The more thrilling part ca later. All of a sudden, the roller coaster sped up and plunged downward, causing the tourists on board to scream collectively. Even Lin Mu couldn't help but shout loudly. Riding a roller coaster is ant to release inner frustration, and that's what makes it so exciting and enjoyable.
Lin Mu could tell that Man Luo was not entirely unfazed but was deliberately holding back from shouting. However, after various ups and downs, Man Luo finally got swept up by the screams around her and couldn't help but yell out loud.
"Bastard." Dizzy, Man Luo got off the roller coaster, feeling an impulse to strangle Lin Mu. What a lousy contraption; it's truly paying for a living hell! She almost threw up.
Lin Mu chuckled and said, "How was it? Exciting, right?"
"Exciting, my foot! I almost want to strangle you," Man Luo glared at Lin Mu. Although she said that, the ride was indeed thrilling. Especially when she scread unrestrainedly earlier, it seed like her frustrations got vented out with the cries, and now she felt much lighter all over.
"Uh…" Lin Mu wore an expression of discomfort.
Man Luo looked at Lin Mu and suddenly smiled, "Co on, I was just joking. No need for that face, right?"
"Uh…" Lin Mu was even more taken aback as he looked at Man Luo. Having known her for several months, this was the first ti he saw her smile. He had to admit, Man Luo was even more charming when she smiled. Of course, she's srizing even when she's cold, but humans aren't cold-blooded animals, so she feels cozier and more beautiful when she smiles!
Man Luo noticed Lin Mu's surprised gaze and asked, "Why are you looking at like that?"
"Well, you look quite pretty when you smile, so why keep a straight face all the ti? A smile makes you youthful!" Lin Mu chuckled, then started joking around again, "Co on, girl, give a smile!"
When Lin Mu teased her, Man Luo imdiately turned expressionless again.
"This…" Lin Mu helplessly glanced at Man Luo. A girl's mood is indeed like June weather, changing quickly, her face turning faster than flipping a book!
"Are you saying I'm not good-looking unless I smile?" Man Luo questioned Lin Mu.
"Of course not. Um, let's go, shall we? Let's find sothing else to play." Lin Mu quickly changed the topic and, before Man Luo could react, pulled her by the hand to play at the giant swing for more thrills.
The whole afternoon, Lin Mu and Man Luo played through the amusent park, and both had a wonderful ti. However, Lin Mu dared not complint Man Luo's smile again, lest she sulk. So Lin Mu just secretly admired the tiger's expression of excitent.
The two played until nightfall before leaving the amusent park contentedly. Lin Mu drove, eagerly pleasing this suddenly changeable tigress next to him, "How about dinner now that it's dark, sis?"
"Okay," Man Luo readily agreed this ti.
Lin Mu drove to a western restaurant and ordered two steaks. After playing all afternoon, Lin Mu was genuinely starving. Once the steak arrived, he devoured it with big bites, whereas Man Luo, being a lady, ate much more elegantly despite her hunger, gingerly nibbling small bites, contrasting sharply with Lin Mu's gluttony.
After dinner, Lin Mu and Man Luo left the restaurant. At the restaurant's entrance, Lin Mu suddenly felt like soone was watching him. He turned abruptly to see a young man in a baseball cap standing behind a black business car, soone quite familiar. Lin Mu quickly recalled that this guy, wearing a big mask, was identical to the van driver he encountered at his door last night, and Lin Mu quickly used his Seventh Sense to read the opponent's mind, which was full of deep hostility! Yep, this guy was indeed the young man from last night who set up the car bomb; he was the true murderer from last night's assassination!
The young man in the baseball cap obviously also noticed Lin Mu staring at him and hurriedly darted to the side.
"You little bastard, still trying to run?" Lin Mu cursed under his breath and fiercely chased after him.
"Hey, Lin Mu, what are you doing?" Man Luo called out, kicking into gear and following him.
Truth be told, the guy in the baseball cap was quite fast on his feet, and since he had so distance from Lin Mu, Lin Mu couldn't catch him imdiately, maintaining about a 50-60 ters gap. However, Lin Mu was confident he could catch up.
The young man in the baseball cap never looked back and kept running ahead. Lin Mu chased him for about five or six minutes, getting closer until only five ters remained. Suddenly, Lin Mu leaped forward, soared, and flipped mid-air to land in front of the young man's path.
Then, the young man in the baseball cap also stopped, gazing coldly at Lin Mu.
"Who sent you to kill ?" Lin Mu asked, facing the young man in the baseball cap.
"Who are you? I don't even know you!" The young man coldly replied.
"Bullshit! Don't play dumb with . I've already figured out your identity. You're from the Iron Blood Corps, aren't you? Pshh, speak up, who ordered you to assassinate ? What's your plan?" Lin Mu demanded.
Upon hearing this, the young man furrowed his brows with a flash of surprise in his eyes, evidently not expecting Lin Mu to know his identity.
"Heh, Lin Mu, you're sothing, knowing us Iron Blood Corps folks," the young man sneered, then removed his mask and cap.
Lin Mu scoffed, "What is Iron Blood Corps, really? I'm asking what your purpose is?"
"Purpose? Simple—take you out," the man said coldly.
"Hah, you think an idiot like you can take down? Let tell you, not only you useless guys but even if your Iron Blood leader cos, he wouldn't be my match, let alone a little minion like you!" Lin Mu mocked.
"Hehe, Lin Mu, you sure talk big! I know you're formidable, maybe I can't defeat you, but that doesn't an no one in Iron Blood can take you out!" The young man retorted.
"Psh, don't spew useless crap! I'm asking who's behind this, is it your Iron Blood leader or Liu Family's young master?" Lin Mu inquired.
"We only follow orders from the leader," the man said, looking at Lin Mu.
Lin Mu nodded, "Oh? So it's your **** leader behind this. Those who wrong , Lin Mu, face only one fate: death!"
