and said, "You co and light it for ." After saying that, Liu Yang walked up to Ye Feng, his face extrely sullen as he hung the cigarette from his lips and stared icily at Ye Feng.
Ye Feng didn’t say a word, not planning to light the cigarette for him at all.
At this ti, Zhang Hang and the others began to get anxious, "Ye Feng, just light the cigarette for Brother Yang, he’s giving you a chance!"
Zhou Biao also advised, "Exactly, if you light the cigarette for Brother Yang, it’s like admitting your mistake, and he won’t target you."
But Ye Feng showed disdain, "It’s just trash. The three of you shouldn’t worry, if he wants a light, he can do it himself."
"Good, good!" Liu Yang’s face grew even darker as he repeated the word ’good’ twice, then he snapped the cigarette in his hand and, seeing his somber expression, Zhou Biao, Zhang Hang, and Fang Yuan all grew tense.
After crushing the cigarette in his hand, Liu Yang threw it on the ground and walked toward the blond youth.
Everyone sneered at Ye Feng, knowing that Ye Feng was as good as dead, having thoroughly enraged Liu Yang this ti.
Then, Liu Yang took the baseball bat from the blond youth and slowly walked towards Ye Feng.
Liu Yang nodded at Ye Feng, "Very good! You’re very good!"
As soon as the words fell, Liu Yang raised the baseball bat high in the air and swung it down at Ye Feng.
Suddenly, the whooshing of the wind intensified, and Zhang Hang, Zhou Biao, and Fang Yuan all held their breath in fright, knowing that a full-force strike with a tal baseball bat to soone’s head would surely cause serious injury, a pain few could bear.
Just as the tal baseball bat was about to smash into Ye Feng’s head, Ye Feng casually raised his hand.
"Bang!" A dull sound echoed as Ye Feng easily caught the tal baseball bat in his hand.
"Huh?" Liu Yang was taken aback, as was everyone else. They had not expected Ye Feng to so easily catch Liu Yang’s tal baseball bat, leaving Ye Feng unstruck.
