Xiao Xue couldn't block the drinks and couldn't persuade others to stop drinking either. Sitting there at the banquet felt really awful, so she slipped out to find soone who could persuade Tang Yung.
Luo Guoqing was arranged to dine in the governnt cafeteria, and he ate quickly. After finishing, he drove to the hotel and waited downstairs. Just as he finished a cigarette, Xiao Xue rushed out of the hotel in a hurry.
"Xiao Xue, are you done eating?" Luo Guoqing was startled and asked, "Where's Secretary Tang?"
"Secretary Tang is still drinking. I think she has already had too much, but she's still drinking. This can't go on," Xiao Xue looked distressed.
Luo Guoqing paused, quickly got out of the car: "Secretary Tang and Liu Dagu drank too much? This doesn't look good. Why didn't you stop her and ask her to drink less?"
Xiao Xue almost cried out of grievance: "In that kind of gathering, what can I say about their leaders' drinking? Just now, I was almost scolded."
Luo Guoqiang fell into thought upon hearing this, and after a while, he sneakily glanced and saw Secretary Tang still drinking one cup after another, and he was greatly worried as it seed he couldn't say anything to stop it.

"Don't panic." Luo Guoqing quickly shook his head and said, "I'll call Lin Chuan right now and ask him to co. Maybe he's the only one who can handle Liu Dagu and then persuade Secretary Tang."

"Don't rush." Luo Guoqing quickly said, "Let's try to delay for as long as possible. Go back quickly, find a way to delay and persuade Secretary Tang to drink less, delay as much as possible. We need to buy ti for Lin Chuan."

Back in the private room, Liu Dagu was still trying to persuade Tang Yung to drink, but she wouldn't drink anymore as she was almost unable to focus. Tang Yung smiled and said, "Okay, let's keep drinking."

After a bottle of 38-degree liquor, Tang Yung was completely out of it. She plunged into the restroom of the private room, retching into the toilet. This bout of vomiting expelled almost half a bottle of liquor, which sowhat relieved her. After vomiting, tears fell from Tang Yung's eyes. She didn't know why, but whilst drinking, her mind was full of Lin Chuan's image; she felt like she might have fallen in love with Lin Chuan, yet she was struggling to suppress her feelings.
Just coming out of the bathroom, she saw Liu Dagu swaying as he walked in.
"Secretary Liu, what are you doing here?" Tang Yu was stunned - Liu Dagu seed to have been waiting for her.
"I ca to see how you are," Liu Dagu smiled and said, "Secretary Tang, shall we continue drinking outside?"
The way he spoke, Liu Dagu was overjoyed. Tang Yung was already unsteady on her feet. How would she face the dia now? Just the thought of it made him extrely happy.
Tang Yung staggered, barely able to stand. Liu Dagu quickly ca forward to support her; even though he too was drunk, he still had consciousness. Moreover, to ensure Tang Yung made a fool of herself, he had taken a sobering dicine beforehand and had eaten to line his stomach. His alcohol tolerance was naturally higher than Tang Yung's, and now with all this preparation, how could he get drunk?
"No more drinking," Tang Yung quickly shook her head, saying, "I can't drink anymore, I'm already drunk."
"Alright then... let's go upstairs to rest," Liu Dagu said with a triumphant smile.
Tang Yung's vision started to blur, and even her hearing was muddled. Having drunk so much, and mixing several kinds of alcohol made her feel as if the world was spinning. She was almost on the verge of collapse.
"I want to go back." Tang Yung tried hard to support herself, doing her best not to fall. But now, she indeed couldn't hold up anymore.
"What's the rush? Let's go upstairs to rest first." Saying this, Liu Dagu helped Tang Yung walk out.
Outside, many people had already started packing up. Everyone was preparing to leave the private room, and Xiao Xue was nowhere to be found, which puzzled Tang Yung.
In this way, Tang Yung, dazed and confused, was supported by Liu Dagu towards the upstairs dia room. From here, at their current pace, it would take no more than a dozen minutes to arrive. By then, Tang Yung's embarrassing state would be exposed to the public, likely making her position as Secretary untenable.
Luo Guoqing and Xiao Xue were as anxious as ants on a hot pan. If sothing were to happen to Tang Yung today, they would hardly be able to shirk responsibility. Although Luo Guoqing had already called Lin Chuan, it would still take an hour to get from Jiangbei City to Wujiang County, right?
"What should we do?" Xiao Xue was almost in tears.
"Don't panic. There must be a way," Luo Guoqing took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm. But the more he tried to remain calm, the less calm he beca. He was going crazy, almost freaking out.
"What if, what if I go and stop them." Xiao Xue said through gritted teeth.
"No," Luo Guoqing imdiately shook his head and said, "You're a girl, Liu Dagu will definitely not take you seriously. So, you absolutely cannot go. Let go instead."
