I've been in East Sea County for a few days now. I originally ca to deal with Du Yuwei's matter, but who knew I'd run into so much ssy crap. Up till now, I still don't even know what's going on with Huang Liyong in the hospital.
Just as Lin Chuan was thinking about Huang Liyong, his phone rang. It was a call from the hospital, saying that Huang Liyong had already woken up.
This was undoubtedly very good news. Lin Chuan rushed to the hospital, went to the ward door, pushed it open and walked in, only to see Huang Liyong joking around with a little nurse.
Who knew what Huang Liyong was saying to that little nurse; all he saw was the nurse's face covered in blush, her eyes half-resentful, half-shy as she looked at him.
With a scene like this, how could Lin Chuan not understand? Obviously, Huang Liyong was flirting with the nurse. He cursed in his heart—just woke up and he's already hitting on won.
Hearing the door open, Huang Liyong saw Lin Chuan and raised his head with a smile, calling out to him. The little nurse glanced at Lin Chuan, lowered her head without a word, picked up a tray and walked out of the ward.
Once the nurse left the ward, Lin Chuan scolded him with a laugh: "You still haven't changed this bad habit of yours. Back in the army, how many derits did you get for this?"
Huang Liyong gave an awkward smile and didn't answer Lin Chuan's question. He changed the subject and said, "Lin Chuan, how's things over at the massage parlor?"
Lin Chuan gave a wry smile and said, "Nothing for now. If you kept not waking up, I really was going to stop caring. Right, how exactly did you get hurt?"
Huang Liyong's face suddenly turned serious. "I'm not sure either. I only rember that after I finished my business and ca out, I was walking along, and then suddenly I don't rember anything."
Lin Chuan froze for a mont. Before he could say anything, he saw Huang Liyong's face suddenly turn deathly pale after those words, and then his whole body began to convulse.
Startled, Lin Chuan quickly grabbed Huang Liyong's right arm, his right hand pressing on the pulse at his right wrist. He could feel an unknown stream of qi rampaging through the ridians in Huang Liyong's body.
Huang Liyong wasn't a cultivator; how could he have Inner Qi in his body? Lin Chuan felt it was unbelievable, but he didn't have ti to ask. He pressed both palms against Huang Liyong's back and slowly transmitted Inner Qi into his body.
When Lin Chuan's Inner Qi entered Huang Liyong's body, that stream of Inner Qi inside him seed almost sentient, constantly blocking the Inner Qi Lin Chuan was sending in.

At that mont, Huang Liyong's eyes suddenly snapped open, a strong killing intent in his gaze. He flipped his hand and struck hard at Lin Chuan's chest with his palm.
Lin Chuan twisted his body, yanked himself backward quickly, and dodged that strike from Huang Liyong.
The killing intent in Huang Liyong's eyes was intense, and his gaze was cold and dull. Lin Chuan was far too familiar with that kind of look—aside from people from Maoshan Tao, ordinary people just didn't have that.
Before Lin Chuan could think further, Huang Liyong suddenly leaped off the bed and lunged at him again.
If you said Huang Liyong was from Maoshan Tao, Lin Chuan wouldn't believe it even if you beat him to death. It looked more like he'd been controlled by soone from Maoshan Tao. He just had to subdue him first and talk later.
Lin Chuan stopped hesitating. His body spun quickly, his right hand reversing, palm turning into a fist, and he smashed it fiercely into the back of Huang Liyong's neck. Huang Liyong let out a muffled grunt and his whole body went limp, collapsing to the ground.
The commotion from their fight was imdiately heard by the nurses outside. By the ti a nurse pushed the door open and ca in, Lin Chuan had already gotten Huang Liyong back onto the hospital bed.
It was the sa nurse from before. She stared at Lin Chuan and the now-unconscious Huang Liyong on the bed in shock and asked, "What happened?"
Lin Chuan forced a smile and said, "Nothing. Maybe he got too excited from just waking up and then passed out again."
The nurse froze for a mont, then hurried to the bedside to check on Huang Liyong. That knockout blow from Lin Chuan just now had been precisely asured; he knew Huang Liyong would wake up naturally in an hour or two, so he didn't stop her.
The nurse clearly still cared a lot about Huang Liyong. After checking him over and confirming there was nothing wrong, she turned to Lin Chuan and said, "You should go. We've got this."
Lin Chuan frowned. The nurse was actually treating him like an outsider, as if she were Huang Liyong's wife or sothing.
Lin Chuan didn't stoop to argue with her. He turned and walked out of the ward. After leaving the hospital, questions kept circling in his mind. What exactly was going on with Huang Liyong? Who was trying to harm him? Could it be that the people from Maoshan Tao knew about his relationship with Lin Chuan?
He stood at the hospital entrance for a long ti without finding any answers. Just as he was about to turn and leave, a voice suddenly sounded behind him: "Lin Chuan, how co you're here?"
Lin Chuan turned and looked over, only to see that the one calling him was actually ng Hui. After being taught a lesson by Lin Chuan, that arrogant attitude of his had long since disappeared.
When it ca to Lin Chuan, ng Hui now only had respect. Afterwards he'd also looked into Lin Chuan's background, and when he found out his real identity, he was utterly shocked.
Seeing ng Hui, Lin Chuan's brows knit slightly and his face turned cold. He said icily, "So, you've been missing for a few days. Did you pass my ssage on to Yang Biao or not?"
ng Hui walked up to Lin Chuan, chuckled awkwardly and said, "Brother Biao hasn't been around these few days. I went to look for him a few tis but never saw him. But I heard he ca back yesterday."
