The group remained highly alert, their eyes fixated on the source of the sound, but after a single noise, it went silent.

Could this little snake be signaling him to follow? Lin Chuan felt extrely curious, calling out loudly, "Are you asking to follow you?"
The little snake twisted mid-air, nodded its head, it seed Lin Chuan had guessed correctly.
"I can follow you, but you need to release my team mbers first." Thinking of Miss Lan and others still surrounded by snake groups, Lin Chuan said to the little snake.
The little snake landed on a branch, issued two strange calls, and nodded its head at Lin Chuan.
"You an my team mbers are safe?" Lin Chuan asked the little snake.
