"Oh, Feifei, I really don’t know how to thank you!" Lin Mu grinned shalessly, "I guess I’ll have to offer myself to you!"
"How charming!" Sophie smiled elegantly, "Later, I’m attending a charity event. Do you want to go with ?"
"A charity event?" Lin Mu thought about it. Those boring occasions were sothing he really didn’t want to attend. He’d rather play cards and chat with Gray Wolf and the others, so he waved his hand repeatedly, "Let’s skip it; it’s too boring."
"You just said how you’d thank , and you won’t even accompany for such a small thing, huh!" Sophie feigned annoyance.
"Hehe, big CEO, don’t be mad. Well, I’ll go, alright..."
"Forget it!" Sophie said helplessly. She understood Lin Mu’s restless nature, and making him attend such routine events was indeed a challenge for him.
Sophie wanted to attend a charity event, so Lin Mu had no choice but to leave Yunhai Mansion and head to the Flying Dragon Foot Bath Pavilion to find Gray Wolf and the others. The Foot Bath Pavilion was still closed due to Ah Qiao’s incident a few days ago, but no new murder cases had happened, which temporarily cald the worried hearts of the girls. Arriving at the Foot Bath Pavilion, Lin Mu went to the staff accommodation section in the back. It was called staff accommodation, but it was more like a hotel. You enter into the lobby, and then the rooms are upstairs. In the lobby, Gray Wolf and a few subordinates were playing cards.
"Hey, boss, how co you’re free to visit? Weren’t you with your fiancée, the big CEO?" Gray Wolf put down his cards and gave a wicked smile as he walked towards Lin Mu.

"Yeah, Brother Wolf, that’s too shaless. I have one bomb too. You’re the landlord in this ga; you’ve got to shed so blood, at least three thousand is unavoidable!" Another subordinate protested.
These subordinates usually got along well with Gray Wolf, often playing cards together, so their conversation wasn’t as respectful as typical juniors to seniors but more about banter and chatting.
Lin Mu understood the situation from what the two subordinates said. Gray Wolf was probably about to lose money again.
"Damn, who’s shaless? Is the boss important, or is playing cards?" Gray Wolf looked seriously at the two subordinates.
The two subordinates pursed their lips; in front of Lin Mu, they couldn’t really say anything more.
"Uh, I’m fine; you guys keep playing!" Lin Mu smiled and said.
Gray Wolf grinned, "Boss, let’s not play. I already threw the cards; we’ll play next ti!"
After saying this, it was clear he was despised by the two subordinates. Lin Mu also gave Gray Wolf a disdainful look, but he still had to give him face, after all, he was the small leader of the Foot Bath Pavilion!
So he changed the subject, "How’s the situation recently?"
"No issues. Ever since the Foot Bath Pavilion closed, the other side hasn’t bothered us," Gray Wolf said.

"Boss, there’s a situation," Gray Wolf quickly said after hanging up.
"What’s the situation?" Lin Mu asked.
"A subordinate just reported that last night they spotted a suspicious group. At the ti, they weren’t sure, so they kept following them. Now they’ve confird it; the group is Easterners," Gray Wolf said, looking at Lin Mu.
Lin Mu frowned after hearing it, chuckling lightly, "Are you sure?"
"Confird." Gray Wolf nodded.
"Good, very good." Lin Mu chuckled.
"Boss, what do you think we should do now?" Gray Wolf asked.
"Isn’t it simple? Catch them and question them. Even if they have nothing to do with this case, they’re likely connected to Jinye and Uro Iji," Lin Mu explained.
Gray Wolf’s eyes narrowed into a line, "Do you an Jinye and Uro Iji are bold enough to co to Wancheng?"
"Hehe, they might not co themselves, but they could send subordinates. Make the arrangents and find out the movents of that group; try to capture them tonight," Lin Mu said.
Gray Wolf nodded, "Don’t worry, they won’t get away this ti, those bastards!"
At this mont, Lin Mu’s phone rang again. He glanced at it and found it was Sophie calling. Wasn’t she attending the charity event?
"Hello, Feifei..."
"Brother Lin, sothing’s wrong. We encountered an attack on the road. You need to..."
The call was from Sophie, but it was Su Xiaowan speaking. Before Su Xiaowan could finish, Lin Mu heard a loud boom, clearly indicating the car had suffered a severe collision.
