"No way, they just casually arrest people at the police station without giving an explanation, how is that okay!" Mao Xinna objected.
"Young lady, don't talk nonsense. We acted on a report and intelligence, and the person's appearance and features matched him, so how could we arrest the wrong person? Besides, we're just asking him to assist in our investigation. If he's truly innocent, we'll naturally send him back." The policeman said gently.
Regardless of who Mao Xinna was calling, he imdiately ordered, "Alright, we've got the person, let's head back."
A few officers pressed Lin Chuan into the police car, which quickly disappeared from everyone's sight.
"Um, Officer, I haven't had breakfast yet. Can we go grab so breakfast first so I can fill my stomach, and then we can talk about everything else?" In the police car, Lin Chuan's stomach growled continuously as he spoke with a wry smile.
Even though Lin Chuan said this, he was cursing the police inwardly, 'Damn it, couldn't you have co a little later, after I'd had breakfast!'

The older officer scolded the young officer and then turned back to Lin Chuan.
Lin Chuan felt utterly helpless; even if he shouted for justice now, few would believe him. Do they really think I'm a rapist? Is rape sothing a person does? Even if I wanted a woman, there are so many available, just like Wu Yuanyuan.
The police car turned a few streets and soon pulled into the police station. As Lin Chuan was led out of the car, a smile involuntarily crept to his lips.
Feeling sowhat amused, he muttered to himself, "It seems like I have a connection with this place, it's only been a few days since I was last here, and I'm already back."
This very police station was where Lin Chuan and Yu Sixue had visited a few days ago, and the head there is Yu Sixue's father, Yu Minen.

The station's instructor, Zhang Yiyong, was just coming out of Yu Minen's office. As he walked down the stairs, he saw a few officers bringing in a man into the hall.
"Xiao Li, what's going on here?" Zhang Yiyong took a glance at Lin Chuan, finding him sowhat familiar, yet without overthinking, called an officer over to ask quietly.
"Brother Zhang, we just got a call from a girl saying soone raped her last night. She even sent us a photo of the man via computer, and after our confirmation, this kid is the suspect. So, to prevent him from escaping, we didn't report to you and the station chief before taking action." The young officer nad Xiao Li imdiately ran over, nodding and bowing as he explained.
Zhang Yiyong ignored Xiao Li but furrowed his brows at his words, cursing internally, "How could you arrest soone without concrete evidence? What if you caught the wrong person, it's so reckless."
Lin Chuan looked at Zhang Yiyong and recognized him as the station's instructor, but Lin Chuan paid him no heed. Anyway, he's innocent, let these guys investigate thoroughly and release him; maybe he wouldn't have to trouble Yu Minen then.
"Xiao Li, I know you just beca a police officer, and you're still excited, but you can't act like this. What if you caught the wrong person? Also, where's the girl who reported the case? Where is she now?" Zhang Yiyong ultimately couldn't hold back his dissatisfaction because he recognized Lin Chuan and felt he wasn't the kind of person.
Xiao Liu's face suddenly changed, and he said after a mont, "Instructor, no way, we confird it. The man in the photo is him, and since the reporting girl values her privacy, she didn't appear, but she gave her na, ID, and even a picture from the scene."
"What? There's a photo from the scene?" Zhang Yiyong was shocked. If there's a photo from the scene, then it might be real, and Lin Chuan could be the rapist.
Although skeptical, Zhang Yiyong still asked Xiao Liu to grab the photos they received this morning. Holding the photo, his heart skipped a beat.

Xiao Li grinned, patting his chest as he assured, "No problem, we've confird it. The photo is real, and the man is the one we've captured. Absolutely no problem."
"Huh?" Zhang Yiyong suddenly felt puzzled and continued to ask, "Who took this photo? Was there a third person at the scene?"
"We asked. The girl who reported the case said a passing woman took it, and since she was scared, she recorded the scene and secretly handed it to the reporting girl, hence this photo." Xiao Li answered with a smile, seemingly about to make a big breakthrough, grinning broadly.
Though skeptical, Zhang Yiyong saw all the facts laid out and felt hesitant. But he finally instructed, "Contact the victim now; without her accusation, we don't have the right to arrest anyone."
"Okay, we'll reach out to the girl imdiately." Xiao Li replied with a bit of disinterest.
At this ti, Lin Chuan had already been taken to the interrogation room, with a young officer and the older officer questioning him about last night's activities.
"Na!" asked the officer sitting behind the long desk.
Lin Chuan glared at the officer, but still restrained his temper and answered honestly, "Lin Chuan."
"Age," the officer making the notes continued without looking up.
"Damn," Lin Chuan cursed internally.
"What? Louder, I can't hear you," The young officer making notes was a bit confused and raised his voice to remind Lin Chuan.
"I'm saying that you guys have nothing better to do than drag in for questioning, plus, isn't it ti you updated your thods? I've given you my ID, just write off of that. Why ask ? Ridiculous," Lin Chuan finally vented his frustration.
Although Lin Chuan never claid to be a saint, he considered himself a law-abiding citizen, at least while people didn't provoke him. He thought this was all a charade orchestrated by Zi Tong, and it would all clear up if he spoke with them. He didn't expect them to actually detain and formally question him!
