"Miranda, are you okay?" Anita asked as soon as she followed Bruce into the ward.
Miranda looked at Anita and smiled reluctantly. "It’s okay. It’s nothing. Don’t worry. But it might affect the filming progress. I’ll have to trouble you to tell President Owen."
Anita heard that Miranda was still worried about the shoot at this ti, so she quickly said, "Miranda, don’t say that. Owen has sothing to deal with today, so I ca to see you first. Don’t feel any pressure. Take care of yourself."
"Miss Anita, you don’t have to comfort . I know it might leave a scar. I’ll talk to my manager about the cooperation and discuss the termination of the contract with you as soon as possible."
"Miranda, what are you talking about? Is this a big deal? Besides, you were injured during the filming. It must have sothing to do with the company. Why would Owen terminate the contract with you? Don’t let your imagination run wild," Anita said even more anxiously when she heard that Miranda was actually going to terminate the contract.
"Miss Anita, thank you for comforting ."
Seeing Miranda like this, Anita knew that Miranda didn’t take her words to heart, but it didn’t matter. Anita smiled again and said, "Miss Miranda, when we ca over, we saw so of your fans outside the hospital. Maybe Owen and I won’t be able to co over in the next few days. Can you let Bruce stay here and take care of you?"
Afraid that Miranda would refuse, Anita quickly turned to Bruce. "Bruce, can you? Are you willing to stay here and take care of Miss Miranda?"
"Really? Miss Anita, I... of course I’m willing, but what about the CEO?" Bruce clearly didn’t expect Anita to suddenly say this, and for a mont, he couldn’t hide the surprise on his face.
"You don’t have to worry about him. I’m not too busy with school these days. I’ll go to the company to help him. Just take good care of Miss Miranda."
"O... okay." Hearing Anita say this, Bruce quickly smiled and nodded.
"Miranda, do you think it’s okay? If you don’t hate Bruce, let him stay here and take care of you. He’s very considerate," Anita asked Miranda again.
"I... I can accept anything. You guys can arrange it," Miranda said shyly as she lowered her head.
"That’s good. Miranda, don’t worry too much. Take care of yourself. If you need anything, let Bruce do it. I’ll go back first." Anita turned and walked out.
"Miss Anita, let send you." Bruce took two quick steps and followed Anita.
"How is it? Miranda didn’t lose her temper, did she?" As soon as the two of them left the door, Miranda’s manager hurried over and asked.
"It’s okay. She’s just in a bad mood. Please take good care of her for the next two days," Anita said first.
"Don’t worry about that. I’ve already found a caregiver for Miranda. He’ll be here this afternoon. I have a lot of unfinished business at the company. I can’t stay here for long," the manager said with relief when he heard that Miranda didn’t lose her temper.
"Caretaker? What? You’re Miranda’s manager. Aren’t you going to stay here and take care of her?" Bruce asked after hearing what Miranda’s manager said.
"Special assistant, Miranda isn’t the only artist in my company. There are others. I can’t possibly delay other things because of her, right? Besides, she won’t be able to take on a job anyti soon with the scar on her face."
These words were so realistic that Anita and Bruce were stunned.
"In that case, go ahead. You don’t have to let the caregiver co. We’ll take care of Miranda," Anita said first as she looked at Miranda’s manager.
"Miss Anita, what do you an? You... you’re taking care of her? How... how can you say that?" Miranda’s manager was surprised that Anita suddenly said this.
Miranda’s manager had wanted sothing to happen between President Owen and Miranda, but didn’t expect Miss Anita to take the initiative to take care of Miranda. Miranda’s manager couldn’t understand their relationship.
"It’s nothing. Since you’re busy, just focus on your own matters. I’ll be in charge of Anita’s matters from now on." Before Anita could speak again, Bruce took over.
It was great that these two were fighting to take care of Miranda. He just didn’t know when Miranda had beco so close to President Owen’s wife and special assistant.
