"Brother Bing, you're here!" Xiangzi's voice rang out from the entrance imdiately, and soon Xiangzi walked in, followed by two female attendants from the club, each carrying a tray with several goblets and two bottles of red wine on them!
Qin Shaobing stepped forward a few steps, and when he stood face to face with Xiangzi, Xiangzi gave a signal, indicating that everything was set!
Qin Shaobing nodded discreetly, while Xiangzi attentively opened a bottle of red wine, poured a few glasses, and personally brought them in front of Lin Chuan!
"Hey buddy, I know your alcohol tolerance, I wouldn't dare to compete with you, but it's our first eting, I'm toasting to you now, I'll drink first out of respect!" Xiangzi said, then downed the glass of red wine in his hand, and finished the drink while looking at Lin Chuan with a dog-like smile!
"What kind of trick are these two up to?" Lin Chuan sensed sothing amiss, but since they had personally co to toast, he couldn't say anything, and he too downed the glass of red wine in his hand!
"Good, refreshing!" Xiangzi said with a smile, then obediently retreated to the side!
Qin Shaobing then stepped up, holding the bottle of red wine from which Xiangzi had poured just now, humbly saying: "Buddy, I already witnessed your alcohol tolerance earlier, in the future, I won't dare to compete with you in drinking anymore. If you forgive my previous rude behavior, then drink this glass!"
As he spoke, Qin Shaobing poured another glass for Lin Chuan, and like Xiangzi, he drank first as a sign of respect, then looked at Lin Chuan with a smile, waiting for him to drink!
For a brief mont, countless thoughts filled Lin Chuan's mind. Could they be trying a relay tactic to get him drunk? Impossible, the alcohol content in red wine isn't nearly as strong as white liquor. To get him drunk on red wine would probably take until dawn without success!
Could they have drugged the wine? But Lin Chuan witnessed himself and Qin Shaobing drinking from the sa bottle of wine; even if there were drugs, it would have been manipulated in the glass, and he'd already had a glass before. Even if drugged, it's too late now!
Without much thought, Lin Chuan downed this glass too in one gulp, whatever happens, happens; let's see what other tricks they can play!
Qin Shaobing smiled in satisfaction, then turned to Xiangzi, signaling him with a look, Xiangzi understood imdiately, and opened the second bottle of red wine, pouring a full goblet!
"Shaobing, alright, since Yuanyuan's boyfriend has drunk your wine, he's forgiven you, and the misunderstandings before are resolved, let's not drink anymore!" Liu Xinlan intervened, worried that if Qin Shaobing drank too much again after just sobering up, it might really cause trouble!
"I understand, Sister Hui, I know my limits!" Qin Shaobing comforted with a smile, and picked up the goblet Xiangzi had just filled, walking to Wu Yuanyuan!
"Yuanyuan, I was indeed a bit over the top earlier; if you are willing to forgive , drink this glass, I promise not to entangle with you anymore in the future!" Qin Shaobing said sincerely to Wu Yuanyuan!
Wu Yuanyuan examined Qin Shaobing up and down, feeling sothing was off, but couldn't quite na what. Looking at the goblet Qin Shaobing raised in front of her, she rolled her eyes, and arrogantly said: "I don't care for your apology, just promise not to harass anymore, anyway, there's so many people here as witnesses!"
Qin Shaobing swallowed hard, suppressing the anger within, still wearing a smile!
Lin Chuan was growing restless; it was getting late, and if Zi Tong got ho without seeing him, she'd be worried at this hour. Without much thought, he snatched the goblet from Qin Shaobing's hand and drank the red wine in one gulp!
"Alright, I'm Yuanyuan's boyfriend, I drank for her, so it's all settled now, if there's nothing else, Yuanyuan and I will be leaving!" Lin Chuan said as he pulled Wu Yuanyuan up, ready to leave!
Qin Shaobing and Xiangzi both showed a mont of surprise, then quickly gathered themselves. If they let them leave just like that, it'd be too easy for them, and Qin Shaobing's grievances tonight would be wasted!
"Wait a minute, buddy, after all, Yuanyuan and I are classmates, we went to school together, I'd offer a glass as an apology; I want to see Yuanyuan drink it herself, only then can it truly an she's forgiven !"
Xiangzi poured another glass of red wine, and handed it to Qin Shaobing!
Wu Yuanyuan knew Lin Chuan was in a hurry to leave now, and since Qin Shaobing agreed, she didn't think much, and accepted the glass of red wine, drinking it all at once!
After drinking, Lin Chuan and Wu Yuanyuan wanted to leave imdiately, but before they'd taken a few steps, Qin Shaobing stopped them!
"Buddy, Yuanyuan, stick around a bit longer; I've arranged a spectacular show to watch together!" Qin Shaobing said, stepping forward and wrapping an arm around Lin Chuan and Wu Yuanyuan!
If they were to leave now, it'd be like letting a cooked duck fly away!
"Yes, Yuanyuan, the night is still young, stay and have fun longer, there's nothing happening tomorrow anyway, and once we part tonight, who knows when we'll see each other again!" Liu Xinlan also started to plead with Wu Yuanyuan.
Liu Xinlan originally planned to take advantage of tonight's gathering to have a good chat with Wu Yuanyuan, but didn't expect such an incident, leaving them with no chance for private conversation, which was sowhat regrettable!
