Just like that, Lin Mu and Xia Yuyi had a delightful breakfast together and then headed back to the Lin Mansion to drop Xia Yuyi off. Once she got ho, Lin Mu, finding himself with nothing to do, went to the Flying Dragon Foot Bath Pavilion, planning to kill ti playing cards and having so drinks with Earth Wolf and the others!
At the Flying Dragon Foot Bath Pavilion, Lin Mu and Earth Wolf played cards, enjoying themselves until about seven o'clock in the evening. Realizing it was about ti, Lin Mu knew Fan Yihui was almost done with work, so he drove off to the supermarket parking lot where Fan Yihui worked!
Sitting in the car waiting for a while, it was already after eight o'clock when Lin Mu finally spotted Fan Yihui coming out of the supermarket! Standing at the entrance, Fan Yihui took out her phone and called Lin Mu!
Lin Mu answered the phone cheerfully, "Hi there, girl!"
"I'm off work now, where are you?" Fan Yihui asked, standing by the entrance of the supermarket.
"I'm here at the supermarket parking lot; I can see you already!" Lin Mu replied.
"Okay, I'll head over right now!"
Fan Yihui responded and then hung up the call!
"Yihui!" Just as Fan Yihui was about to leave, a male voice called out to her.
The man looked about forty years old, wearing black-frad glasses, his face full of fat, and his hair combed so shiny it looked like it had been licked by a dog!
Upon hearing the voice, Fan Yihui's expression was filled with disgust, but she turned around and forced a smile at the man, "Manager Liu, is there sothing you need?"
Manager Liu approached with a smile, wearing his usual repulsive expression that made Fan Yihui feel nauseous!
"Yihui, it's so late, walking alone at night isn't safe. Why don't I give you a ride ho?" Manager Liu said, his eyes constantly darting to Fan Yihui's chest.
Manager Liu was Fan Yihui's supervisor at the supermarket, directly overseeing employees like her.
Having started working at the supermarket just two weeks ago, from her first day, Manager Liu had set his sights on her, frequently exploiting excuses to take advantage of her, making Fan Yihui feel utterly repulsed!
Helplessly knowing Manager Liu was a higher-up and her direct boss at the supermarket, Fan Yihui could only endure silently, planning to leave after finishing this month!
"Haha, thank you, Manager Liu, but I don't need a ride, my boyfriend is picking up!" Fan Yihui laughed off.
"Boyfriend? You have a boyfriend? Haha, Yihui, you must be joking. You always say your boyfriend is coming, but I've seen you leave by yourself every ti!" Manager Liu laughed, expressing disbelief as he thought it was just an excuse for her to reject him.
Manager Liu had waited and endured long enough; he planned to make a move on this young girl tonight. If it didn't work out, he'd use coercion and temptation!
"Manager Liu, I'm really not lying to you; my boyfriend is waiting in the parking lot." Fan Yihui explained.
"Yihui, stop fooling . You should understand my intentions, right? Co with tonight, and tomorrow I'll promote you so you won't have to work as a cashier anymore. I'll arrange for you to work by my side!" Manager Liu offered what he considered a tempting incentive.
If she were one of those opportunistic girls eager for advancent, she might have accepted Manager Liu's offer, but for Fan Yihui, his proposal only made her feel more disgusted!
"Manager Liu, I'm truly sorry, but I indeed have a boyfriend. If you don't believe , why not co take a look, and you can et him too!" Fan Yihui said, relieved that she had asked Lin Mu to co, otherwise it'd be tough to escape Manager Liu's clutches.
Manager Liu never believed Fan Yihui; after all, given her impoverished background, her boyfriend should be nothing more than a young rookie who couldn't compare to him, a supermarket manager with a monthly wage in the tens of thousands, managing over thirty employees!
Even if Fan Yihui had a boyfriend, he was undeterred. In terms of social status, he was confident her boyfriend couldn't compare, believing himself to be Fan Yihui's best option. So, with absolute confidence, he even hoped Fan Yihui actually had a boyfriend, planning to throw money at him to make him leave, letting Fan Yihui willingly submit to him!
"Alright, I'm curious to see your so-called boyfriend. If you don't have one, I hope you'll consider being with !" Manager Liu stated.
"Since Manager Liu doesn't believe , then co with !" Fan Yihui was tired of his nonsense, so she headed towards the parking lot.
From his vantage point, Lin Mu had seen everything unfold and quickly realized that Fan Yihui had run into a lecherous old man!
Considering Fan Yihui's celestial appearance, even slightly dodgy individuals would harbor ill thoughts, let alone this sleazy-looking middle-aged man!
Lin Mu took out his phone and called Fan Yihui!
"Girl, did you get tangled up with the lecherous old man?" Lin Mu asked, chuckling.
"Yeah, help sort it out!" Fan Yihui replied.
"Certainly, you keep walking straight ahead; I'm in the red car!" Lin Mu said.
Fan Yihui hung up the phone, looked ahead, and saw Lin Mu waving at her from the BMW!
Seeing Lin Mu, Fan Yihui smiled and then hurriedly walked over, with Manager Liu trailing behind, planning to insult Fan Yihui's so-called boyfriend, teaching him that such beauties aren't ant for immature rookies. Quality horses and good saddles, beautiful won and decent n, a rare beauty like Fan Yihui should be matched with a successful man like him!
After Fan Yihui approached, Lin Mu stepped out of the car!
"Brother Lin." Fan Yihui ran up directly, happily wrapping her arm around Lin Mu's.
"Honey, you're off work." Lin Mu said with concern, holding Fan Yihui's arm.
"Yeah, Brother Lin, let introduce you; this is Manager Liu from our supermarket!" Fan Yihui said.
"Oh, haha, Manager Liu, nice to et you!" Lin Mu smiled and extended his hand.
Manager Liu hesitated, glanced at Lin Mu, then at the car behind him. If his eyes weren't failing him, that was a BMW 7 Series, easily worth over a million!
And here he was, driving a re ten-plus thousand FAW Volkswagon Touareg!
The two seed to be from entirely different classes of people!
Oh crap... rich, handso, and elite! High-end, classy, and upscale!
Manager Liu found it hard to believe; he had planned to sneer at him but instead got slapped in the face! Even if he gathered all his assets, he couldn't afford a BMW!
After feeling slight sha, Manager Liu quickly changed his stance!
"What a load of rich, handso crap; just a young punk squandering his dad's money. In truth, he's a spoiled brat, and I've been hustling for over twenty, thirty years in society; can't lose my swagger to him!"
