"Alright, go handle your affairs, I still have to take care of the jewelry company's business!" Sophie waved her hand and said. The jewelry business had to be done well, if it succeeded, it could an a substantial developnt for the Su's Company.
Since Sophie was busy, Lin Mu didn't want to disturb her any longer. Bidding Sophie goodbye, Lin Mu walked out of Yunhai Mansion and gave Director Yu Ma a call!
"Boss Lin, what's up?" Yu Ma asked upon answering the phone.
"Director Yu, how's the film coming along?" Lin Mu asked.
"Almost done, we're wrapping up the final stages. Why?"
"Nothing much. Since you're wrapping up, let's throw a ball tonight. Inform everyone now, don't bother shooting today's scenes, let everyone take a break. All actors are to attend tonight's ball. It'll be held in the film company's hall, make it grand, got it?" Lin Mu instructed.
"Uh..." Director Yu was quite puzzled, wondering what was going on with Boss Lin. It's neither holiday nor festival, why suddenly hold a ball?
But since the higher-ups arranged it, Yu Zheng didn't question it, just followed through. After all, the actors were quite exhausted from filming these past few days, so they could use this chance to relax!

After hanging up, Lin Mu thought for a mont about calling Sharapova to invite her, but after taking out his phone, he decided to visit her in person. If invited over the phone, she might refuse since they weren't very familiar yet.
Visiting in person would likely make it harder for her to decline. With that in mind, Lin Mu drove to Chang'an Hotel and headed straight to the presidential suite on the top floor. Exiting the elevator, he greeted the two bodyguards at the door, who recognized him with a frown.
"Hey, could you let her know I'd like to et Miss Sarah?" Lin Mu smiled, showing rare courtesy. After all, he was here to invite her to a ball and couldn't be rude.
Both bodyguards gave Lin Mu face, speaking a few words in Russian into their earpieces.
"You may go in, Miss Sarah is inside!" the bodyguard said to Lin Mu after getting permission.
"Hey, thanks!" Lin Mu grinned, opened the door, and went in.
"Mr. Lin, please have a seat!" Sharapova said with a slight smile, gesturing him to sit.
Lin Mu nodded with a smile and sat down, "Miss Sarah, please don't call Mr. Lin in the future. It feels a bit distant and awkward!"
Sharapova smiled and said, "Then what should I call Mr. Lin?"
"Haha, call Brother Lin or just Lin Mu!" Lin Mu smiled and said.
"Then I'll call you Brother Lin!" Sharapova said.
"Yeah, Brother Lin sounds good, feels closer, hehe!" Lin Mu nodded with satisfaction.
"Then Brother Lin, you shouldn't call Miss Sarah either, it sounds awkward too!" Sharapova laughed.
"Should I call you Sarah or Bova?"
"Bova, I prefer family and close friends to call that!"
"Alright, Bova!" Lin Mu laughed and called her once.
"Brother Lin, I wonder what brings you here this ti?" Sharapova asked with a smile.
The way Sharapova called him Brother Lin had a different vibe, like a barrier vanished instantly. It seed like what you call soone really impacts relationships!
"Actually, it's nothing important, I wanted to invite you to a ball!" Lin Mu smiled and said.
"A ball? What ball?" Sharapova asked in confusion.
"The film I invested in is nearing completion, so the crew is holding a ball to celebrate. I wanted to invite you to be my dance partner, not sure if I have the honor?" Lin Mu said with genuine sincerity.
"Well, it might not be appropriate since I'm just an outsider, not part of the crew!" Sharapova hesitated.
"Hey, that's not an issue. The ball isn't just for the crew, but also for friends from different walks of life. It's all about having fun together. Since you're in Wancheng to relax, why not join in? I hope you could grant this favor!" Lin Mu said.
Sharapova thought for a mont, "Alright, I agree!"
"Oh, thanks a lot. It's settled then, I'll pick you up tonight!" Lin Mu grinned, feeling quite excited inside, ready to find out tonight.
"Alright then!" Sharapova nodded.
"In that case, I'll take my leave!" Lin Mu stood up, then seed to rember sothing and turned around, "By the way, should I prepare an evening dress for you?"
"No need, I've got my own!" Sharapova replied.
"Alright, see you tonight!"
Lin Mu bid farewell and left the room!
At this mont, Lin Mu was in a great mood, thinking that the issue that had been bothering him might get cleared up tonight!
However, Lin Mu at this mont truly hoped that Sharapova wasn't Sharapova. He'd rather face bigger hurdles and search for Sharapova through other ans, but didn't want Sharapova to be this ill-fated Sharapova.
