He glanced at his phone; it was ng Guoxiong calling. Calling early in the morning seed to indicate that he really wasn't ho last night, which put Lin Mu sowhat at ease. If ng Guoxiong found out Lin Mu had slept with his precious daughter, who knows what kind of lodramatic situation might unfold!
"Uncle ng!" Lin Mu answered the call and said.
"Heh, Lin Mu, you're awake, aren't you?" ng Guoxiong asked.
"Yeah, just woke up!"
"Did you sleep well last night?"
"Um... hehe, yeah, very well!" Lin Mu chuckled awkwardly as he spoke. If that wasn't comfortable, then nothing in this world would be enjoyable! It was simply the greatest pleasure in life!
"Glad to hear! I just called to let you know that I have a few etings today, so I can't take you to the airport. Wei'er will take you instead. Oh, and don't forget breakfast!" ng Guoxiong said.
"Yeah, I got it, Uncle. Don't worry about it!" Lin Mu replied.
"Alright then, I'm off to my etings!" ng Guoxiong said and hung up the phone.
Holding the phone, Lin Mu sighed in relief. ng Guoxiong actually asked if he slept well. If Lin Mu told him about his wild night with his daughter, would he dare ask that again?
As for this mischievous girl, ng Wei'er, who knows what's in her mind. When she heard Lin Mu, she even stuck her tongue out at him! Looks like she had quite a comfortable ti as well!
Breakfast was already prepared downstairs. Lin Mu and ng Wei'er grabbed a quick bite since they had a flight to catch. ng Wei'er directly drove her sports car to the airport!
"Brother Lin, rember to co and visit often!" ng Wei'er pouted and said a bit reluctantly.
"Got it, I'll co to see you often, don't worry!" Lin Mu pinched ng Wei'er's nose and said.
"Yeah, and rember our earlier promise? I'll be graduating college in half a year, after that I'm definitely coming to find you!" ng Wei'er added.
"Oh, I rember, but there's a condition. You must study hard, even if graduation is near, keep studying!" Lin Mu said.
"Yep, got it!" ng Wei'er nodded.
"Alright, it's ti, I have to board now!" Lin Mu leaned in to give ng Wei'er a kiss, waved goodbye, and went through security to board the plane.

Two hours later, Lin Mu returned to Wancheng Airport. He had already called Qi Manlin while on the plane to ask her to pick him up. Upon knowing Lin Mu had returned safely, Qi Manlin drove to the airport, chatting and laughing along the way, clearly delighted!
Twenty minutes later, Qi Manlin arrived at the airport and called Lin Mu to tell him her location. Soon enough, Lin Mu's carefree, lazy figure appeared in Qi Manlin's line of sight. Of course, Lin Mu spotted Qi Manlin's car early on too. He trudged over, opened the car door, and got in.

"Bastard, shaless thing!" Qi Manlin punched Lin Mu and said.
"Police beauty, I need so comfort. You should know, I almost didn't get to see you again. Quick, give a kiss!" Lin Mu tilted his head, pointing at his own face.
As a joke, Lin Mu didn't expect this beauty, Qi Manlin, to actually lean in for a kiss, offering Lin Mu so heartfelt comfort. If she knew Lin Mu not only was safe in Nan'an but also had a blast, she'd surely peel his skin off!
"Hey, you're so sweet!" Lin Mu grinned.
"Hmph, feeling better now?" Qi Manlin rolled her eyes at Lin Mu and said.
"A bit. If you really want to make feel good, you could just sleep with !" Lin Mu shalessly said.
"Bastard, dream on!" Qi Manlin reached out and punched Lin Mu.
"Hey, this isn't a dream, it's a wish. I think this wish is soon to be fulfilled!"
"You wish! Enough with the nonsense. Xiaoyu and Xiaoxiao are at ho cooking, waiting for you!" Qi Manlin said, driving back to the mansion.
Arriving ho, as soon as Lin Mu walked through the door, he shouted, "Xiaoyu, Xiaoxiao, hurry out to welco your bro; I'm back!"
Upon hearing his voice, Zhou Xun and Xiong Xiaoxiao, who were cooking in the kitchen, rushed out. They couldn't help but give Lin Mu a hug accompanied by a kiss, making Lin Mu grin from ear to ear!
Unexpectedly, being caught felt pretty good. If he could get such attentions from several beauties, Lin Mu wouldn't mind getting caught more often!
"Brother Lin, you scared us to death! We thought they'd take you and kill you!" Zhou Xun said, tears of joy streaming down.
Amongst the won, Lin Mu worried most about Zhou Xun, because Zhou Xun had no family, only Lin Mu, whom she regarded as her sole support. Qi Manlin had a powerful family, and Xiong Xiaoxiao's family was also decent, at least with a kick-ass big brother backing her.
Lin Mu pinched Zhou Xun's nose, "Silly girl! Your bro's so aweso, who could kill your bro?"
"As long as Brother Lin is safe, we're glad for you, we're really happy you're back safely!" Zhou Xun said, smiling.
"Haha, I sll sothing delicious! My stomach is growling. Let's eat!" Lin Mu rubbed his stomach and said.
"Brother Lin, hang on a bit, we'll eat right away!"
The three beauties brought dishes from the kitchen. Lin Mu then started feasting. Truly, the feeling of being pampered by several beauties was exhilarating!
After the al, Lin Mu called Qi Shangjing to assure him of his safety and, of course, inquire about Zhang Qun's situation. Qi Shangjing told him over the phone that Zhang Qun was already detained awaiting trial. Furthermore, Zhang Qun admitted to the cris of bribery and corruption.
