Iron Hand and the others darted with lightning speed to the front of those mutated zombies, landing a punch on the zombie’s body. However, the zombie rely moved back a few steps, its face showing no signs of pain.
Iron Hand paused in disbelief. He had poured all his strength into that punch, but the subordinate rely retreated a few steps, without any signs of injury. It was truly terrifying; under normal circumstances, a punch like that would at least cause severe injury if not death.
While Iron Hand was montarily stunned, the zombie that was hit roared in anger, lunging at Iron Hand. Seeing this, Iron Hand quickly kicked, striking the zombie’s chest, yet the zombie remained unmoved, grabbed Iron Hand’s heel, then kicked Iron Hand in the gut.
Iron Hand let out a couple of cries, sent flying. Fortunately, his skills were exceptional; he flipped mid-air and managed to land on the ground, clutching his belly in amazent, "Damn it, this monster has huge strength!"
As that zombie started acting, the remaining forty to fifty mutated zombies all rushed towards Iron Blood mbers with astonishing ferocity. If just one was so fierce, how terrifying would it be with forty to fifty of them!
Six Iron Blood mbers quickly reacted, yet the dominance of those mutated zombies was overwhelming. They couldn’t hold out long before being knocked away one by one.
"Sothing’s not right. Feifei should have diluted the DNA-catalyzing enzy; its effect shouldn’t be this significant, especially when consud by so many people separately." Man Luo comnted, puzzled by the situation.
Earlier, when that subordinate sent Iron Hand flying, Lin Mu was equally incredulous. If diluted, the enzy’s potency wouldn’t be so intense. This could only an one thing.
"I suspect this is another type of DNA-catalyzing enzy," Lin Mu slowly said.
"Another type?" Man Luo wondered.
"Yes, possibly Feifei only tampered with the improved version, while these ordinary types might be stored elsewhere by Jinye." Lin Mu analyzed.
"But weren’t those ordinary types destroyed by us?" Man Luo asked.
"Haha, although destroyed, Jinye might secretly keep so; these are uncertain things." Lin Mu explained.
"Judging by the situation, it looks like Jinye might be reversing the tide!" Man Luo remarked, given that just a few moves had pushed Iron Hand and the others back. These forty to fifty zombies who consud DNA-catalyzing enzy left any opponent in singles combat rather terrifying.
"Not necessarily. Don’t forget those ard police behind Iron Hand. They’re not to be trifled with; even iron will get shot full of holes." Lin Mu stated.
Just as Lin Mu said, Iron Hand and the others swiftly retreated; it was clear that continuing the fight would leave Iron Blood Corps shredded like at strips, turning them into Bloodless Corps. So their best option was to retreat.
"Fire!" Iron Hand commanded unemotionally, with no ti for hesitation as the forty to fifty zombies rushed forward with a force that humans could not withstand. These zombies might be hard to kill even with gunfire.
Thus Iron Hand gave the order without hesitating, especially since the opposition was gangsters wielding blades; firing was justifiable self-defense for the ard police, not a case of police gunning down innocents.
Bam bam bam...
A burst of gunfire rang out, with bullets raining on those forty to fifty zombies. Even though they consud DNA-catalyzing enzy, it couldn’t change their flesh and blood nature; getting hit would surely cause injury. A single bullet might not matter much unless hitting a critical area, but this was different; the police were sprinting gunfire, turning the zombies into live targets. Those rushing in the front were soon riddled with bullets.
Gradually, the tallic scent of blood perated the air. Forty to fifty zombies were struck by bullets, blood spurting out, misting the air unpleasantly.
The Ard Police’s continuous gunfire left no room for resistance. They all lay on the ground, with rivers of blood evoking an apocalyptic scene.
"It’s just too brutal." Man Luo comnted, witnessing this situation. In the blink of an eye, forty to fifty lives were gone; almost everyone’s bodies were riddled with bullets, evoking fear.
"Hehe, if they hadn’t fired, Iron Hand would be finished." Lin Mu responded indifferently. Such is life in the underworld; if you want to thrive, you must prepare to die, proving gangster life requires ntal fortitude.
anwhile, Jinye, Uro Iji, and four ninjas had long fled. Although Jinye was prepared, he never anticipated Iron Blood Corps deploying ard police. With the police sorting the aftermath, any counterattack by Jinye and the Jushi Association was futile. Their subordinates were it, arranged by Jin Lai as pawns to provide ti and opportunity to escape.
Thus after the zombies all fell, Jinye and Uro Iji successfully escaped, and for Jinye, it was a crushing defeat, akin to falling from the sky to the ground, a loud crash leaving them dead in shambles!
Taking Jinye’s case, having offended governnt agencies, falling from the top of the underworld, climbing back seems imnsely difficult, almost impossible.
Iron Hand glanced at the group of Zombie Slayers lying on the ground, waved his hand, leading a team into the Imperial Capital International Club. Eliminating Jinye’s strength wasn’t Iron Hand’s goal; acquiring DNA-catalyzing enzy was his real purpose. With Jinye fleeing, Iron Hand imdiately led a search of Jinye’s rooms; fleeing in haste, Jinye likely hadn’t taken the remaining DNA-catalyzing enzy with him.
Soon, Iron Hand and the team reached the tenth-floor room.
Entering the room, Iron Hand’s team began searching, quickly locating a safe in the room. A subordinate found the key, opening the safe; Iron Hand’s eyes lit up, finding exactly what he sought.
Iron Hand retrieved the DNA-catalyzing enzy inside, but only two bottles remained. Yet for Iron Hand, two bottles were enough. His intent wasn’t for Iron Blood Corps to use it, but to study and produce it continuously. With it, Iron Blood Corps’ strength would soar rapidly.
