The taxi quickly arrived at the entrance of the Land Rover dealership. Lin Mu and An Qi’Er got out of the car. Lin Mu took An Qi’Er’s small hand and led her into the store, when suddenly soone called out from behind.
"An Qi’Er."
An Qi’Er didn’t turn her head, as if she already knew who was calling her na. Lin Mu, upon hearing soone calling An Qi’Er, quickly turned around to see a young man in his late twenties approaching. The man was dressed in a sharp suit, looking quite the gentleman or rather a "pretty face in nice clothes"! Moreover, this man’s face was very delicate, a bit like a Korean drama male lead, a type of small-eyed handso guy that’s seen as a lady killer. However, Lin Mu disliked this type of man, just as he disliked people watching Korean dramas, because these small-eyed guys in Korean dramas always seed to steal Lin Mu’s thunder as a handso guy. Hmph, intolerable, indeed! An uncle can endure, but an aunt cannot!
An Qi’Er reluctantly turned her head, looked at the handso guy running over, and forced a smile, "Teacher Fang, why are you here?"
"Damn, this guy’s actually a teacher?" Lin Mu was quite annoyed upon hearing An Qi’Er addressing him that way. This guy is a teacher? Really blinding everyone’s eyes! He certainly didn’t look the part; he looked more like a rich kid, because Lin Mu saw him get out of a BMW 8 Series earlier.
A BMW 8 Series is absolutely not sothing a teacher could afford, and just by looking, Lin Mu could tell he wasn’t a good guy. This guy went to school to be a teacher, but it’s more like he went to pick up girls. Probably a year’s salary wouldn’t even cover the cost of the BMW’s wheels.
This so-called Teacher Fang looked at An Qi’Er, smiling tenderly, "An Qi’Er, I’ve told you many tis, don’t call Teacher Fang. Just call Zhongxin. I like it when you call that."
An Qi’Er forced a smile. It was obvious that she wasn’t fond of Fang Zhongxin, but for so reason, she couldn’t or didn’t want to confront him.
"Teacher Fang, sorry, I don’t like addressing unfamiliar people that way," An Qi’Er said.
"What are you saying? It’s not like we just t today. I’ve said long ago, don’t treat like an outsider!" Fang Zhongxin said.
"But we’ve only known each other for a week," An Qi’Er corrected.
Fang Zhongxin said nothing more and changed the topic, finally noticing Lin Mu standing next to An Qi’Er, holding her hand intimately.
Quickly, Fang Zhongxin showed a hint of displeasure, forcing a smile, he looked at An Qi’Er and said, "An Qi’Er, who is this?"
"Oh, he’s my boyfriend," Lin Mu quickly answered.
"Boyfriend?" Fang Zhongxin looked at An Qi’Er and questioned, then with a tone of interrogation, he said to her, "An Qi’Er, you never told you have a boyfriend."
"I also never said I didn’t have a boyfriend!" An Qi’Er looked at Fang Zhongxin. Sure, it wasn’t easy to confront him, but that didn’t an she was afraid of him. She just didn’t want to offend him.
"You..." Fang Zhongxin’s face turned sour.
"What’s with the ’you’? Let tell you, if there’s nothing going on, let’s not stand around and chat!" Lin Mu chose to ignore Fang Zhongxin. Nowadays, flies are everywhere, and you can’t get rid of them by swatting them all the ti, so the best choice is to stay away from them.
"Teacher Fang, sorry, we’re leaving first," An Qi’Er said, then automatically took Lin Mu’s arm and walked into the dealership.
Fang Zhongxin watched An Qi’Er’s back with gritted teeth, "An Qi’Er, you’ve got guts!"
At the sa ti, he also slowly developed a grudge against Lin Mu. This kid dared to compete with for won. He must be asking for trouble!
"Who was that guy?" Lin Mu asked as they walked.
"A colleague at school," An Qi’Er replied, looking quite annoyed and helpless.
"Damn, with his attitude, he can be a teacher? Your principal must be out of his mind. This guy is obviously there to pick up girls!" Lin Mu expressed incredulity.
"What can we do? Fang Zhongxin’s uncle is the vice-principal at the school, and he graduated from a prestigious university. So his uncle pulled so strings, and he was able to work at the school. Since he ca, he imdiately pursued a female teacher. I heard that after he won her over, he dumped her and moved to our grade. He’s been hinting at pursuing , but I don’t bother with him. Then again, it’s not easy to offend him, especially with his uncle backing him," An Qi’Er said, looking helpless.
"What’s there to be afraid of? If he bothers you again, just slap him hard. You can’t let people like him have their way. The more you submit, the more outrageous he becos," Lin Mu said nonchalantly. Endlessly tolerating soone like this is absolutely impossible; a hard lesson will make him behave. Otherwise, the more you endure, the more he takes advantage.
"That’s not good. His uncle is quite notorious at school for being a hypocrite. If I offend him, they’ll definitely find ways to retaliate," An Qi’Er said.
"Don’t worry, if they dare to bother you, Brother Lin will back you up. You’ve already said you’re my girlfriend, haven’t you? How could I let you suffer any grievance?" Lin Mu said with a devilish smile.
When An Qi’Er heard Lin Mu say this, she couldn’t help but blush a little, looking quite shy, but she didn’t refuse or say anything of the sort.
"Sir, are you looking to buy a car?" a female salesperson approached and asked politely.
"Yes, take to see your best Land Rover here," Lin Mu nodded. If he’s going to buy a car, he definitely wants the best.
"Sir, please co this way. We have the latest Land Rover Evoque. This vehicle has been specially processed with materials for strong bulletproof capabilities and offers superior off-road performance. The chassis and tires are specially treated. It’s the best Land Rover we have in the dealership. In Huaxia, there are only ten vehicles of this type. A regular Land Rover Evoque would cost around 1.5 million, but this one is priced at three million."
The female salesperson was introducing the car to Lin Mu while carefully examining his attire and deanor: faded jeans, a washed-out army green shirt, and a tan complexion. He didn’t look like a second-generation wealthy kid! And certainly not like a self-made millionaire. Anyone going from a nobody to owning a three-million car would need at least twenty to thirty years, right? And this young man in his twenties obviously doesn’t fit the criteria!
So, this guy is probably just here to trick a girl into looking at cars, satisfying an eye craving, and to brag to his girlfriend about how rich he is. It’s just that he didn’t bring enough money today, or perhaps there’s a problem with his bank card. After showing off, he’s not actually going to buy, so the salesperson didn’t take Lin Mu seriously.
