Fu Xi sneered coldly, with his hands attached behind him, and said: "Yaoji, I have already severed ties with you long ago. Please release my wife, otherwise don't bla for turning against you."

Yaoji laughed instead of being angry, but her smile was so frightening as she said: "Human King, I had such deep affection for you. It's unexpected that for this diocre woman, you would say such words. Fine, I will kill this woman."

After speaking, she moved her hand which was stroking Fu Xi's wife and slapped her forehead.

Yaoji acted as soon as she spoke, and Fu Xi, no matter how skilled, couldn't save his wife in ti. They only heard a "crack" sound, and Fu Xi's wife's body fell.

Fu Xi was furious, raised his left hand, and swept it towards the sky. Instantly, the surrounding space changed.

Originally a quiet bar, now it beca a void space, where only Fu Xi and Yaoji existed.

Fu Xi and Yaoji were standing face to face in the space, they were not stepping on the ground, but their feet seed to be floating in the space.

Facing the enraged Fu Xi, Yaoji suddenly laughed and said: "Human King, do you rember a person? Would you like to show you?"

As she spoke, she raised her fair right hand and drew out a screen, on which a person appeared, a man.

Fu Xi saw this man, and his previously enraged face changed.

On the screen, the man was sitting in a room, a table in front of him, writing sothing.

In a daze, he heard footsteps coming from the door, followed by a knock on the door.

At that mont, he heard footsteps coming from the door, followed by a knock on the door.

The man sighed, got up to open the door.

The studio door opened, but no one was there. He stuck his head out to look outside, but there wasn't even a ghost shadow.

Who is so bored, he cursed inwardly, closed the door and turned back.

He hadn't taken a few steps before the door knocking sounded again.

He paused for a mont, then quickly walked to the door and opened it.

A gust of cool wind blew in, making him shiver suddenly.

There was still no one outside, emptily.

He was furious, cursing into the air: "Who is it, have the guts to co out, stop playing this with ."

No one responded.

He forcefully shut the door, thinking this ti if the knocking cos again, he wouldn't open the door even if it killed him.

He walked to his chair, the knocking sound didn't ring out again, but the room suddenly beca chilly, a cold that penetrated to the bone.

He tucked up his collar and sat down.

Creak...

Just as he sat down, he suddenly heard a strange sound.

The sound was evidently right beside him, he turned his head to look, the chair he was sitting on was slowly rising.

"A ghost," was his first reaction.

Although he's a Feng Shui Master who deals with yin and yang, he didn't believe in ghosts.

He flipped off the chair, his eyes glaring at the chair already a ter above the ground, and reached out to grab it.

The chair seed to have a mind of its own, just as he was about to grab the chair legs, it fell to the ground with a "bang."

He rubbed his eyes vigorously, scanned the room a few tis, ensuring no one was there, he propped the chair up and sat on it again.

Sitting on the chair, he pressed down to make sure it wasn't rising, relieved, thinking it must have been an illusion earlier.

Creak...

The sound echoed again, he was shocked, and without hesitation, flipped off the chair like flying.

Damn, the chair was rising again.

He rubbed his eyes once more, and slapped his face.

It hurt, he wasn't dreaming, nor was it an illusion.

Watching the chair rise slowly, a fear surged from his heart. Did he really encounter a ghost?

People fear ghosts because ghosts are invisible. It's because they're invisible that fear arises.

"Who, who are you?" he couldn't help but shout.

Suddenly a plaintive sigh echoed in the air, it was a woman's voice.

He looked around the room, apart from him, there was no one else; where did this sigh co from, who was it from.

Nervousness and fear filled his body, every nerve was jumping, he only felt his scalp tingling, and all the hairs on his body stood upright.

"Who, who are you?" he shouted with all his strength, staring at the empty room.

People say that encountering ghosts is a sign of bad luck; could he be having such misfortune?

The fear and terror of the unseen ghost in the house consud his entire mind, and he was about to collapse.

"Don't be afraid, he didn't co to harm you. It's your longing that brought him here," an ethereal voice echoed in the air.

His longing, who was he longing for? In the face of fear, he had forgotten that these past few days he had been thinking about Xia ng.

Since it wasn't here to harm him, his life was temporarily safe. Suppressing his inner tension, he said, "Who are you?"

"My na is Xia ng."

Xia ng, the goddess in his heart, he was stunned to hear the response.

Hadn't he been thinking about her these past few days? Could longing for soone actually summon a ghost? This was the first ti he had heard of such a thing.

After a long silence, he took a deep breath and asked, "Why are you looking for ?"

"I died unjustly. I need you to avenge ." The ethereal voice turned increasingly angry.

Xia ng didn't commit suicide; she was murdered. His heart tightened, the fear significantly diminished, and he struggled to stand up, sitting down on a chair and slowly saying, "Who killed you?"

"I don't know."

He was taken aback, "You don't even know who killed you, how can I avenge you?"

"Alas," the ethereal voice sighed, "You are the only one who thinks of every day after my death. My spirit was guided here by your longing. Perhaps it's fate that you are the only one who can help find my killer."

He fell into silence, unsure whether to agree.

Fu Xi watched the scene on the screen, his expression suddenly calm, and said to Yaoji, "Why are you showing this?"

Yaoji giggled, "Human King, you're really forgetful, aren't you? Don't you rember this man? I rember very clearly."

Fu Xi took a deep breath. How could he forget the man on the screen, and how could he forget the woman called Xia ng, who died and beca a Yin Spirit?

Upon closer inspection, the man on the screen did indeed resemble Fu Xi.

On the screen, everything continued.

"As long as you agree, he will try to et your conditions," the ethereal voice broke the silence.

The man had already cald down and said, "It's not about that. I, I really can't help."

He dared not agree to Xia ng because he couldn't guarantee he could find her murderer.

"I beg you, please agree to help him." The voice was plaintive, with a kind of unspeakable pity.

Upon hearing this plaintive and charming voice, his heart inexplicably softened, and he nodded, "Alright, I agree."

"Thank you."

"You're welco, but you'll have to first tell him how you were killed."

The incident happened on a dark and windy night.

At the ti, Xia ng returned ho, took a bath, checked the ti—it was around half-past nine—and was about to rest.

Just as she was preparing to rest, there ca a knock on the door.

She didn't open the door but glanced through the peephole, seeing no one outside.

Feeling puzzled, she turned to leave the door when the knocking sounded again.

She looked through the peephole once more but still saw no one. After so hesitation, she opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, a shadow dashed in from the side, and she knew nothing more.

Xia ng died inexplicably. Knowing her death, her soul refused to go where it should, determined to find her killer.

But as a lone and vengeful spirit, finding a killer in the mortal world seed impossible. At that mont, her spirit felt his longing, so she decided to seek him out for help.

Since he had already agreed to the ghostly Xia ng, he had no choice but to do his best to help her.

"Can you let him see you?" After talking for a while, he no longer feared the invisible ghost.

"It's not that I don't want you to see , but my spirit hasn't gathered together, so I can't let you see ."

Seeing this, Fu Xi said to Yaoji, "You don't need to show any more, I understand your point. Indeed, this is my other incarnation in the human world, and is this woman called Xia ng your incarnation in the human world?"

Yaoji moved her hands, and the screen disappeared, saying, "Yes, Human King, do you know that your incarnation in the human world is willing to sacrifice himself to save ? It moved greatly, but why are you so heartless to now?"

Fu Xi said coldly, "Yaoji, stop using this to make a point. There's no emotion left between us. You killed my wife, and today I must make you suffer."

After speaking, he grabbed at half-space with his right hand, and a golden bow appeared in his hand.
